Naturespace Holographic Audio Reviews

I’ve had NaturespaceHolographicAudio for several years, and it’s always worked great. But after updating my iPhone and iPad to iOS 18 this week, the Sleep Timer function no longer works on either device. When I click the Start option on the Sleep Timer screen, NaturespaceHolographicAudio disappears from the screen and nothing else happens. It’s still open in the background, as touching and dragging on the display brings it back into view, as you would with any app that is in the background. But it does not play its track nor start the timer running, and any attempt to start it just sends NaturespaceHolographicAudio to the background again. I’ve tried changing the timer setup and track selection, even deleted and reinstalled NaturespaceHolographicAudio , but the problem persists. The track I have it set to play is a free one, so no purchase issues involved, and the same track plays fine when simply selected from the main screen. So it is the Sleep Timer function that is broken. And since I have used this every night for several years, I can say with certainty that the update to iOS 18 is when the problem showed up.

Update (-2 stars) - this is still one of the most expansive ambient sound libraries with amazing recordings. But no updates in 2 years is concerning and newer apps like Portal are making immersive ambient tracks that take advantage of spatial audio and other features. Nature Spaces needs to start adding spatial audio to tracks and brush up their UI to stay competitive. Currently their customer service has been unresponsive. I’d hate to see this amazing library fall by the wayside for lack of TLC.

I’ve used NaturespaceHolographicAudio for years and love it more than others for a few reasons: allows me to mix it with other audio apps which is great for meditation and noise isolation; wide range of soundscapes that are realistic; 3 dimensional recordings are amazing. A couple things would boost NaturespaceHolographicAudio further: 1. Support for apple’s Spatial Audio with AirPod Pros 2. Sounscapes for meditation that include standing bells or singing bowls 3. Tropical soundscapes - I live in east Africa currently and the birds, wildlife, and landscapes have incredible sounds. Would love to see a few of these 4. Frozen lake soundscape - ever heard ice on a frozen lake? Make a great soundscape esp if set to music.

Having lost access to my soundscapes purchases after I bought a new iPad, since May 16th, I’ve been trying unsuccessfully to have my app purchases restored.

Getting through to anyone in customer support is next to impossible.

Initially, I eventually heard back from a woman named Julia who acknowledged the problem I was having was an issue known to Naturespace. Her solution was to send me an email with a link that she said would restore my purchases.

Unfortunately, the link was nowhere to be found. I notified Julia about this and she sent a second email with a link that again, did not exist.

When I made Julia aware of this, I was told that the link had a problem working with Gmail accounts and that I should send my request for a link that would work from another email account.

I have done this on numerous occasions to no avail. I’ve heard nothing in response. In frustration, I even sent a message to support via the Naturespace Facebook page. Again no one from customer support contacted me to help.

While Naturespace arguably features the best recordings available, the company’s customer service department has proven to be a massive disappointment.

It is completely unacceptable that, four months after my initial inquiry, I’m still waiting to have my purchases restored.

Update: I have been contacted by support and this issue has been corrected. I hope going forward that the dev’s get a fix out so restoring purchases, on new hardware, does not require jumping through these hoops.

Issues aside, I love NaturespaceHolographicAudio, and have used it almost exclusively since it first came out. I am excited to see life being breath into NaturespaceHolographicAudio and look forward to purchasing new tracks.

I try not to do this, using a review to get the dev’s attention, and will do everything within my power to work through customer support but in this case it is not working. I have purchased a new iPad and I cannot restore my previous purchased tracks. I went through this with the purchase of a new iPhone and support had to work behind the scenes to get this working. I have sent several emails to support and have had NO response over several weeks, and no the response is not in my junk mail. I was really excited to see renewed life on NaturespaceHolographicAudio, I have used it for a very long time and have purchase almost every track but that does me no good if I can’t get access to them and can’t get support to respond to help with this issue. As it stands, NaturespaceHolographicAudio is great unless you purchase new hardware, for some strange reason I can access 18 of my 149 purchased tracks. How can I get this resolved?

