Ghost town

Low community of people just talking to themselves and not actually talking to others.
They just post for likes.
Scammers and sexual deviants looking for children, no moderation and seems the staff is just gone or doesn’t care… still profiting though.

Not a fan of this

Unmoderated, Unsafe, and Abandoned

Huddle is fundamentally flawed due to a near-complete lack of moderation. While the design is basic and unoriginal, essentially a Reddit clone, its biggest failure is the dangerously unsupervised environment it fosters.

The reporting system is ineffective and there are no content filters. This has resulted in a hostile and harmful community where disrespectful, homophobic, transphobic, and racist comments are common. Huddle attracts vulnerable individuals and then fails to protect them, creating an environment that is arguably worse than having no support at all.

There are significant safety concerns, most notably the lack of any age verification, which allows for unsupervised interactions between adults and minors. Furthermore, group chats are openly used for online dating, which is inappropriate for a "venting" platform.

Huddle also appears to have been abandoned by its developers, with no visible updates or community management. Engagement is extremely low.

I do not recommend Huddle. It is a dangerous space for individuals seeking support. Please seek professional help from a qualified therapist or counselor instead.

easily the worst social apps

probably the only social app i can think of that makes you wait DAYS just to CHANGE YOUR PFP???? hot garbage. hopefully i can just forget about it n then remember weeks later and it be unlocked. like, cannot make ts up 💀 terrible, whoever made this call should’ve been fired

This is not okay

Huddle even goes against the moto under its name, “be yourself, share anything”. It is extremely unmoderated except for the new/temp owner censoring any opinion on his use of business tactics on the community. Using people and their emotions to get them to download Huddle out of fear of losing their discord server that was free to run.. Yeah, very warm and fuzzy. Don’t talk about it much or mention his name though, you’ll just be banned. Obviously the community doesn’t feel supported if they’re coming to you with questions, punishing them isn’t really supportive either. There are much better mental health platforms that won’t toy with you then censor you for noticing.. I’m sad this is what it’s turned into.

Ik I might ruin ur five stars but—

So basically…I got Huddle a few weeks ago and now just unlocked the photo ability and pfp…but every time I try to upload my pfp it won’t let me— I also tried on my phone and still— PLEASE TELL ME WHAT IM DOING WRONG! Also a side note. There’s a lot of creeps asking minors to be their sugar baby’s and pay them money and asking for their numbers. Please look into it.

Good for what it is but it’s nothing like TikTok or RedNote

Huddle is more similar to what Vent was and was used as a replacement for Huddle . To market it as something it’s not is awful and with all the drama going on with mods Huddle is quickly on a downward spiral.

No moderators.

I wanted to like Huddle, but it had no moderation and seemingly no updates. I understand the main developer was injured, but surely there must be a team? It doesn’t really feel like it. I hope everyone is okay. Also, there is no option for light mode. And no mutuals posting even though these should have been the first things implemented in the design. These features are always popularly demanded. One more thing is that you can’t change your profile photo until an unpredictable amount of time. For some it’s 3 days for some it’s more than a week.. based on an undefined number of likes/thanks you give or receive. I’m not sure why the team couldn’t just put this on an exact number of days to gain access to a profile photo instead of users guessing. It discourages people from staying when they don’t have individuality.

Yet another dead app

Once again like virtually every single friendship making app here on Huddle Store, it’s just another dead app that nobody is active on. Huddle is literally no different from any of the other apps I’ve downloaded and tried to use. Huddle is useless if you’re trying to find friendships. You’re pretty much talking to air. You’re better off just downloading a social media like discord or twitter at this point.

***Urgent Attention Required***

Huddle is pretty cool. A way to express feels or daily moments. However, most are teens and others are adults. Huddle for sure needs more work but it’s okay. I rate it a three because I only got to use it for what I believe was about a few weeks then it started to crash on my one night. I put my login serval times and it didn’t work. After a few attempts, I assumed it got deleted. So I didn’t bother to use it again.

Its good but. . .

I miss the old categories, there were certain categories that made things a lot easier as well as different channels. Huddle freezes all the time now too. As someone who used Huddle when it first came I out do really miss the old versions and I made a post about it and it seems like a lot of other people do too

in theory having an app centered around community to offer people support is good…but forcing that kind of interaction (like if you want a custom pfp) is very strange to me, and makes it feel very disingenuous.
idk what the community is like, but i’m personally not interested in finding out and i will not be giving this a bigger chance bc it simply doesn’t fit my needs for a venting app.
middle of the road. not bad! but not great

good so far, devs are responsive

its pretty good as a mental health app, im still figuring out the UI as a former vent user. there are some glaringly obvious bugs and features that really need implemented, but it’s early in development and the mods are very perceptive to suggestions/bug reports, so i think Huddle has a good future ahead of it in this regard.

the community is very small right now and i wish it was bigger, especially since you see the same accounts on the hot/new tab when Huddle loads. stuff can reach the hot tab with only ~15 interactions sometimes, so it could be a conversation chain suddenly everyone sees. tell more people to join so this stops happening xDDD

theres a 2k character limit for posts and you can upload images, you can also upload journal posts which are mutual only, otherwise i dont think there are private options. the biggest issues with Huddle for me right now on ios are that you cant copy text or save images from posts, and theres no customizing notification types in your phone settings.

theres also a weird limitation that you have to “spread positivity” in order to earn rights to upload a profile picture/cover photo, which usually takes around 3 days, and requires commenting on other users’ posts. im not sure if the purpose is to encourage user interaction or slow down new troll accounts with innappropriate avatars, but i wish it was implemented in a different way! a lot of people might want to just use a mental health app as a diary and i feel this might dissuade them if they cant upload a unique avatar.

Helpful app

Very good application. It definitely helps with the mental disorder that many suffer. I have anxiety and it is comforting to have people fell the same way like me, and knowing that I am not alone and we will get through it all together. It’s a fun and comfy application to have. Overall, Great!

Help, Please.

I’ll rewrite this review once my problem is solved. Everyone is telling me you can upload a pfp after 3 days, but I’ve been using Huddle for over a week (I’m happy with Huddle and plan to use it for a long time to come), and I still cannot. There is no help center to communicate issues. Please reach out, this app.

Interesting app

I liked using Huddle . It helped me to find more communication and opinions. I liked that you can create threads and comment another opinions.

Great app!

This is a terrific mental health relief app and non-judgmental space that’s easy-to-use, organized, and user-friendly. I love the the ability vent and be myself in this space so I can calm my mood. Huddle is also great in making new friends; which is awesome! The features in Huddle will help me to keep track of my mental health, activity, and is overall very educational. No bugs or glitches, nice!

Just what I needed

I love expressing myself and making friends on Huddle ! Helps me feel less alone.

Awesome app

Install Huddleverse now it’s an awesome app.

Good but needs work and questions

I like Huddle. It's a good idea, I have questions and Some Improvements. 1. Please label all the Tabs in the Tab bar because They are not labeled. 2. How do you make a post or capsul? I can't find the button to make it. If you can place the Create post or Create Capsul button at the top. 4. Please make an Exit button so you can Leave the more option on a post. Thanks good app!

Great Resource

I have struggled with anxiety and depression most of my life. I am always looking for information and tips on dealing with mental illness. It feels good to be part of a group where you meet others having similar struggles. I find it easier to share my feelings in this safe space. I think using Huddle for me is more helpful than seeing a therapist. Huddle is well laid out and user friendly. It is stable and fast as well. I like how it doesn’t take up noticeable mounts of my battery life.
