I signed up for Reflex as like a thing to do when bored. There’s no jobs on there. Either Reflex doesn’t work or it’s actually popular and people already claimed the jobs. Or it just doesn’t work in Connecticut

Promoting ads for cities where you have absolutely no listings available is kinda crazy.

I started to delete Reflex as soon as I realized I had to agree to receive 5 monthly text messages just to start the process. They also ask for your social media handle(s). Before you can see jobs available in your area, you have to enter your work history and upload a profile photo. They also request your social media handles (I chose none). In my case, no jobs were available.

I immediately tried to delete my account and received a message to contact them and fill out a form. After filling out the form I got another message that read ‘We can keep your information as long as the law allows.’

In my opinion, they took my information without ever contacting me for a “call” so basically they stole my information. When I requested that they delete my account, they claimed they would but who knows? This is a sketchy app I think. I would advise against downloading.

Waiting 2 weeks for a “call” , guess it’s bc I didn’t feel out my social media which is none of their business!!!

I enjoyed Reflex when I first started using it. they seemed to be on top of getting available shifts out to me after I regularly picked up open shifts around the Scottsdale/Phoenix area. Then one day I had to cancel a flex, ONE TIME, and the representative sent me an extremely condescending text letting me know that I was no longer a priority and that the cancelled flex would reflect badly on me getting any future flexes. I continued using Reflex even after the mean spirited, clearly upset text that I received from whoever is running Reflex. however, after a terrible experience with one of the stores that is available on this app, Splendid, I reached out to their support team and received absolutely no support from them. in fact, they let me know that there was no way for them to let me know when I was going to be able to speak to the “correct team” who could handle my complaint as they were not aware of the scheduled times the “correct team” would be in. Extremely unprofessional and reflects badly even on them, knowing they endorse a store that discriminates against reflexers based off of gender and race. you would think being one of their “top reflexers” as they had claimed over and over again, a complaint to this extreme would be handled with grace and professionalism. instead, it seemed like an inconvenience to them to have to deal with such an issue. Would literally not recommend Reflex to anyone, and would actually recommend Reflex Poured that has a longer history with higher end retail stores and has a higher overall rating from their users. I don’t see Reflex lasting very long at all.

Never work available I’m in Houston and been on Reflex for 3 months now still haven’t gotten shifts

Looking to pick up shifts but there are never any available.

Extra annoying needs you to be on phone calls you even if your on a flight to confirm the day before an hour before you get there and again when you get there . Very condescending over text and asked away flexes whenever they feel like

Have had Reflex downloaded for over 2 months now without seeing any jobs pop up. I live in LA so a little surprised for being such a big city. Reflex looks nice, but unfortunately doesn’t seem to work.

Somebody just told me good things about a similar app called Poured, so probably will try that next.

I’ve been on Reflex for like 4 months it’s impossible to claim shifts and theirs rarely any shifts available when I’m on it so then what’s the point?

The team members of the stores are awesome and make Reflex very worthwhile! In store experiences were refreshing, fun, and rewarding.

The onboardng process was lovely (after I fought to have my application considered - I essentially received a rejection more or less during the creation of the profile, but kept the wheel squeaky and kept manifesting/talking to them because I needed the job. So that worked out.) On the day I finally got offered an emergency Flex (I guess you only get access to Flexes if they are in dire need at first - and I was informed that in order to SEE available Flexes (shifts) you need to have DONE some already.... This is flawed from the beginning. Still, once I finally got assignedy first shift they were throrough and supportive!

Fast-forward to the S.O.P. of "confirming your shift." This structure of this is very redundant, and laid out Ina way that forces you to fail if you have signed up for shifts early in the morning. I essentially got penalized for not confirming a shift 2 hours in advance from my scheduled time and I feel it's completely unreasonable. The system forced me to forfeit not one, not two, but about TEN future shifts that were assigned to me.
The process involves signed up for shifts days in advance if you see them, which I had done for ample shifts through the next few weeks for stability. Next, it has you confirm through a link or Reflex the night before. I later learned how particular it would become when the morning of the shift, I was "removed from my flex for lack of response/confirmation 2 hours prior to the shift."
I understand wanting to ensure for the store's sake and also the this app team that the worker is going to show up, but asking for a redundant amount of confirmations is unreasonable. The fact that they took 2 of these instances and used it as an invitation to then remove maybe ten or more shifts that I still had scheduled really shocked me. I expected better from the company's end, which didn't inform me of that protocol.
this app, please consider altering your expectations for shift confirmations as well as the negative remarks that your policy has left on myself as a Reflexer. My effort to show up to shifts and perform an outstanding job should be what counts towards my stats that allow me to view more shifts and/or KEEP the shifts assigned to me - not the near impossible system in place that offers no trust or efficiency.

I think the concept is great and I enjoy the flexibility. Reflex is pretty user friendly and the jobs are decently steady.

I am New York based and picking shifts were easy. You work with amazing brands and meet all types of people. The only downside is they text you nonstop for no reason to confirm that you will enter the store.

i really love Reflex because i enjoy working at retailers! payout is super quick and their customer service always responds quickly as well.

So I have worked a few shifts so far and it’s been great! I’m Long Island / NYC based. Easy work, nice staff, fair pay and you get paid in a timely manner. Sometimes you get free shoes or clothes depending on the job. If you live in a busier city, you have more luck, but I live in a suburb outside a busy city and if I wanted, I could probably find 3-4 shifts worth of work on average. Really no downside other than it being sometimes difficult to find shifts.

Shifts go up pretty regularly-work as much or as little as you want, amazing for a side gig. Paid out the next day nothing to complain about.

I live in a populated city so I have no issues finding open reflexes. I got paid 2-3 business days later. Great way to make extra cash!

Really great opportunity to work shifts with top-tier retail brands but with no commitments. Fyi the other 1-star reviews are probably from places where this app doesn't exist - this is an app for working with elevated brands that aren't in smaller cities or towns.

I was very skeptical at first, but I completed my first job (referred to as a flex) and everything was as advertised everything was very straightforward and easy, you are paid out for work the next business day.. I highly recommend

this app is awesome! I moved to Austin and was able to do flex’s every single day until I started my job. The support team is absolutely great and super responsive. I currently do it on my days off and have no issues picking up flex’s when I need the extra money! What a great company!

I love this app, it always give me the opportunity to work with cool stores, with different styles & to work with different cool people too. i actually couldn’t think of a better side job. Reflex is really cool, it shows you the store that are available, the hour available, the pay you will get & it also show you an example of cloth style for that specific store, which is so helpful. Also, this app customer service is literally the best, they are always so kind with me and so helpful, you truly feel pamper all the way through it! Definitely try it!! It’s so worth it ❤️

I started in November 2023. The sign up process was easy and I was able to get started in about 2 weeks from filling out the initial application. Reflex is easy to use, shifts are posted regularly and pay is next day. So far all of my flexes have been pleasant and easy to step into and join the team.

This was the BEST WAY to work part time without the hassle of retail . You decide when or where do you want to work? Is that simple you push the button and you make money. The this app team make sure that if you need anything they are just a text away. If you need any help they respond very quickly back . I wish I knew about them months ago.
