I’ve had the MLM2Pro since it came out and my personal take on it is, you’ll hate it if you use it long enough.

I was shocked at the value the first month. There were a few bugs but it was manageable. After many months i absolutely hate it. The dev team constantly roll out features but it has many bugs and they break something new EVERY TIME!

Being a software engineer I can tell you this is purely due to incompetence. This typically happens with bad company culture where they have dedicated QA. I decided to check the team out on LinkedIn and what do you know - fully dedicated QA team for testing.

With constantly missed shots, app crashing, app freezing, and for the love of GOD WRONG ELEVATION ALL THE TIME, this has become the first product I’ve ever hated to my core.

Literally anything is better than this product.

Absolutely fantastic product with a pretty good app. The main pain points is that you have to set the playback speed whenever you change a single setting! This is very annoying since people are using this for swing analyses. Please, make the play back settings part of the global state instead of local . Any changes should be a key value update verses a complete reset. It would be nice to enable editing the club for a recording too! I forgot to change from a 4 hybrid to the driver and it corrupts the dataset. Otherwise, wow - hands down the best value and possibly better than 1-3 k options too.

While this is a great product for what it offers when it is working properly, it simply just not work properly on a consistent basis due to a VERY poorly performing app. I had gotten fairly used to the constant freezing and longggg load times which has been a recurring issue for the lifetime of the product and is a tremendous annoyance, but now that RapsodoMLM2PRO is force quitting at a high frequency the device is currently worthless….Insanely frustrating for a product that has now been on the market for almost a year and a half and one that I have already sunk $400 in (not including the retail cost of the hardware), just to receive a headache in return. Dealing with RapsodoMLM2PRO is more frustrating than a shank!

Bugs happens with any new product, and I’m trying to be patient while a fix is made. RapsodoMLM2PRO won’t sustain a connection to my MLM 2 unit and when I do get a connection I can’t update the firmware to use it - RapsodoMLM2PRO crashes every time. I’m up to date with my iOS version and have tried what Rapsodo’s support team has suggested to others since they haven’t replied to me yet. Bottom line - I’m sure it’ll get fixed but I’m very disappointed in the customer service and the overall launch of a product that was so hyped up by the golf community. Update - it’s been 2 weeks since I got my unit and despite a pretty good first exchange with rapsodo support, I was passed on to someone else who I’m lucky to get a response from within 48 hours. Still doesn’t work, still won’t connect. If rapsodo monitors these reviews please give your customers some kind of update or give us something to keep us from returning your $700 paperweight. Because that’s all it is right now.

Update 5/4 - new app version does not work. Customer service/tech support is useless. Rapsodo get your house in order. Shameful.

Same as other reviews have described… I was eager to get the much anticipated MLM2PRO when I was “lucky” enough to order one before they sold out almost immediately on early launch. Unfortunately, the MLM2PRO will not connect to my Wi-Fi (I work from home and have higher tier high speed internet, a high end modem, and mesh router system, with no issues connecting the countless other devices in my home). As a result, this product is virtually useless and non-functioning. I have tried downloading, deleting, and re-downloading RapsodoMLM2PRO , along with several other recommended “fixes” I had to search for online. Unfortunately, Rapsodo does not provide phone customer support for golf products, so I’m stuck waiting on an email reply from Rapsodo, after emailing them for help. Meanwhile, this comes with a “free” 1-year premium membership, valued at $199/year after the first year, as part of the overall purchase price, which is wasting days going unused while I wait on support hoping they can get this product to work. Do yourself a favor and wait for them to fix the bugs before purchasing.

Connection issues are the biggest problem. It simply doesn’t work when on the home WiFi and works intermittently when on direct WiFi. Nowhere near as stable as garmin r10. When connection is lost you have to force close it and usually the 3rd part app if you’re using that.

E6 connect is the best version of the simulation and it is almost unusable because of connection issues. Takes a long time to get good connection. It usually fails midway through and you need to force close both apps to get it going. This is using direct connect and modifying the WiFi connection to have no restrictions and turning off my home WiFi.

