i want to cancel my CBS Mobile App

I have trouble with ESPN playing videos sometimes, but I can live with that. I can’t tell you how many times CBS Sports sends out an update with the wrong information. How many times I’ve seen a Dodger update where the final score was a tie…and it’s been happening in the playoffs, which blows my mind. I’ve had other apps, ESPN, ABC News, CNN put out an incorrect notification, then a few minutes later send an update or correction. CBS Sports admit to a mistake and give a correct score? Not happening. Then there are the typos or maybe it’s just poor reporting. The other day the headline was about the Raiders new head coach. Within the first three words of the article they were talking about the head coach of the Ravens, lol, seriously?! I WISH I could post screen shots. Stick with ESPN for your sports, the videos may not always play properly, but at least they get scores right.

Liked the app until I started receiving alerts for everything, not just my favorite teams. According to their customer support, this is an Editorial Staff decision on breaking news and ongoing stories (see below). To stop this over saturation their suggestion is to disable each of my Team News alerts and/or disable all notification for the app. There are other options for my sporting new on the teams I follow. Needless to say I have deleted this app.
“If you have disabled all notifications (League News, Gambling & Odds, Fantasy, Draft, Top Stories) within the CBS Sports app, but have Team News enabled for your My Teams/Favorites, then you may still receive some league (e.g. NFL, NBA, NCAA, etc) notifications.
This is based on our Editorial Staff deeming breaking news or an ongoing story worthy of a notification for some or all teams for a certain league.”

Really wish I could give zero stars. They’ll nickel and dime you even when you have their channel. Fox, NBC, and ABC don’t do that. Complete lack of service. I simply want to stream a game I can watch from home while away, nope, not happening, I would have to pay $9.99 for a monthly service fee on top of what I already pay. CBS execs, have fun in your Scrooge McDuck baths you stingy pieces of s. This is the root of why I’m getting rid of cable. Why am I paying extra if I am already spending so much at the end of the day for the cable? I can watch other channels easily. But CBS doesn’t make it as simple as other networks. I tried phones and different computers as devices for streaming to no avail. All of which said I need to sign up and pay more money.
