Great app

I didn't use any of the paid services yet, but just by always having the driving manual on me and being able to quiz myself at any time was so helpful. Passed my written test the first time and the questions were JUST like practice tests. I feel super comfortable paying for the actual courses now!

False advertising and lies.

I signed up for this course, paying $50 for my drivers ed. When signing up, it told me that once my course was completed, my certificate would be mailed in 2-3 business days. Fast forward... I finish the course and it then tells me I have to print out a document and get it notarized and then fax it in. Where it would then be a 4 day waiting period for the notarized document to be processed and then my certificate would be mailed to me in 7-10 BUSINESS DAYS!!!! Or I could pay $40 EXTRA to have it in 2-3 days. It has been 10 business days and my certificate is no where to be found. The course itself was about 30 hours of almost solely the same things repeated over and over again. If I could get my money back and do a different drivers ed course all over again from a different company I would. This site gives you false advertising and will be a complete waste of your time and money. I seriously regret ever signing up and honestly think this whole thing is a scam just to bleed money from people. Go to a different site and do it somewhere else where you won’t regret spending your money and time on lack of communication and help from customer support and faulty advertising and lies from this company.

Don’t download

DriversEd has been a huge waste of time and money. As soon as I downloaded it I was fine with it, other than the fact that it’s extremely boring and very hard to stay focused. Which wasn’t even the main issue, about four months ago DriversEd wouldn’t let me continue with my progress. It would keep saying that ‘we’ve encountered an issue, you will need to use the browser to continue’, to this day I still can’t use DriversEd without it saying that.
On top of that you cannot see your progress on the website, you also can’t continue learning the rules of the road; you can only take the tests which is useless if you don’t know the info you’re testing over...I sent two emails today requesting a refund so hopefully that happens. Overall this isn’t worth the money.

Please Fix the App

This is great online, but as soon as I use DriversEd , it doesn’t work. The courses to learn rules of the road: doesn’t work. And so when I decide to use the practice tests, it doesn’t work properly either. It thinks I marked a question wrong, when I check back and I clearly remember choosing the correct answers. It’s disengaging when DriversEd tells me I failed the test... when I marked most of the answers correctly anyways? Please fix, and I’ll continue to use DriversEd . Still, the only drivers Ed course that uses an app so props for that.

Can’t move on?

Everything was going good, the lessons where educational and explained good with real life scenes videos fun tests, only the crash while I’m at the last session. It keeps me at a “verify your identity” question and doesn’t let me move on. “24/7” chat does leads to a blank page, their number is strictly voicemail their life worthless to ask a human my question, and email customer service hasn’t gotten back to me, so I have no idea when after spending all day on DriversEd will I finally finish, if I can even finish, starting to think it’s just a waste for your money.

Dissatisfied

DriversEd can be extremely frustrating at certain points in that it randomly resets your progress, leaving it up to you to do entire lesson portions all over again. After having this happen to me four times at this point (and I am only 46% done with the course) this is very frustrating. It also does not take 50 seconds to read a single 2 sentence paragraph. Very inefficient. The only positive thing DriversEd has going is that it is convenient- the reason i gave it 2 stars instead of 1. Sure I don’t have to sit in a classroom for hours on end, but the setup is extremely inefficient.

Amazing apps but Annoying at times

Who else was on a 30 ~ 45 question and you want to go to the previous answer but you click the back button and you have to restart the whole process again. Happened multiple times :(

On any app, the back button is all on the top left corner and muscle memory things to press that. All that work and your whole test disappears.
There should be a CONFIRM button when you press that button.

Also as a bonus, there should be a PAUSE button so you could go back to the questions you were working on. Even though on the real test you can’t “take it walk away and come back”... for this if you need to take an important phone call or anything...

Please this would be amazing. Don’t think it will be too hard to program this.

Very good

DriversEd is very useful and very helpful when it comes to learning about the road and how to navigate it. Although the practice tests are done well and no test repeats questions, some of the questions that involve the parking uphill/downhill with curb/no curb are mixed up. The answer options are usually “turned to the left (away from the street)” when the wheels turned to the left would be towards the street and not away, and vise versa. It’s confusing.

Buggy App, doesn’t work

I chose Drivers Ed because they advertised DriversEd . When I log in, it only pulls up a previous course that I had taken several years back. It does not show the current course that I purchased. Spoke to 3 different reps, got 3 different answers. One asked me to set up a new acct and maybe it would work. The second asked me to log in via Chrome on my phone and maybe DriversEd would learn the new account. Rep #3 said that DriversEd had some bugs and would send my case to tech team. That was 3 days ago and crickets. Do not waste your time.

Not perfect, but great.

For a new and experienced drivers, DriversEd though it may be online as well, is great for anyone learning to drive. It is also great for those driving currently as well. I suggest DriversEd to anyone who is getting or renewing their license. I am very thankful that this was so cheap!

Fine app until you can no longer access your course..

For the past week I haven’t been able to access my dashboard (where the course is located). I tried contacting “24/7 support” and I was forwarded to a recording that said “sorry we are closed” ..so much for that!
Guess I’ll have to use the browser to complete my course.. even though I specifically chose this company because they offered a mobile app.. Not impressed.

Gets you prepared

DriversEd is very good if you are getting your drivers permit. I gives you an understanding of what to expect on the road. Another thing was that it was very clear and the content is geared towards the success on the permit test. I knew how long the classes would take because each slide was timed which was helpful.

Great practice

I passed my drivers test in my first try with a few errors, I enjoy DriversEd because it gives you the errors and it shows flash cards if you only learn by flash cards. Great app and recommend it.

Not 5 stars for only one reason

That reason is that whenever I’m doing a test, I keep accidentally pressing the back arrow when trying to go back to a previous question. When this horns, it exits the test. If this were to be fixed in some way, I would rate this five stars

Easy. Simple . Informative

It’s all about taking notes , common sense & memory ... I thought it would be hard but the whole quiz is in the readings