With the rapsodo simulator, there is no multiplayer! There is no landscape mode. The courses don’t have any slope data, all lies play the same (rough/fairway), you can be a little off the fairway and it calls you out of bounds. The graphics are very slow and takes too long to get to your next shot. The algorithm on shot roll is pretty off.

The range data is pretty good, but no landscape mode. If you’re doing in the non-simulator version, you get better data, but you don’t see the ball flight. No multiplayer. Only 4 stats displayed at a time and nowhere to see all the stats in a chart view.

I really wish it worked better because I love what it should be able to do. The pictures of your swing and the ball impact is pretty cool.

1. RapsodoMLM2PRO and thus the MLM is dependent upon a solid network connection. I use a net and a MLM on my iPad in my garage and the experience was terrible until I put a wireless access point in the garage with me. Once that happened performance shot up and the thing was a blast to use.

2. The support for iPad is very welcome but RapsodoMLM2PRO ’s refusal to support landscape mode and remain fully featured is a miss. Portrait mode as the only supported model is brutal, especially when using the simulator. If Rapsodo could get this corrected not only would the iPad experience be better but the AirPlay possibilities to put the sim up on a tv or a projector would be endless.

Been using the launch monitor and app for a month now on the range. Awesome capabilities, and for the price the unit itself provides good data that is generally accurate.

RapsodoMLM2PRO has potential but really needs some work! Especially considering the subscription cost!!! At $200 a year, this is far from meeting my expectations!

Primarily there are syncing issues. I use the RapsodoMLM2PRO on my iPad, but then would like to review my sessions later on my phone. But the sessions never transfer from the cloud into my other device even though both are signed in.

I contacted support, they replied quickly and told me to end a session, let RapsodoMLM2PRO sync, then close and open again - that may force the sync. It doesn’t seem to help. They said it was an issue that would be fixed in an upcoming update. Fingers crossed.

Occasionally RapsodoMLM2PRO loses connection during a session but it’s not too bad.

Until this gets fixed it’s really limiting how useful this is to me… the software guys need to put in some overtime to get this fixed!!!

I’ve had good luck with connectivity but, having put a lot of time into my garage “range”, complete with 10’ wide screen and projector, the iPhone app won’t go into landscape mode. That means, on my 10’ screen, only the middle few feet has the image because RapsodoMLM2PRO won’t turn from portrait. I got two replies; the first said they’re working on it and the other said it will do it with a tablet.
Some of RapsodoMLM2PRO ’s functions will display in landscape but they are ones I really don’t care how I see them. One would think the range and course play would be what they’d want to concentrate on first.
That said, the accuracy is spot on, which is great. I’d just like users to display as they see fit, not how the developers want them to. Kinda maddening.

RapsodoMLM2PRO has improved so much since it first was released. Rapsodo keeps bringing updates that really improve the experience. The target range is very helpful and the updates to the courses make the experience much better. Would love to see them use the regular range as the practice mode. Practicing without seeing the flight of the ball when using the net mode or without seeing all the available statistics that one can see in range mode, is what makes RapsodoMLM2PRO 4 stars for me. Hopefully they make that change while improving the graphics on the courses and RapsodoMLM2PRO can be 5 stars. As far as helping your game, it definitely helps, so the review or the 4 stars, is more about RapsodoMLM2PRO experience.

Love the MLM Pro! Been game changer for me. However, after last week’s update my distances are too long. I hit the night before the update and the night after and there was a clear difference. My 6 iron, for example, is going 20 yards farther. This is on the normal range, not the new target range. I know the target range has elevation change. But the normal range should be the same elevation I believe. I live in Utah so I set it at a high elevation, maybe something changed in the elevation calculation this update? I’d gladly change this to a 5 star review if this issue gets fixed. I was looking for a place to log bugs for the dev team but wasn’t able to find. Let me know if there is somewhere I can log it to give more info. Thanks for a great product!

The latest Target Practice addition is awesome! The graphics continue to get better and better on the simulations which is great. I had been just using my AirPlay mirrored iPhone to cast to a rokued projector which worked pretty good. But here recently I just upgraded to one of the new M4 iPad Prods and it is a game changer. More real-estate for stats, super smooth ball flight and simulation even when air-playing to projector. If GSPro ever came to iOS and integrated with mlm2pro ‘i.e. Unity should be able to build for iOS’ this would hands down be the best setup you could imagine. Another cool idea would be to integrate or build with one of those swing analytic services, like sparrow. Great job Rapsodo team!