I used to just use a fan for white noise. But then I decided it wasn’t enough. So I went around on NaturespaceHolographicAudio Store and downloaded all of the free white noise apps I could find, but kept going back to search for more. Then I found Naturespace. I have used it every day for two years now and have not had one sleepless night when I used to have multiple nights of tossing and turning a month. These are beautiful, real recordings and they have way large selection so you can find whatever you’re looking for. The tracks even help with studying and work too! I have even listened to one of their more imaginative tracks on a 5 hr plane ride to let my imagination wander to pass the time!

All in all, I highly recommend. It’s fully worth any money you spend on extra tracks. But even the free ones are fantastic.

Almost everyone is likely agree that the NatureSpace recordings are outstanding. I had a problem getting the recordings to download to one of my iPads. It did take several rounds of communication with the support team to solve the problem, so the solution did not happen overnight. I’m happy to say that they did get back to me and they did get the recordings restored to my newest iPad. I use my iPads daily in a wide range of ways. I feel like the NatureSpace recordings actually improve the quality of my life. I wish I had more time to spend out in natural settings. The recordings give me some of the pleasure and peace that I miss when I can’t get out into nature.

This is a great app to use when you are running. I used one of these tracks during my 5K this last Halloween. It is a great app to help you drift off to bed. It is also a good to have playing in the background while you and your partner are playing in the foreground. NaturespaceHolographicAudio makes walking the dog and driving to work even more pleasurable experiences now. If you are looking for audio tracks to help with your Tinnitus Retraining Therapy, you can use these.

I have had to contact the customer support several times due to a few different issues. Usually with me having a new phone or something. They were always prompt response and very helpful.

When you buy an iPhone, and if you like your ears, download this application.

I downloaded Naturespace a few days ago after accidentally running across it in NaturespaceHolographicAudio Store. As the description states, Naturespace's user interface is extremely VoiceOver-friendly which is a huge plus if you are blind like me. The sound quality is unparalleled, especially when using headphones, and the tracks' titles and descriptions are very creative. I purchased the Complete Collection earlier today, and the diverse, expansive selection of soundscapes blew me away. The only problem I noticed thus far is that purchasing the Complete Collection does not unlock future releases, but I hope that will change sometime in the near future. Aside from that, I highly recommend Naturespace to anyone who has an appreciation for binaural, spatious, and unique soundscapes. You will not regret it!

I have been using NaturespaceHolographicAudio for several years. It is hands down the best sound app out there (and I have tried a dozen or more other ones). The variety of sound scapes offered is exceptional. One for every mood or purpose whether that is sleep, study, meditation or just background ambience. This is not a cheap sound scape of the same wave looped endlessly. Every track is 20 minutes or more long so you experience it as real. These tracks are not cheap recordings of eight seconds of a river, a few chirps or wind looping on and on. After a while those knock odds becomes monotonous and irritating, rather than soothing and immersive. I sleep every night, all night to one of the dozens of sound scapes. NaturespaceHolographicAudio is a work of love and genius. Get NaturespaceHolographicAudio - you won’t regret it.

The newest update of NatureSpace is nothing short of perfect. the recordings are of fabulous quality. It is like being right there where the recording was made. The sound is so clear and realistic that the listener can tell whether trees are close and densely growing or whether the area is open. Now that all functions of NaturespaceHolographicAudio work with VoiceOver, I can now enjoy all aspects of NaturespaceHolographicAudio . I am pleased with the new wake up timer because that was something I was waiting for. Thanks for a great app.

I still love NaturespaceHolographicAudio after several years of use. I have tried many, many nature sound apps, and nothing comes close to Naturespace. I have insomnia, and I use the Indigo Raindrop track every night to go to sleep. I could not be sure of a good night's sleep without Naturespace. Thank you.

