First, it is necessary to upgrade to a premium membership to use this feature. When entering scores on your watch, if your iPhone is in the golf cart, and your are more than 15 feet from the cart your scores will appear to have been entered, but are then lost. The GPS accuracy is spotty - and it takes forever to actually provide accurate information - I found myself standing in the fairway waiting on my watch on every hole - embarassing. The final insult was when I attempted to use the app on my watch, and received a message that I must upgrade to a Champion Membership to use the "refresh" feature. Well, I paid for the Champion Membership - so don't have a clue as to why it suddenly didn't work. So, there I was - no GPS distance for that round. Nice. I could have used my iPhone, but it was in the cart, and I didn't want to carry it with me each time I needed a distance. So, I've cancelled my subscription, and after paying $4, then $5 per month for the summer I fell like I wasted about $25 that could have been used to buy a Garmin GPS. My advice - save your money if you plan to use your Apple Watch.

I have used this app for many years. Great app with all of the features mentioned. However, the same premium membership I have renewed each year suddenly doesnβt allow me to track and add clubs to my bag anymore. Not only that, if you try to do anything with a club in your bag, it deletes all the distances you have saved for that club over the years. You now need to purchase premium, and then purchase their plus plan for $50 more. Well, when I really needed it on vacation, it would only give me errors trying to upgrade, yet they still took my money, TWICE! I sent multiple emails via the app to try to get support, and got zero response. That was 2 months ago. To this day I have never received any contact from them. I had to go through Apple who quickly returned my money after they saw GolfLogix did nothing to help fix the issue.
Should be a good app, but not worth it when you do not have any customer service when there are issues with app performance.
There are lots of good other options out there now for golf GPS apps.

I paid for the premium option while the putt break feature and its percentage numbers are somewhat helpful when it comes to the approach shots and pitches and chips the percent numbers for the breaks are totally inaccurate. How do I know? I have been using the aim point for the last 3 years and I know three breaks from my feet and when I compare them with the app most of the time I was shocked to find the discrepancies. On one of the top courses that I often play I did buy a greenbook from strackaline which make these books for pga pros and they used the laser scanner to scan the greens to get the breaks and their percent numbers and compare with golflogix putt breaks and these numbers are not even close!!!! On another course I play on one of the green the putt breaks in totally opposite direction to what golflogix says. This begs the question how golflogix got these breaks from? I'd say most of them are guesswork of some sort! Do not pay for the premium option because these are fake!