If you’re on the fence, just do it! I’ve had the MLM2PRO for a little over a month now and it’s been a total game changer for me. It’s simply amazing, I don’t know what else to say about it. The performance of this thing is on par with launch monitors that are 20-30 times the price of the Rapsodo, and there is nothing in this price range that even comes close to matching the features or accuracy of the Rapsodo. I love the combines and the simulation features which is what I use the most. I also love how portable this is and how I can bring it to the course or range with me with ease. Connection has been flawless for me every time I’ve fired it up. The quick connect feature they released recently has made things even easier and I’m up and hitting balls super quickly each time I turn this on. The Rapsodo team also seems like they are constantly making updates and adding new features at no added cost with the included membership. I’m a tech guy and I love how Rapsodo is disrupting the launch monitor industry; they’ve absolutely got the big boys on their heels! I don’t think there is a launch monitor company that is more in tune with their customers than Rapsodo, and that gives me extreme confidence that they’ll continue to improve and offer the things that we are asking for, and which has only been available to tour pros or one-percenters in the past. So I say again, what are you waiting for?! Just do it, and don’t let your game slip this winter! 😀🏌️‍♂️

I recently purchased the Rapsodo MLM2PRO Launch Monitor and have been able to learn so much more about my golf swing. When I take it to the range I know that the time I spend is put to good use due to the detailed data, video playback and insight that comes with every shot. With 13 different metrics, I am able to dive deep into my game on a whole new level. With the new impact vision, I can actually match up my body and club face together. It is probably the best feature on the MLM2PRO. Not only am I able to use it on the range, but I can access all the features when hitting into a net or enclosure. It is crazy to play my local course within the 30,000+ simulated Rapsodo courses. It was also nice to get 5 free courses from E6 with the MLM2PRO.

Rapsodo combines was also a highlight feature of the MLM2PRO because I can actually practice with a purpose, picking out 2 individual yardages I am working on, as well as my driver. It was amazing to see the combines report and how accurate it was to my handicap. It also showed that I needed to work on the specific yardage and where my game lacks. The product is lightweight and easy to set up. RapsodoMLM2PRO has an extremely user friendly interface to help golfers get dialed in. Super stoked to have this product in my corner as I continue to play the game I love. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an accurate, affordable and insightful launch monitor/golf simulator.

I’ve had the MLM2PRO for over 6 months now, and have been very impressed with this unit! It was great out of the box for the most part, but the team at Rapsodo has continued to put out firmware and software updates to make it better and better! It is now to a point where the unit is as good as units that cost 20X the amount! It is easy to setup and use at the range, or as a home simulator! The benefit to my game of being able to have the confidence in the numbers for each of my clubs, can't go over looked! My favorite feature is having the built in simulated courses as well as the ability to use 3rd party software including E3 and Awesome Golf! It’s like having a professional fitting studio that fits inside of your golf bag! I would recommend this product to any skill level of golfer, from beginner to professional!

I have owned the MLM2PRO since its initial release and when I received it I
was immediately impressed with the professional packaging and setup
instructions - which were extremely simple.

I used the range feature exclusively for the first few months. It can be
used indoors and outdoors. The data points it offers are amazing for such
an affordable launch monitor, 13 to be exact and that is increasing with
their impressive new releases. Some, not all of the data points are carry
and total distances, side carry, club and ball speeds, spin rates and launch
and descent angles.

These data points have helped me go from a mid 80s golfer to a low to mid
70s golfer! I should also mention the multiple cameras are a great help
showing my shot shape and swing. If you see the video I have attached you
will see the extra side camera as well as the MLM2PRO behind me.

I have lately be using the Combine and Simulation features......awesome. I
love the Combine feature as I use it before a round at the course range. It
really helps me warm up and prepare for the first tee!

I must say this product makes practice fun.....when was the last time you

The Rapsodo MLM2PRO is a lot of bang for the buck! I am looking forward to
their new features and I recommend this to beginning golfers all the way to
professionals.

