While I very much appreciate that Big Finish makes DRM free MP3s of all purchases available on their web site BigFinishAudiobookPlayer is such a great way of enjoying my library. Pairing my phone with my car makes my daily commute a journey into limitless fantastic worlds. BigFinishAudiobookPlayer is very careful to keep track of where I leave off as I pull into park so I can pick up again at the end of the day. BigFinishAudiobookPlayer is also great when you have pre-ordered a release so you can download it right away the moment it is made available (great use of notifications!). The search feature of BigFinishAudiobookPlayer is also powerful & easy to use (especially if you are like me & have purchased releases across many different ranges). A very polished app experience that only gets better with time.

I use BigFinishAudiobookPlayer a lot to listen to my many Big Finish audio dramas. I have limited space and wouldn’t be able to store that many CDs in my apartment.
BigFinishAudiobookPlayer is very user friendly.
I can download dramas from the “Purchased” page to my phone or iPad to the “Devise” page and then delete it from the “Devise” page when I’m done. There is no way I could store all my dramas on my phone/iPad because they don’t have enough memory.
I like the “Details” page, which gives drama synopses and such.
The “Tracks” page lists the tracks. Once selected, the track is easy to use with the ability to play/pause and the ability to go forward or backward in 30 second increments. One can also slide forward and backward in larger increments by pressing & sliding along the bar that shows one where one is in the drama.
There is also a “Bonus” page on some dramas for subscribers for things like extended interviews tracks or bonus Short Trips or music or PDFs.
I love BigFinishAudiobookPlayer and recommend it highly to all Big Finish customers.

BigFinishAudiobookPlayer is a fantastic way to access the downloads you’ve purchased from Big Finish. My only complaints stem from the somewhat clunky feel you get when accessing releases by range. I also dislike how the bonus features are grouped with the story. I’d rather they were a separate file since I want to listen to the story now (and know how much time remains) and the bonus stuff later. I’d also love if you could change the rewind/fast forward times to 15 seconds as I prefer that.
The actual listening experience is otherwise very nice. BigFinishAudiobookPlayer lets you know how much time is left in the current track and the over all story. You can select individual tracks from the listing or use your finger to scrub through the entire thing. Very convenient to download stories on the go.

I have been a United States Doctor Who fan since I was around seven years old. big finish is the reason that Doctor Who made it back in to the television once again! the quality of the recording’s are outstanding! BigFinishAudiobookPlayer is very accessible for the blind and the files sound good as downloads, I didn’t think they would but they sound great! I don’t
say this lightly as I am a professional recording engineer and teach music technology at the university level!
I am also totally blind so am qualified to discuss the accessibility and sound quality on that front as well!

It's about freakin time! Thank God. I have let my Big Finish go to the wayside because I could not listen in the go but now I'm catching back up.
My only complaint is that the filter function can be annoying when going from looking up material in the cloud to flipping over to what has been downloaded on you device. I would rather have my device just show everything I have downloaded instead of having it show just the stuff that is set for the cloud filter at the time. It makes it hard to tell what has actually made it tell what has actually made it to my phone while still searching the cloud for more content.
Oh, and it freezes up sometimes but or very short periods of time.

It was getting cumbersome keeping all my BF audios organized on my iPod Classic. This is much easier, and being able to sort by release date, purchase, etc is very handy.

My only suggestions would be to be able to play audios while streaming rather than waiting for the whole book to download. Also, I have a rather large library so it would be nice to have something which displays a description of the audiobook before download, like a long press on the title or an extra button. Thanks.

Love BigFinishAudiobookPlayer. I love that purchases are instantly available here and you can listen right from your device or connect it to Bluetooth. My only wish is that you could search/explore non-purchased titles on BigFinishAudiobookPlayer as well. The website on a mobile device is a bit clunky and being able to browse and sample the entire library on the same platform where you listen to your purchases would be wonderful (even if you still had to go on the website to purchase them)

Overall, I have to say that the Big Finish app is a great way to embark on audio adventures whether from great cultural fandoms like Doctor Who or more in-house originals. The sound design, editing, effects, and acting are top notch and help the imagination paint a very vibrant image of what’s being described.

What keeps BigFinishAudiobookPlayer from receiving 5 stars is the limited way in which you organize the audio adventures in your list. You can’t organize them alphabetically; or in Doctor Who’s case, by Doctor. Despite this, it doesn’t lessen my enjoyment or experience of these works.

