It went free, but because AALocker requires you to begin a free trial to get started, you can’t actually claim the offer. During a trial there are no purchase options so you cannot purchase the lifetime version. That is remarkably poor design, and is the only app I can think of that does it.
Beware! Even after I deleted it, AALocker still exists in my ScreenTime settings. I can’t remove it completely from my phone.
