- New layout is not intuitive
- Favorites scroll horizontally instead of vertically
- App crashing
- Sonos doesn't have tech support available on the weekends
- Speaker couldn't link to pandora without having my password
I only have S1 products but when I download and install the S1 controller it defaults to S2 and hence I cannot use my system.
I upgraded my SONOS to the S2 controller and purchased compatible (Gen 2) components for my home system. That works OK. I decided to retain the previously purchased S1 (Gen 1) compatible speaker in my office with the S1 controller on my MACOS computer. That worked OK for a while until the latest activation attempt which no longer activates the SONOS S1 system. Instead, I get a message to upgrade to the S2 controller. Has something changed to deactivate the S1 controller in favor of an S2 upgrade? I don't like just throwing away the S1 (Gen1) speaker to buy another S2 (Gen 2) speaker considering that the S1 system worked fine until now. Is SONOS trying to nudge me into the S2 system for all for all my home systems so I no longer have a choice? Seems rather authoritarian to me.
When I use my Sonos s1 ap on my iPhone it no longer lets me search a band, choose an album and then play that album without just randomly picking it's own song from the genre. What to do?
The app Sonos S1 freezes always on the first page and I have tried to fix the problem by following your instructions but nothing works.