I have been using NatureSpace since before 2012 for various uses from relaxation to focused inspiration for creative endeavors. The sound quality and abundance of tracks as never left me without something calming, insightful, or inspirational to get me through my days and hours. Stuck in suburbia or in the city due to work related tasks the ability to sonically escape my surroundings was and is a continued boon to my mental health. While recent updates had caused issues where purchased tracks had no longer been available, after some patience and working with customer service, these issues have been rectified ten-fold. I am very pleased and recommend NaturespaceHolographicAudio to everyone considering it as a relaxation and meditative service and plan to continue using it well into the future.

For as long as I can remember I’ve had tinnitus. Around four years ago I got hearing aids which greatly increased my hearing which overrode the tinnitus sound in my head. Then while on a hunting trip in the summer of 2018 my tinnitus sound increased to the point where I was losing sleep. I told my wife if I do not find help for this noise in my head I am going to go insane. After some research I discovered the American Tinnitus Association which put me in touch with some local ENT’s. I was fitted with new Bluetooth hearing aids and then started my search for a good app to listen to some calming sound during the day. After trying out several different sound apps I’ve been using the Nature Scape app for six months. I listen to NaturespaceHolographicAudio from the time I get up to the time I go to bed then have a pillow speaker at night. I can honestly say Nature Scape app was a lifesaver.

JANUARY 2023 UPDATE:

Nothing new to report except that I’m still enjoying NaturespaceHolographicAudio and the great audio tracks it provides. My favorite track is titled “Serpentine.“ It’s a recording made at night in some remote, mountainous canyon where two distant trains are traveling on railroad tracks. The main sounds are the crickets that are all around you as well as the wind rustling the leaves and grass that are also all around you. Every once in a while, though, you can hear the faint sound of a train horn. Hearing that distant, forlorn, and lonely train horn always makes me stop whatever I’m doing and listen intently. It’s a really amazing experience! It’s so darn immersive and evocative! It’s difficult to describe how this particular track affects me emotionally. I am concerned, however, that NaturespaceHolographicAudio has been abandoned by the developers. I hope that’s not the case! There hasn’t been an update in a couple of years now. NaturespaceHolographicAudio is still functioning properly on my iPhone 11, but an update would be nice — especially if it had some new audio tracks to purchase! please don’t desert NaturespaceHolographicAudio and let it become abandoned-ware.

The sounds in NaturespaceHolographicAudio are incredible! Very high-quality and ultra-realistic. Very happy and satisfied with my purchase! HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Short form on NaturespaceHolographicAudio - excellent. So many scenarios to suit any mood, any time of day. My favorites are any thunderstorms or rain scenarios, but all are superb. Having said that, I was having a problem loading the catalog. I removed NaturespaceHolographicAudio , tried a reinstall to see if the catalog would download, it would not. In doing so though I lost ALL my purchased files. I went onto Facebook where the developer has a page, messaged them and a gentleman came online is about 2 minutes and explained a server problem. He tried to fix their server, was extremely polite, helpful but could not resolve his server problem. It was midnight eastern time. Today I checked and the system was fixed and within minutes I had the entire catalog and my 76 sound files restored. Really outstanding product and customer service that cares!

Been using NaturespaceHolographicAudio for years. I’ve got chromesthesia, which means I see color when I hear sounds - this can be overwhelming, especially within our largely urban reality. The colors I experience from an office printer or highway create more stress than the sounds of nature.

Enter NaturespaceHolographicAudio. It may read as cliché, “ NaturespaceHolographicAudio saved me,” but it did. This plus some noise canceling headphones can instantly calm me down, shut off my anxiety and panic from sensory overwhelm, and mentally bring me from the stressful urban/office world back to nature. If I close my eyes, I’m sitting next to the bubbling brook or aspen grove they’ve recorded. It’s astounding what they have done in terms of sound quality. They bring your ears into the pristine.

I’d love more Colorado and mountain sounds to purchase (e.g. spring runoff from a glacier). Thank you to the creators and developers of this amazing tool - it’s more an experience of peace than it is a standard app!