It’s wonderful to have BigFinishAudiobookPlayer as a way of downloading and playing purchases. My enjoyment is impaired because of the half-second gap between the end of one track and the start of the next. Very annoying if the track break comes literally in the middle of a sentence or word.
Can this be patched? I know Apple resolved this for its player.

BigFinishAudiobookPlayer is great! I'm glad I am able to listen to my Big Finish audios just like my other book/music apps while I'm driving! My only thing is, as I increase my stock of audios, I can't remember which ones I've listened to and which ones I haven't. So, if I listened to it, and deleted it off my phone, it just goes back in the pile. I know some of this is because my memory is bad, but it would nice to have an option to mark the audios I've heard.

BigFinishAudiobookPlayer is normally amazing but ever since the last couple updates it's not been working properly. I keep getting a message telling me I don't don't have enough storage to download certain stories despite the fact that I have more than enough, which never happened prior to the update, and the stories I can download get up to 100% then BigFinishAudiobookPlayer immediately crashes. I love BigFinishAudiobookPlayer please fix it

I've been a big fan of Big Finish for some time now, and BigFinishAudiobookPlayer is an easy way to keep the stories I want to listen to handy.

While you can't make purchases through BigFinishAudiobookPlayer (yet?), as soon as you have bought a story through the website, it's available to download from the cloud. Easy-peasy!

I love BigFinishAudiobookPlayer, it makes it very easy to enjoy my audio adventures no matter where I am. Each update to BigFinishAudiobookPlayer has made it better, you can search your collection by A variety of things. The one thing I would like is a personal recommendation system on BigFinishAudiobookPlayer ; I find all the options a little daunting. Having suggestions of what to listen to based on previous purchases might be nice.

This is a great app to listen to Big Finish Audios at high quality. I know have 2 small qualms
1) I wish there were more methods of organization.
2) I wish there was a way to view the store and maybe even offline. At the very least a link to the Big Finish Website would suffice.
Other than these two smalls things, I love the high quality sound.

BigFinishAudiobookPlayer is great, and Big Finish has an excellent range of audio dramas, including, of course, Doctor Who. If I had any requests, it would be the inclusion of a Home Screen widget for iOS so I can organize it along with my other audio apps. Also, an in-app store would be nice to have, but it is not a necessity.

I love being able to hear new adventures from classic Doctors. 4,5,6,7,8, and 10’s adventures are as fun and often better than their tv episodes. Their takes on classic tales are amazing as well. Big Finish’s “Frankenstein” is incredible. I love Big Finish audio adventures better than GraphicAudio. Better stories without the constant narration of GraphicAudio.

Very nice and Free App. Easy downloads. All features needed for easy play. This is a newer version that has taken feedback into account.

Found myself on the road with a laptop that has no disc drive. With BigFinishAudiobookPlayer I can play my BF adventures.... whether I bought them as disc or downloads.

I purchased a season pass? For the main range. I received around 5 episodes - but very late after they were released - and now, the last 2 releases have yet to come thru! I am referring to a tandem application of Big Finishes 2 main apps.
If I was getting what I paid for, I would be perfectly happy w both apps.

The Big Finish audio studios produce spin off shows from the Doctor Who Universe as well as reboots of other, mostly British, sci fi and horror properties. The full cast audio dramas with sound effects are very immersive. BigFinishAudiobookPlayer does a great job of organizing and playing the content you have purchased on their website. Highly recommended for Who-vians.

After avoiding the Big Finish app because of bugs and breakdowns in their first couple of versions, I'm happy to say the waiting was worth it. Everything does what it is supposed to with no problems or kinks. So listening to the best produced audio drama on the planet is even easier. Thanks.

I've been listening to Doctor Who from Big Finish, and it's handy having everything in one place, and not mixed up with other audio files.

The big thing missing is the ability to purchase through BigFinishAudiobookPlayer . You can't even review the full catalog to see what your missing. For that you gave to go to the website on a browser.

BigFinishAudiobookPlayer was reworked last year. Since then I have been pleased with its functionality. I have had no issues. It is simple in that it shows your purchases in the cloud as well as what you have downloaded.

The only thing keeping it from a 5 star rating is the ability to browse and purchase directly from BigFinishAudiobookPlayer .
