StoryLoom - Read Chapters Reviews

It has a lot of stories and I hope you’ll keep adding more because I love spending my time reading them especially with choices in them. The only problem is when I open another app and then go back to the story I was reading, it doesn’t load anything so then I have to close and open it again and it makes me start the episode all over again.:/I also tried StoryLoom because I also play choices and it’s so far doing good other than that.

StoryLoom randomly crashes while you’re playing. I’ve sent messages to the devs twice on StoryLoom and online and they’ve all gone unaddressed which is unfortunate because the stories are really interesting. Too bad you can’t enjoy them.

DO NOT DOWNLOAD IN StoryLoom IN ITS CURRENT STATE. you would only be wasting your time.

Can you make the text bigger please? The words are so tiny that’s hard to read narration,dialogue,Choices.
Making the text bigger/larger would make for a better reading experience!🙂

Hey I’m on a conference

I tried writing my review before, but I’ll try again. My friend is an android user and loves StoryLoom . I’m an iPhone user. I downloaded it today, created an account and found a story in interest in reading. I made it through chapter one, but chapter two won’t open. I tried twice to use the help center, and even had someone respond that they were willing to help, but nothing happens. I even took a screenshot, but I know I was talking to support the first time around. I don’t know what to do. I hope the little kinks can get fixed. I would like to move on and read the second chapter…the story is pretty good.

It’s similar to Episode, in the sense that it’s an interactive story. There are a lot of things that need work, like the character animations, which are lacking, the sizing of backgrounds, like magazines that are too zoomed in or how the text on the phone is just a in game text box, or the weird way sentences will carry over into other text boxes with just a single word. It’s in an awkward position right now, as it needs work, but I like what it’s offering and trying to do. It’ll be worthwhile to check it out and see it’s if your thing, or to see how far it’s progressed from its current state.

Found StoryLoom recently and am really impressed! Lots of variety in both authors and genre. Found some great stories. Excited to continue exploring. Highly recommend!

Started to play and was intrigued with the story for hours. Great app!! Looking forward to reading and playing more stories in the future.

As a English learner, I think the story is really attractive and help me improve my English with lots of fun.

I like this app but it keeps crashing and taking the coins but not letting me read the chapters please fix it

Won’t open chapter 9 in Queen by Night. Good story.

I loved this story but it kept crashing every couple chapters or so and I had redo them. That was annoying! However I liked everyone and said yes to all of them for second dates. I was disappointed at the end bc when I went to go on a lot of the dates, it said either that I ended it early or decided to be friends which I didn’t. I stayed thru the entirety of each date, kissed them and told them all I wanted to see them again. I really wanted to go on a second date with each person then reset my choices. Until I went on a second date solo date with everyone, I couldn’t choose who I wanted to be with. This was because some of the people I liked somewhat but was still unsure. As a result the second date would have really helped me decide. Now, I’m a little concerned that this might be a thing in this app in which I make multiple choices and it can’t remember I made them. This was a little discouraging because you did such a good job with choices and I was expecting the same here

Hi new user here. I started a book on StoryLoom. Read all the way through. Loved the graphics and everything but one problem is that this app app keeps closing on me when I start the last chapter. Please fix.

StoryLoom has some interesting stories and good potential, but it crashes every few chapters then won’t let me continue on the chapter I was kicked off of. I had to restart one story from the beginning. There are also some glitches in the chapters themselves. I was reading a story and the character images disappeared and all that was left were the dialogue boxes. Sometimes the whole background goes white.

It’s very slow at loading

Coming from a person who was in doubt about this game who thought it would be another money grubbing game where all the choices cost diamonds.. I WAS SO WRONG! This is BY FAR WAYYYYY better than Episode, Chapters, and all those other money hungry games! This game not only has AMAZING stories where your choices ACTUALLY matter but the fact that THERE ARE NOO DIAMONDS all choices are free and you start off with an INCREDIBLE amount of coins (to unlock chapters) that are renewed EVERYDAY!! This game is truly just so mind blowing.. I thought I’d never find an interactive story game that wasn’t money hungry but hey… never say never.

