I’ve seen a lot of absurd things in SmartRemoteControlTVCast Store but this may take the cake . That’s $336 a year for a freakin REMOTE! I mean it’s almost laughable how ridiculous this is. And quite frankly, anyone who actually pays this is equally as insane and I don’t feel sorry for you. Because that’s just dumb. Apple should remove SmartRemoteControlTVCast from its library for blatantly robbing customers. Because that’s what you’re doing. You should be ashamed of yourselves for charging such an outrageous amount. I have paid for apps before . So this isn’t about thinking it should be free. I’ve paid up to $30 for an app. But you know what ? That $30 was a one time charge and SmartRemoteControlTVCast did WAY more than stupid remote ! Get real!

Let’s just make a remote that subscription based. That doesn’t even make sense.

U have to have a smart tv for this to work. Ur tv has to be internet compatible! And super expensive!!

The positive reviews must be bought or doctored because SmartRemoteControlTVCast is terrible. It does it’s job after it extorts the money from you. And if you cancel the free trial or your subscription SmartRemoteControlTVCast will lock itself even if you still have time on it. Use Universal TV remote by Kraftwerk and save your money and time.

This is the second app that has done this and popped the premium subscription! I don’t want this take SmartRemoteControlTVCast off or fix it.

I downloaded SmartRemoteControlTVCast, it gave me a 3 day, free trial. It’s $7.00 a week so I wanted to cancel it before the 3days. It said, I could cancel and still get the 3 days, so I went ahead. It immediately stopped working. Thanks for the 30 minutes of free use of your app.

Barely works with my tv so I cancelled my trial. It said that I would still have access until the trial was over but instead it completely kicked me out. It’s also very expensive for what you get.

If you pay 3 dollars a week it’s not worth it. If you can’t afford a remote then you can pay 3 dollars a week for the remote. It’s not worth it. It adds up. Just get a normal remote

SmartRemoteControlTVCast only works if you have a TV that is already set up and connected to Wi-Fi. Will not work for a new TV or Samsung TVs that are connected to Wi-Fi.

Absolutely awful app. Doesn’t even work. Even more gross they are willfully to bill you for it! I wouldn’t download again even if it was 100% free.

My kids are constantly fighting over and hiding the remote. I thought this would be a great app to have. I downloaded it only to find it costs $6.99 PER WEEK. That’s crazy. Absolutely not.

Got SmartRemoteControlTVCast because I thought I would be able to turn the TV on. But it doesn't work if the tv isn't turned on. I have to physically go out and buy a remote because the dog chewed mines up. So I payed $6.99 and won't be using it.

Why am I paying for an app I don't even have???? suddenly I'm paying money every week and it says my subscription is active. I NEVER BOUGHT A SUBSCRIPTION I Never EVEN OPENED SmartRemoteControlTVCast LET ALONE NEW IT existed now my money Is GONE over some wonky remote app…wtff???

Description says it work without WiFi with InfraRed capable phones. So it doesn’t have the option to pair a tv using IR sett the codes or searching for it. So it is only WiFi remote.
But because app description says it does so, and doesn’t that’s why I rate 1 star. I lost time installing and filling the trial for no reason.

I downloaded SmartRemoteControlTVCast in hopes it would do what it says. It doesn’t work at all on any of my tvs and they are all compatible. I followed instructions to a T and nothing.
This is most definitely not worth $7 a week. Not for me anyways.
I have been trying to get it to stop charging me with no luck and have had to email support.
If they refund me and stop charging my card, I will update this review and put 5 stars for quality customer service.

So irritated with myself for paying for this without reading comments. My dog chewed up my directv remote more than once so was looking for something to use on my ipad. This does not locate my wife though my tv and iPad are both on the same Wi-Fi. Doesn’t give you any help either in resolving the issue.

There’s no way to get out of signing this company isn’t right and I’m contacting Apple and it that doesn’t work, my Family Lawyer!!!

First time trying like 3 different apps there’s wasn’t nothing wrong with my tv no signs or signals I turn the channel on my tv and it goes black don’t use none of these apps not even Vizio go online please no home apps. They hack and put virus in your tv I have multiple Vizio had them for years until this good luck

Don’t even connect

I go on SmartRemoteControlTVCast of yeah a free trial I get charged of course I do and don’t even get me started once I got it it doesn’t even connect to my tv this is such a scam of a app learn some respect of people and stop stealing and scamming people I’m talking to the inconsiderate people who work and make these apps

I can’t really say if this would work for the tv. This remote doesn’t take the place of the original remote unless your tv is already set up. The reason I wanted this remote is because the remote that I have doesn’t work.

Not a fan

Tried to download a remote but can not connect the tv to Wi-Fi without a remote this remote only picks up the tv able to get Wi-Fi doesn’t help

The whole point of using this is the remote broke, yet it wants me to use the remote to allow access.

Won’t allow you to use the volume up volume down button during the free trial. Until you pay there’s not really a point of a demo.

Confused

Overly sensitive and what kind of remote charges $8 a month and can’t control the volume. I’ll just buy a remote at Walmart and save myself the trouble

i got SmartRemoteControlTVCast because i lost the remote to my samsung tv. not sure how SmartRemoteControlTVCast works since the issue was that i had to approve of SmartRemoteControlTVCast on the tv, but the only way to do that was with the remote that i did not have. i’m sure SmartRemoteControlTVCast itself was good, but this is a big problem for other people in this same situation.

My little ones had misplaced the tv remote and i couldn’t switch the tv off so i downloaded SmartRemoteControlTVCast and it works amazingly from my iPhone. So far so good. Highly recommend this one.

This was a easy and quick resolution to an everyday problem. But i don’t need a subscription 😳🙌🏼

SmartRemoteControlTVCast is great comes in handy when original remote is lost and it meets all my needs perfectly

The developer is really insane with the pricing, costing more than some cable services that come with a remote. A lot of functions like volume control missing for simple hardware like Amazon fire stick. Terrible experience and they have some nerve with such a high subscription.
