Doesn’t let me do anything until I decide to spend money on it. Not even knowing how to use Split or anything beside the home screen and Split description.

Does not this app with those who paid

Entered a very basic trip and it only took two expenses for Split to completely get it wrong. Unfortunately it’s very difficult to undo settlements

I paid for Split because it seemed to work well for what I needed. I noticed though that when you clear a payment, the total shown on the home screen isn't right. If someone owes you $50 of a $100 bill, when you clear it, it won't become $0 it will say $150 as if the total went up instead of being reduced. Please fix this.

Although the totals are correct, the expenses page tallies up payments with expenses blowing expenses out of proportion. Also, I would expect Split to sync to my other devices, at least IOS devices. Good effort though! I would have loved to use this one.

Still needs work on functionality. Will not allow you manually record specific amounts paid by individuals towards an event.

Ex. Dinner cost $100 for 4 people. If one person gives you $20 there is no way to record that manually and then show the difference as a remaining balance for that one person.

Need to have a function that will allow people to pay their balance down without actually paying for an expense.

Glad Split exists. For an extra fee it even allows you to adjust how much each member is supposed to pay if it isn't this app equally. Note that Split hasn't been updated in four years and the developer has no presence on the Apple store as far I can tell. Their AppSupport link leads to a dead end marketing site.

I love Split! My roommate and I use it to track our shared expenses. The only issue I have run into which keeps me from 5 stars is that when a push notification comes up, it is very hard to make the badge on Split icon go away. It should disappear as soon as Split opens or when you view the added transaction.

Use Split to document and share expenses for a youth outing among multiple adults and it worked well. We did find that it would be helpful if there was a way to account for interim payments rather than having the only option being to clear the debt entirely or not at all.

Best App I have tried for tracking and splitting expenses for a group. PLEASE update a IPad app.

I went on a father son trip where different dads paid for different expenses and some people were included and others were not. I was going to work it out in Excel but found Split. It worked great and indicates who owes money to someone else.

Great app for tracking expenses amongst friends.

I like that there is just a one time fee and it is easy to use.

Tried another app but it was confusing. Split is straight forward and easy to use. Great for splitting expenses for small groups traveling together.

Did the expenses for a group of 10 fishermen with Split. No need to enter email addresses and share it, no data harvesting, just a simple app that works well.

Works perfectly and the whole group was impressed because it was complicated. We had different people buying things, some people opting out, but this app kept track of it all! This is a great app!!

Easy to use, clean UI, and works. I would encourage the creators to spread awareness so that you can continue to invest in adding features.
