Good app paid for the premium stuff but still spams u with adds good to read on worth plans and all definitely not good long term app--- update - had to but the upgrade 2 times to remove the adds overall I'm not sure why i continue to use it

Save your money

Software has not been upgraded. Crashes when you try to save. Does not a acknowledge you’ve upgraded. I have just blown $5.°°

eBay mobile website problem

Does not work well with eBay (mobile version) website correctly >_<

Try to view details on item in eBay mobile website, but it's cut half way...looks awful!!!

Legacy app?

Bought this a few years ago. Absolutely the best then. Pages exported/emailed in a zip file were a must have.
The errors and misses have been increasing. I don't think iSaveWebLite has been keeping up with developments in HTML page language.
I just checked. The last update was in 2011.
iSaveWebLite's only going to get worse as HTML continues to evolve.

Does no handle iframe.

Does not handle iframe.
I would have given a 3 or 4 star rating if the description would include the disclaimer "does not handle iframe".
When viewing a saved page, is there a way to view it in full screen mode?

Great idea...but didn’t work for me

The first time it saved, but it saved more than the single page I wanted to save.
(I read and followed all the instructions, but it still saved EVERY page on that site)
I tried to use it again on several other sites, but no longer had the option to save?
IF it worked it would be great. I would buy the full version... Hopefully the developer is reading the comments and will update iSaveWebLite accordingly.

Note to developer!

Great app almost makes me want to go full, can you make an app that can download iPhone web apps then view them offline and fullscreen? Thanks!!

Problem with Chinese character

Handy app, like it in general, will buy the full version if it fix the bug of Chinese character.

It WAS Good...

iSaveWebLite was great for my iPod touch, but I deleted it by accident and tried to buy it again, but now it says it's not compatible for my iPod. FIX PLEASE!

Doesn't save images

The screenshots are very misleading. The images are not saved, so they don't become visible in your saved pages unless you are online, beating the whole reason for iSaveWebLite . Still, it works very well for text portions. It has a built in browser, so you don't need 7 step bookmarklets or plug-ins on Firefox etc.

Needs to crawl

I wanted to save my website locally to the iPad. Because of the iPad's closed nature, I can't do it and so I came here hoping to find an app that would let me do it. iSaveWeb is close to that app but has one serious setback. I have to manually navigate to and save each individual page. That will take more time than I have. iSaveWebLite needs to be able to crawl through a site and d/l everything automatically. Once it can do that, I'll definitely buy it. Oh, and there needs to be a way to hide the sidebar in landscape. I've noticed a trend for devs to provide a popup menu when in portrait but a static sidebar menu when in landscape. Very annoying and bad design in terms of consistency. I can deal with it in Mail as it is just text but when viewing websites, I want to take advantage of landscape orientation and it's extra width.

How to get dynamic pages

To get dynamic pages you need to change 'Download / Web page file' setting to 'Get from browser', and use app build-in browser, not Safari.
Learned that from their Users Forum...

Easy

All you do
Copy a web link from any browser app or safari...then paste the copy text link to the address bar (in iSaveWebLite) and wait for the web page to load then click save button (the save button will light from grey to a light grey in Words) take awhile to save (show number on how pages needed to download)

Works great for me

Downloaded 2 long articles from a favorite website before boarding a plane. simple interface, quick download and excellent organization. Really enjoy iSaveWebLite!

Love app

I love iSaveWebLite it’s great and perfect for me might actually use this for my regular browser. It’s great for saving online simulators to play offline that’s why I love iSaveWebLite

Just downloaded it a hour ago

Seems fine for me. I'm kinda tech savvy so I was fine. Not sure why it's bad for others

Actually works

iSaveWebLite works with image rollovers and java animations unlike other offline readers I've used. Definitely the best I've used

Works great for real estate agents!

Thanks to iSaveWebLite I no longer have to use paper to show my clients listings. I can also keep a log of the properties that I show my clients. I got the iPad for my business and iSaveWebLite just makes it even better!

Great app!

I needed to save some sewing pattern instructions to work offline, and this did the job! Very easy to figure out. May even upgrade to pro if I find myself in need of iSaveWebLite again. I have a jailbroken phone and had no issues with compatibility.

The new update

The old version (2.6) was problematic but this iPod 5 update (2.7) fixes it. Works great, thanks.
