Never works for live update

Every time I get a notification for a live update on something happening and I go to the app I get a commercial that runs for about 30 seconds and then the app crashes. As long as I’ve had the app I have never been able to see a live update. I can read the stories once they post them.
Video section of app is terrible

When you start a video, it is very difficult to stop them. There is no obvious exit button and after many minutes of frustrating pushing in different parts of the screen which opens advertisements a “x” finally appears in the upper left corner. When that is pushed it completely exits the app. GARBAGE! This app needs some serious work

It is really frustrating when you are out and you wanted to see and or listen to an update you get a notification about and there is no freaking sound. Correct your technical issues and I’ll update my rating because I typically love channel 9
