Unofficial Map for RDR2 Reviews

I love UnofficialMap! It’s super helpful. For some reason when I close UnofficialMap , my selections go away and reverts back to default. It’s kind of annoying to have to go back in and change it back to how I like it (I like to only have the categories I’m looking for at that moment turned on, because the map doesn’t zoom in very far and it gets overwhelming to have everything turned on.) the exotics map is also not very accurate, but I get that it might be a work in progress kind of like the animal heatmaps. I’d love if UnofficialMap would save my selections with my account so it would stay how I left it even if I close UnofficialMap /go to my computer instead of my phone. It would also be great if we could zoom in further. Overall really useful, and I bought pro because I want to support the development of UnofficialMap! I hope it keeps getting better.

This is soo good because all of the features that I need are free and UnofficialMap has every thing that i didn’t know were in the game and tells me where they are and if you make an account and sign in on their website it is even better because it’s free as well and it lets you do more things. This is the best app to help you with red dead redemption 2 and it needs to be downloaded by anyone with the game. Sorry to the developers that I couldn’t add more stars but I would if it would let me.

This update right in the middle of me using it. This new version is so cluttered. You can no longer strike out items you've already collected, so you just have to click all over the map to mark an item as "found". No more tap to zoom, zooming lags and if done too fast, can't load map correctly. The original site was great and the markers felt more authentic. I paid for UnofficialMap bc I know a lot of work was put into making it and it seems fair as often as I use it, but it's less functional and more of a hassle than the original.

UnofficialMap is super useful, but I’d really like an option to save/lock my current map filters so that it doesn’t reset them every time UnofficialMap restarts.

Another handy feature would be filters for time-sensitive things, such as stranger missions or random encounters that are only available until/after certain story missions.

Aside from that, I love UnofficialMap and would highly recommend to all fellow completionists out there!

UnofficialMap is great. I’ve decided to got for full completion on this, my second play through. This map is clutch for getting all of Algernon Wasp’s god forsaken orchids and plumes and all the other collectibles throughout the game. I can’t say enough good things about it. Best app I’ve ever downloaded for my iPad. Plus, it works on my iPhone and the information syncs across your account/devices. Love this. Get it, you won’t be disappointed.

Love this map. One reviewer said it didn’t show what ign map showed, I disagree, in fact just checked ign doesn’t show stranger locations, this one does. Would have given five stars, but problem I have is I have to use this on the online site because it won’t let me sign in on UnofficialMap . I would have gladly updated to pro if I could have logged into UnofficialMap . I go to the site every time I play. Wish they would fix log in for app. I even changed passcode three times and tried it several times. Can log into site, but not UnofficialMap .

I love UnofficialMap . It helped me get 100% on story mode and helps me with so much in online. If I could give 10 stars I would. I bought the 5$ pro version and don’t regret it at all. The only two things that I don’t like is that the roads aren’t bold and some trails don’t even show up. Also you can’t zoom in very well. Other than that. I LOVE UnofficialMap.

I used the free version and was able to find everything within minutes vs google and websites. The guide book may go into detail but this is perfect for a gamer like me. I click into what area I’m in & find every single piece I need and more.
I’ve played through story mode a few times and this still has more information than what I found online.

Amazing how precise it is, it is the best if you want to find new weapons to terrorize the town of saint denis it is fun to find a bunch of hats but helps with some items that could help you in the amounts of main and side missions, I told a friend who loved RDR2 and they asked what the name was for it and I watched them download it, please make one for fallout 3, fallout new Vegas and one for fallout four please.

It’s been almost two years since I first played and completed the Red Dead Redemption 2 story mode. I downloaded UnofficialMap in hopes of it giving me an advantage to explore more of what I may have missed the last time I played and UnofficialMap has done its job so far.

For 6 dollars after tax it’s so worth it. I have racked up so much money in game with the collector role so far and it’s awesome. My only complaint is sometimes the locations are way off or the items just aren’t there and I wish there was a button to mark everything un-found. Love UnofficialMap!

UnofficialMap is pretty good, I mainly got it so I could find new horses and loot, however a lot of this info is wrong, for example it will say that at a certain location you will find such and stuff, then you go there and it’s no where to be found, this has happened many times to me, same with horses, even if I have restarted my PlayStation it’s still never there.

As a fan who’s used hours of their life on the game I can say confidently that this is and has everything. There are things on the map I’ve never even known are there. Pictures could be handy but most of the names of items give you a basic understanding of what they are. *Spoilers are eminent since the map reveals locations of certain things.

The map is amazing. The developer is crooked. Use as free resource while it is available, do not purchase the pro version. I did not read enough of the lower star ratings that clarified this point, thus why I gave it a 5 star.

UnofficialMap works well for me and it’s better than using a web site or book or paper map. One issue is that when I hide items such as online items they re-appear the next time I open UnofficialMap . It would be nice if hiding items was persistent.

It works great..sort of. If you just want a map to use in tandem with the game map then it’s fine. If you want to use any of the functionality then you must create an account. However once you do that you can’t login. It’s obviously broken and not a design choice but nevertheless I can’t rate it any higher because of that.

I have tried hundreds of times to log into my account with my iOS app, but it won’t let me. It keeps saying “couldn’t log I :(“

I paid for the premium features and nobody has gotten back to me about the issue. The web based map on my computers browser works fine and allows me to log in. Just not iOS. I hope someone figures this out, but it has been over a year so probably not.

I bought UnofficialMap specifically after going online and seeing the websites heatmaps. I spent $7 to go pro and there are ZERO heatmaps!!! This is absolutely ridiculous and I’d like my money back since this was a complete waste.

Whether you’re a completionist or just want to know if you missed something, this companion app has everything you need. They do a great job telling you which chapter that certain quests & events become available too.

Love UnofficialMap, super helpful. My only gripe is that there is no universal reset button for all the markers. If you start a new game you have to manually go in and turn everything found to undiscovered, and that’s just a real pain when starting a new game. An update with that feature would easily make UnofficialMap 5 Star.

This is an amazing app. Even with just the free version, everything from single player is shown to the precise location, and everything besides some Madam Nazzar items is shown for the online portion. Very well made app. 5 stars!

I love UnofficialMap it helps me find many of the things I am looking for, the only thing that I would change is that when you r trying to zoom In and click on one thing u click on something else...

This has been a great tool for my Collector role! I’ve made thousands of dollars and have not bought a Collectors Map from Madam Nazar. Could you add entrances to cave systems? This would also be helpful. In all, I love UnofficialMap!

I paid for the pro and thought I had been duped. It just took a bit for the pro benefits to kick in I guess. Everything is working fine now. Good map. Better without an ad.

Changed the game I can’t even play without referencing every couple minutes to make sure I’m not missing anything big time saver

This is really the best map out there. I used the web version until I saw it on UnofficialMap Store. If I could pay for it I gladly would!

Can only track 200 items.
If you don’t save them progress is lost.
If it crashes progress is lost.
Every time you start up you have to choose what items to filter out from the map.
6.99 for the full map that can track over 200 items. You know how many things there are in this game?!

Helps a lot, easy to find everything, but cannot log in in iOS app. Always error "couldn’t log in :(". So saving found items etc is not possible

It does what it suppose to, but when I go back the next day I can never log back in at all to see my progress on the things I haven’t collected yet. It’s like I have to start all over again trying to see where I left off at 🤦🏽‍♀️

It does what it says it does you can add 200 locations. When i reached max level i paid for pro through UnofficialMap store and go figure it never upgraded to pro and there is no support link for this web site. I just want my money back but there is no way to contact the developer. So im giving it 1 star cause of no support and no refund on a app that wont upgrade.
