It would be nice if it gets updated more often

It was slightly unintuitive at first, but with a bit of basic prodding and poking, I am now making my own melodies. I can't explain why it is so fun, but it is! I recommend this app as a bit of a time-waster, as you will find that an hour of your free time has vanished into this app as you try to create the next great melody, all while varying the tuning and strumming speed. All those around you will first look in confusion, and then join you in amazement as they find out how fun Tingalin can be!

Update from review below. It's started working after a restart of the iphone and reinstall of the app. Now that it's working I love it! Love creating music that is strange to Western ears. My grandkids can even make pleasing melodies on it.
For the person who asked how to do playback, you shake the phone to play each stored note. First hit the circular arrow to get to the first note of your song.
My one suggestion now is provide a help screen that explains the various buttons on the app. Also, the app description makes it sound like you have to shake the phone to play the instrument. Not so. Just tap the frets. Slide the fretboard up to reach higher notes. Shaking I'd just for playing back a stored song.
If some of these instructions had been made clearer I would have given a higher rating in my first review.