I am going to keep this short because my opinion of the Naturespace app and it's support team is very simple.
If you are looking for relaxing, meditative, inspiring or even exciting sounds of nature, then look NO further. When I originally started shopping nature sounds I tried many different apps, and I can tell you there is no comparison to, not only the quality, but the variety that Naturespace has to offer.
To top that off, when an apple update created an issue with a few of the sounds on my Naturespace app, it was less than an hour from the time I sent a plea for help to the time I received a reply from the support staff, explaining in simple terms how to correct the problem.
Ok, maybe I didn't exactly keep it short, but I think you get the message.... Install the FREE app, and then check out the multitude of "products" that they offer. You WON'T be disappointed!

You really don't need any other sound ambiance app aside from this one.

The quality of sound from NaturespaceHolographicAudio is amazing. I have used NaturespaceHolographicAudio for years and enjoy all the new tracks they release. I don't buy them all, but it's nice that you can preview them to see what you like. The sounds are crisp and clear. They take you to another place in your mind. I use it for sounds to sleep to, wake to, and sounds to focus to. If you're trying to meditate/focus or just trying to drown out some unpleasant noises, NaturespaceHolographicAudio is awesome. There really is a track for almost anything you're doing.

I find NaturespaceHolographicAudio very friendly navigation and the graphics are really cool for each track. The descriptions of the tracks really help set the mood for what you are listening to. The sleep and wake functions are very handy for setting up your sounds on a schedule.

This is my first app review, I enjoy NaturespaceHolographicAudio so much I felt inspired to share and get it the attention deserves.

I live with the effects of CPTSD- meaning my nervous system is highly sensitive and I’m easily affected by sounds and surrounding noises. This sensitivity often times makes it tough to fully relax -and focus on things that matter- sometimes because I’m busy just trying to calm down.

The power of NaturespaceHolographicAudio:
access to such awesome sound scapes has completely transformed the feeling of my home environment. I keep these soundscapes on in the background on low during the day whenever I’m home and I use them at night and in the morning to wake up with ease. The soothing lull of natural white noise has been a game changer to my sensitive system. I’m now sleeping better and feeling more relaxed during the day- I even find difficult tasks have become more doable and even fun with these great sound experiences as the backdrop.

I also enjoy the attention to detail put into the track descriptions- you can really feel the care put into this body of works. I work helping other people(living with the affects of trauma or stress) to find effective solutions to improve and increase experiences of daily peace in their lives- and I’m definitely going to be referring them to NaturespaceHolographicAudio!!!

And I love it! I have it on both my iPhone and my iPad. I’ve taken this with me all over the world and cannot sleep without it. I even used it on a cruise ship because I love going to sleep to the sound of waves. On two cruises my cabin-mates didn’t realize we were in the port because of the sound of the waves - lol. I personally have had some issues restoring purchases, not knowing where to click but their support has always been spot on, very understanding and generous with me. It’s no easier than when I had my iPhone 4s. I wish all apps had as good as support as they do. I’ve used different speakers with it and it always sounds consistently well. I found my new Sony speaker is even more realistic than my old JBL. Again, I have use NaturespaceHolographicAudio on a couple of cruises, in several countries and multiple continents and I can consistently sleep no matter where I am thanks to NaturespaceHolographicAudio

I have many sleep sounds from different apps and I always go back to this one! I use sleep sounds every night to get better sleep especially having a big family that makes a lot of noise including my husband whose up at night sometimes. Lol I have bought all the sleep and relaxing noises off NaturespaceHolographicAudio and when I bought a new iPhone and couldn’t get all my sleep sounds restored on my new device and asked for help, they responded back to me and showed me the steps to take. I have had NaturespaceHolographicAudio for around 3-4 years I think now. Again I always go back to NaturespaceHolographicAudio. Since I have all the sounds, I wish they would add many more!!
