Reading previous reviews and I can see I’m not the only with this issue and I will be reaching out to apple for a refund for paying for the iCloud feature Idc if it’s been over a year, it clearly doesn’t work and there’s no one to get in contact with. Last app update 7 months ago.

I’ve had the this app app on my iphone for years. I have the iCloud feature turned on in Settings in QuickVoice . In my iCloud settings the this app app is turned on to backup the info on QuickVoice and I had to pay for this feature to be able to back up all my years worth of recordings. Now on my new iPhone after restoring from a backup 4 different times and transferring data from my old iPhone, QuickVoice is not showing any of my previous recordings and it doesn’t show they are loading. I even recorded a test record and it did show. I’m currently using an iPhone 12 Pro Max. My old iPhone is an iPhone XS Max and before that it was an iPhone 6 Plus and an iPhone 4. That’s how long I’ve been using QuickVoice

I’m posting this hoping the developer sees this. I tried to contact through the website, and it goes to a page saying the website is for sale when you submit the form. (Although oddly it’s a different website address with a dash).

Previous rating was 5 stars. I’ve used this since probably since 2012. Easy for a quick recording and does well recording voice, choir, and pipe organ performances. Can choose high quality setting and email to self easily.

PROBLEM: suddenly in the last couple months, it deleted all of my recordings going back 8 YEARS!!! OMG. ALL GONE. 😭
— and it seems the software is deleting my files every single night.
— this is why I tried to contact the developer to see if there’s a setting I need to change which I couldn’t find in my iPhone/this app settings.

Sadly, I think I’m going to have to find a new recorder. But honestly it might be for the best since there was no sorting feature in this and it would organize it haphazardly not even in chronological order. Bummed.

Ps. I have iPhone 10 with updated software. And it worked great on my iPhone 6.

I've been very impressed with QuickVoice and have used it quite extensively for recording meetings that I am the secretary and scribe for. The major drawback that I have is to rewind and re-listen to something that had already been said during the meeting. It would be agreat asset to me if the developer could add a 15 second rewind to the interface. My problem of not being able to accurately go back without going back too far makes my task of transcribing the meetings too time consuming. With the addition of a 15 second rewind, it would make QuickVoice a 5 star app hands down.

this app is an app that I love and at the same time REALLY want it to get a modern update. I really like the ability to email recordings and the ability to manipulate the sound quality. This makes it easy to shrink recordings to send them and to increase the sound quality when in a busy place to get rid of some of the distortion. However, the look of QuickVoice is incredibly dated. It reminds me of the layout in the iPhone 3Gs. In the future, I hope QuickVoice gets a much need makeover and the ability to turn voice to text.

I had about five years’ worth of memos. When I opened QuickVoice a week ago, they had all disappeared. I thought it was an issue with iOS updates, but it wasn’t. QuickVoice has no support, either. I tried to email them via their website and after hitting submit, I was taken to a page whose domain is for sale. I am livid. I had irreplaceable memos on their from a time before I lost my voice. I will never get my voice back and it is looking like I’ll never recover these memos either. I had about 60 saved and they will not load from my iCloud backup. They have no feature to upload from iCloud backups either. I hate QuickVoice.

It has a simple clean interface. It is completely reliable. It also will record as many hours as I want in a single recording. I have recorded tons of lectures over a long period of time and none have ever been dropped. It "is a right arm" to me.

It would be even better if there were an ability to edit, and a 15 second rewind option.

This recorder has good sound quality, however QuickVoice is worthless as it does not allow you to upload or email recordings longer than five minutes. It also makes it impossible to transfer those files to your iTunes during a sync. There is no way to edit a recording that is longer than five minutes, rendering it totally impossible to save any long important recording. It does allow for a $.99 sync and share upgrade, but makes it impossible to buy that upgrade in QuickVoice . Save yourself the time and money and look elsewhere for a good recording app.

I have been trying to contact the people on the website for feedback to ask general information about QuickVoice it keeps giving me a error page so I will post here

I have quick voice with all my nursing lecture material on it. It will not let me email because over 5MB each recording. I am trying to update my Ipad to the most recent update and quick voice is taking up all my storage so i can't. If I uninstall QuickVoice will I loose all of my important recordings? Is there another way to save the recordings without losing the recordings? Please help because I can't download or use my Ipad because of the storage the quick voice is using.

I use to be able to put the name of my recording. Now all of a sudden when I try it the save and cancel buttons are at the top of my page and it won’t allow me to bring it down to tap on it. It’s as if the page is too big for my tablet and it only sticks out far enough for me to see what it is , but not enough for me to tap on it. This is a mess. I can’t go back to what I want to hear without just pushing random recording’s to find it.🙄

I think QuickVoice is good at recording but inability to take the recorded audio files off the phone completely defeats the purpose. The only way to get the files off is to email them to yourself. You can't email large files so if important recordings are 1-3 hours long. You basically lost them. That's what happened with me after I recorded an important business presentation. I couldn't stored anywhere else and later my phone crushed and I lost a very valuable and expensive piece of information. So don't recommend to take QuickVoice seriously if you're looking for a good reliable audio recording app.

Do not buy! False advertising, requires to upgrade to share audio longer than 5 minutes. I made a recording some years ago that is 5 minutes and 5 seconds. Now, it asks me to upgrade when I try to export it. There is not even the way to edit and cut the recording to the first 5 minutes. This is truly unethical and poor business model. If you need to record something don’t rely on QuickVoice, use the Voice Memos, at least you know you will not have to pay for your recordings latter.

I think this is a great app, doesn’t use that much memory or battery when recording. I also use it for meetings, and when transcribing them, rewind is not so accurate so I end up listening to the same thing over and over trying to get to the place I want. If you could improve the rewind/fast forward to be more accurate, it’d be a 5-star app. 15-second rewind as another reviewer suggested would be great.

It's been a while I am looking for a voice record app because I really need it for my study and I like to record the voice of my prof when I am at school. As long as I have this voice record app things gonna be so easy for me. I can record all the details in class and listen to it when I want. Really helpful and highly recommend it

I’ve been using QuickVoice for a long time. I finally switched to a new iPad and when i started using QuickVoice again, all of the voice memos are at random order for some reason. I tried looking everywhere, but there isn’t an option to sort the recordings by date or name. I at least need them to be in order from oldest (up) to newest (down)

Through QuickVoice I can write emails by voice instead of having to type as before. QuickVoice can really smart when my voice memo, not only me but also others. I really enjoy that. Thank the developers have created this application. I would recommend QuickVoice to those around me.

The only reason that I love QuickVoice is, it plays audio in the background (app not on screen). Therefore, making it a good music player. The audio quality is amazing, as well. Simple, straightforward. Not a bunch of extra stuff I don't need to complicate everything. I used it in college to record lectures. You must turn the quality up to its highest to make a really clear audio, this has been an incredibly useful app. I've even used it to record my phone conversations

I love QuickVoice- I have four years of my deepest thoughts and poetry and philosophy on here- but the files get jumbled and I can’t keep track of them. They are not completely in chronological order and files move around when you name them. What appears to be the most recent file is from 2017 while my last post from 5 minutes ago (2019) is hidden somewhere in a large list of files. Fix this for me and I would upgrade to premium!

Great — except it needs a sorting feature. Right after recording, the recording gets lost and I’m forced to search and search through all of my recordings. Huge waste of time. I might need to find a new app that is able to keep files sorted, sadly.

Suddenly QuickVoice has randomized the position of all recordings. They used to be in date order but now are all over the place. I record something and it bounces into the group of older recordings and I can not find it. This is a very stupid decision by QuickVoice developer. Find another app that records voice.