The Rapsodo MLM2PRO has completely changed my game. I have never had a launch monitor or simulator before. With the MLM2PRO, I am getting both! I typically play outside on the range and with the MLM2PRO, I am able to dial in my yardages with ease. I recently got new clubs and it was so helpful to look through the data and session insights. The slow motion impact camera is one of my favorite features as well!

It was very easy to set up and align. My range does not have wifi so I connected to the units wifi signal through direct connection. I am able to play courses out on the range or in an indoor set up. I really enjoyed the overall experience of the MLM2PRO. For a launch monitor that is more budget friendly, you are getting accuracy, insight and performance of a high tier launch monitor/simulator. Rapsodo does an incredible job meshing data insight, video playback, simulation, and fun all packed into one device. Highly recommend!

I set up the MLM2PRO in less than 5 minutes. It came partially charged so I was able to use it immediately. I downloaded RapsodoMLM2PRO and synced my iPhone with ease. I picked a target line and lined up the MLM2PRO and was ready to begin my practice session. I found that the MLM2PRO encourages me to have a more focused range session. After each shot, it tells me the carry distance, total distance and how far the shot went left or right of my target. As a 10 handicap, the left and right data helps keep me focused on my target with each shot. I have a tendency to just hit balls without consistently focusing on a target but the MLM2PRO helps prevent that behavior. After my range session, RapsodoMLM2PRO tells me the ball speed, club speed and launch angle of each shot along with the distance data. It also provides an average distance for each club. Overall, I feel the MLM2PRO is easy to transport, easy to use and will ultimately allow me to get more out of my practice sessions.

The Rapsodo MLM2PRO was the best purchase I’ve made in my golf career. I typically go on the driving range without any plan for improvement. With the MLM2PRO, I am able to connect my swing, body and club. With the data, session insights, and video playback, I have a better plan of attach on what to improve on. This unit is also spot on in terms of accuracy both indoors and outdoors. The shot shaping was incredible and distances were spot on. I absolutely love the new slow motion impact vision that zooms up on my club face. I can see how my club face is and match that up to the data.

The connection worked great. I was easily able to connect via direct wifi that the unit creates from my cellular data on the range and even indoors. I brought an extender out to my setup at my house and local and direct mode were great. The spin rates and spin axis were spot on. I have a unit providing high quality data, insight and visualization that is 10x less than a TrackMan, Foresight, Bushnell. It performs just as well, if not better. I highly recommend the MLM2PRO!!! Well done Rapsodo!

I got my Rapsodo MLM2 seven months ago in May 2023 and since then I’ve hit over 5,000 shots with it. How do I know that? It keeps count and it stores a video of each and every shot. Two videos in fact. One down the line and one of the clubface impact with the golf ball. If you use your cellphone to also record shots then it stores that third video as well, from whatever angle you choose.
I’ll admit that initially RapsodoMLM2PRO was very frustrating with difficulty connecting to the Rapsodo device and frequent crashes. But they have steadily made improvements and it is much better now. Not perfect, but I’m comfortable that it will continue to improve.
In the past seven months my golf swing has gradually improved and I have learned more about my swing dynamics than I ever did over many years. Knowing my swing speed, smash factor, launch angle, side spin, side carry, carry distance and more for all my clubs is wonderful. There is so much information available to me that I have to focus on just one or two factors at a time. Practicing this way is so much better that the usual scrape and hit that I used to do at the driving range and all from the comfort of my home practice area. I don’t write reviews very often but Rapsodo deserves this one.

The Rapsodo MLM2PRO mobile launch monitor has been a great investment so far in its short time with me. I’ve only demo’d a trackman prior to understand the full capabilities of golf tech, and this Rapsodo product does all that can do for a fraction of the price. Love all the data specified to each club, session insights, and video playback. The high-quality UI allows for easy understanding of statistics post driving range session. Shot shapes and distances were accurate. Knowing if I heeled or toed a shot with the new slow motion impact vision was something I could only typically know by feel or ball mark prior. Love it! I have had no problem connecting, and use my phone’s internal direct wifi connection, which connects very quickly. The MLM2PRO is my new golf coach! So excited and highly recommend this product by Rapsodo.
