Palestine, officially recognized by the United Nations is not on this map. And the scaling of the map is a little off.

WorldMap is unusable and basically locks you out of any reasonable functionality behind a paywall in addition to a series of on-screen ads. There is nothing useful, utilitarian, or good at all with WorldMap.
Not even worth a click, seriously.
Downloaded the free, then decided to try the full version. Not much of a difference between the two. Detail view is lacking. There are better apps out there…. Pass this one by.

I got this for my son so he could learn the world but when it said pro version I got it for him once I reloaded my app it asked me to buy it again but I already spent my money SCAM😡😡😡🤬🤬🤬🤬😡😡
I looked for Okinawa and it wasn’t there
All of the countries names are labeled in red. Taiwan is the only country that is labeled black meaning the map creators/app makers are bootlickers to China. Taiwan is a country no matter what China says you cowards.
WorldMap is OK except for the permanent ad at the bottom to download Voyager. When I close it, I get a Google ad that I can’t get rid of. Really annoying! Will probably delete because of this.
Pretty good except: 1) It should include and label US state capitals 2) Swaziland is now Eswatini 3) Crimea is now part of Russia 4) Yangon is no longer the capital of Myanmar

Very handy when I’m listening to the news
I really like this map that has states included with major and some miner towns with roads between them. You con also search all of the country capitals and names. Note that you can scroll the list if names but be careful the list doesn’t return to the top so you can miss something if you scroll too far down. There is also a time zone map which is useful but doesn’t show the state boundaries which is unfortunate since they move a lot depending on the state.

Terrible. Very little detail. You’re better off with Google or other GPS maps. WorldMap is useless.
Would like to be able to turn map so that you could see how far Russia is from U.S.
Two things that would increase the number of stars in this review:
1. Show Taipei as a national capitol.
2. Enable landscape view when the device is tilted that way.
Whenever I try searching, the screen goes black and it forces me out of WorldMap .
It is of no real use. It is not specific enough.
I found World Map 2020 much too busy. It is hard to discern the country names, in red, immersed in a sea of city names in black. The same problem exists with US state names, in a light brown, swamped by city names, in black.
When launched with an iPad in landscape orientation, WorldMap opens in portrait mode zoomed in to a few provinces in Canada. It has to be cajoled into portrait mode and then manually zoomed out before one can navigate.
An earlier version, which cannot be used on the latest iOS versions, was superior.
While I absolutely love WorldMap I have some complaints. WorldMap doesn’t have smaller countries such as Monaco and Vatican City as well as other small countries in other places such as the Caribbean or Pacific Ocean. WorldMap is really great overall and I highly recommend you check it out.

I have been searching for "learning geography," and "countries," only to find inferior and expensive alternatives. This is exactly what I was looking for - had to search "Atlas."