I was super excited to try this, cause I’m a die hard fan of episode!! But then was severely disappointed because literally NONE of the stories load. It just sits on this permanent loading screen, hopefully they can fix this! Unless this is some data scam app or something then ohp… the damage is already done😭

Love how you have to go on the website to create a story, but I wish you guys would allow people to customize names and character clothing options, for creators, who want to add that in their game. Edit: also please allow creators to customize children,babies or newborns and Teen? and pregnancy and animals. And also update the clothes for the creators, like for an example hospital clothes so we can put on our characters. And like how on your website you make it easy for creators to make stories😄😊👍keep it up! Good work.

They should have waited to launch this until the bugs were fixed. It has potential but ever since the last update all I get is a blank white screen and I can’t do or see anything. When I contacted choices they sent me to a story loom pixleberry help site that also crashed. Not worth the time if you ask me. I am not going to keep chasing down support when nothing gets fixed and where they send me won’t even load. They really could have a good thing going if the bugs and crashes didn’t stop you from playing. Before the last disaster update the game kept crashing every few chapters and repeating chapters. Do not download and waste your time. All of the responses I see from them is a copy and paste response so they clearly are not concerned. The support team won’t help fix it anyways.

I can definitely see the potential but as of right now it just isn’t very good the lack of music and faceless characters along with little to no sound effects it just feels empty

Allow the reader to customize the characters!!!!!

I be love StoryLoom and I love the choice making and how it’s free but the only thing about it is that it crashes every time you restart a chapter and won’t let you load the book

StoryLoom doesn’t want to work sometimes and I get stuck on chapters in the story. Done tried restarting the game. Update my iPhone. Restarting the story. I even tied getting ahold of someone for help. No one has even answered me back. It’s a good idea for a app but needs a lot of work. I really want to read some of these stories too but I can’t :(

I normally won’t do negative reviews but I love this company and I am beyond disappointed. I can’t play any of their stories because StoryLoom won’t process the purchase of a story. It just spins in place. Then if I cancel out and just close the program, I come back and the credit is gone but no book.

Great story telling and customer support was fantastic. Would definitely recommend you give this game a try!

super interesting stories and love that you don’t have to pay to play!

unfortunately, the stories crash frequently and i’ve had instances where i would make a certain selection in a chapter, and when i start the next, the storyline follows a different selection.
super confusing to play through again

If you want to restart the story it won’t unless I uninstall app and reinstall each time. Another issue is you have to wait for writers to update sometimes months or never so you get excited about a book then nothing. I have seen some great first chapters that I get excited about but then never a second there should be a requirement to at least finish
A story once it is started.

I love the stories but it’s hard to enjoy them when you can’t pick up where you left off because it is constantly crashing. In the first two hours I have had to redownload StoryLoom 3 times because it can’t reload ONE story. Very frustrating and almost has me at the point where I no longer care and will not continue.

I love the whole concept of StoryLoom , but I wish character customization was an option, like on Choices, in the near future. 🫶🏾

Number one is the fact that it takes too long to switch from tab to tab trying to go from like your bookmarked stories to browse other stories. And also the fact that just some of the stories take way too long to load I’ll update with better view once these kinks get fixed.

I’m enjoying “Queen of the Night”. It’s my first story on this app. However StoryLoom itself can make it difficult. It doesn’t handle going from wifi to cellular well at all. I have to re-read chapters in order to advance the story. An easy fix would be allowing the reader to unlock chapters manually. this app also crashes at the end of chapters. I’m only 13 chapters into my first story & this has happened. Dev team has some work to do. Fix this and StoryLoom will be 5 stars.

I really like this game the minute I started playing that is until I got to my 6th chapter it wouldn’t load next thing I know I’m sent back to my home screen so I got back on and experimented a bit a played another story and it loaded so I went back to that same story and the result was the same
