the worst of the worst

How anyone could screw up an idea this simple this badly, I have no idea. The vast majority of the formulae are of no use to practicing architects, but that hardly even matters because there are errors and inconsistencies everywhere. Many of the formulas don't even use units, rendering them completely useless. Those that do use units, use them inconsistently. Many words are misspelled, the grammar is poor, and the "formula definitions" are often so vague as to be laughable.

I wouldn't trust it to add two single-digit numbers. I deleted it within an hour of installing it.

Mr

I should have read what other reviewers said about these products, but no! I had to waste my money. These people don t have the slightest idea about what they are doing. Just copying some formulas from a book without regard to units or purpose.

Caution

Full of errors, incorrect units and spelling mistakes affecting content - nice idea - poor construction

Good start...

I understand it is impossible to make the apps for every architect needs. I think there are lots of calculations for electrical work but not for HVAC.
I hope there will be some calculations to find rectangular and circular duct size, and the chart for the equivalance between them. Also it will be really nice if it has some information from IBC such as occupant load, outdoor air requirement, air balance calculation, and so on. Then you can give us update information as the building code updates in years. Thanks.

Great, but where are all the missing bits?

For what it does it seems great, however I am missing lots of things. 1) most of the calculations do not indicate the units I am supposed to enter, is the length feet, inches, yards etc. 2) electrical, I would love to see all the NEC tables, for example in the conduit size calc I Ned to be able to select size and cable type from the normal list (16gage THHN) the current calc only works if I know the pursue size of each cable (they are in the tables, why not use it) now I know NEC get updated every few years so if it cannot be include then wy not a new app? I would pay for it; conduit fill, box fill, all the tables from the standard.

Very Nice

It could use some more bells and whistles like code research or ADA information. Over all a must have for the intern and the old man boss!
