Great idea but app has issues

I use and will stay with previous version which works beautifully. This update doesn’t keep settings even after I press confirm and doesn’t fit my iPhone Xs screen. For example, I can’t set a custom day because the menu options are “below” the bottom of my screen.

This is a go-to app but something happened as i was about to use it for Day 9. It crashed.
Checked to see if there is an update today. Yes there is. Applied it. Nothing.
Not opening. {shrug}. O well.
