i get that there is connectivity function that would require some kind of "account" to get the full use out of timr. but dont MAKE me go through some long-winded signup process just to use the basic features of timr .
this is a sign of an app that is not user-focused. wont use.
This is undoubtedly the finest piece of time and record keeping software that I have ever used. And I think I've tried them all. Flexible adaptable to the users needs.
If your not already paying the ridiculously high rates for this service pass this one up.
You can’t changed the date anymore! I used to be able to start a this app for the day before. Also I should be able to edit saved time from my phone. The last couple of update have not been good.
This first thing timr does is ask you to register. It lost me right there. I immediately deleted it. Sorry, guys.
I was gona use it for my drive time but if I just want to punt on my iPod then transfer it wen I get home then no I don't want to register for anything.
this app has met a real need in my time tracking. I needed a quick, easy way to log time used. I also wanted integrated mileage, so this app was timr .
Time tracking is easy. I do everything as a project. There is a web interface used for managing settings, but timr itself is reasonably capable. You cannot add new projects or change details once saved. Slightly annoying but maybe that's good for employee control. Both of these are done via the web.
I haven't used any other apps so I can't compare directly. The fact that this app did time and mileage sold me. Now though, they have a new app, don't remember the name, for mileage tracking. I suspect the mileage function in this app will not be developed further. And, it will prob cost more to do both functions, split between apps....that doesn't appeal to me.
