Do not rent from Pathlight Property Management. You will regret it. Do not interact with them at all if you can avoid it. They are entirely disorganized and incompetent and MyPathlight is no help.

Can’t get past login

I’ve had MyPathlight for months and still can’t get it to work. After entering my information, all I get is a white screen. Nothing else. I’ve tried closing/restarting MyPathlight , restarting my phone, and even just waiting all to no avail. It would be convenient to be able to handle my needs from my phone, but I guess I’ll have to wait until this issue is fixed. Until then I have to use a computer.

The urine cat smell in this home

I have been officially marked in the neighborhood as the guy that inherited the awful pneumonia stitch due to previous Renter-that owned over 10 plus cats in a pathlight Home I have been complaining to get the smell out of this house since I started my lease that was in May , it’s now December Ive asked the maintenance dept. @ least once a week to send a professional crew. Instead they send a mop & a bucket Mary maid I told this sorta customer service is not good for the industry not only are hard-working Americans paying top-notch to live in these rental properties. At least we can live in one that’s smell free look I like animals I just don’t like to inherit someone else’s smell especially if I’m paying high end Rental prices and with Harding, I received no callbacks only but a generic heartless message in their portal come on .

Scammers beware of who you try to rent from

This company denies everyone even if your credit is above 650 without any criminal record and never any evictions. They automatically take everyone’s applications fee and denies everyone for lack of credit or failed background checks. When we are employees with the federal government and child care how did we get these jobs with a criminal record? When you view the requirements for property and know that you qualify they still deny your application. I am doing my best to help other rentals avoid wasting money when you are going to be denied. This should be illegal for a so call management company to deny all applicants with the same lie.

I even had multiple people apply to make sure I was correct about the scams this company is running.

Terrible assistance

Pathlight does not provide support when required, takes long time to answer and schedule vendors, I have a problem going on for almost three months without resolution and my property manager is ignoring my messages. I spent hours on the phone with multiple agents and nobody was able to help me. I’m paying full price on the house but I’m not able to use the master bathroom because of a problem Pathlight created during a maintenance and did not fix properly.

Good for paying invoices, otherwise worthless.

Pathlight is a great example of everything wrong with the market. If you need any assistance from Pathlight you will not receive it through MyPathlight. They never respond in a timely manner. You’ll get a response maybe a week later asking if you still need assistance. You’ll respond “yes” then you’ll get the same response another week later.

Not sure if they’re brain dead or this is part of their business model to avoid fixing things or providing any type of support.

MyPathlight is stupid can’t get past the login screen every time I try to log in it just goes to a white screen and no farther. Can’t even access my account on the regular browser anymore either cause it just redirects me to redownload MyPathlight . I have stuff that I need to be able to put in for that I have to wait until I’m around some than can access MyPathlight and sometimes that’s days.

Response time to maintenance issues

MyPathlight is pretty worthless. It only seems to work when you’re making a payment.

We’re without air conditioning for many days with no one getting back to us even after several calls. We ended calling local HVAC technicians that responded within 8 hours.

Four days later, Pathlight had still not gotten back to us.

The worse property management ever. They dont want to fix anything wrong with there property and collecting people hard earn money every month. Very inconsistent. Every time a work order is put in they cancel it without explanation. If I could zero star to Pathlight I would. You have to do better when It comes to your residents.

The app doesn’t work

Can’t even log on, the screen turns white and won’t do anything, have to shut MyPathlight down and try again but it does the same thing. They stopped allowing a mobile site on safari and direct you to use MyPathlight but it’s a piece of crap. Just as useless as Pathlight.

Do not use Pathlight. MyPathlight is not only bad and doesn’t work properly but the whole company. We have had SO many problems with our rental home. They seem to just ignore and skim over any request and questions I have. I never leave reviews but seriously don’t use.

MyPathlight works ok. No complaints. However, Do not rent a house from Pathlight. We moved into a home that they did not get move in ready. Running water was not working, drains clogged, grass 3 feet fall, and the house was obviously not cleaned. Took them 2 months to complete all the work orders after move-in.

My experience with Pathlight

I don’t like how impersonal and detached everything is. I don’t like that I can’t talk to a live person. I don’t like not having someone to show me the working details of the house. I don’t like how there’s fines and penalties for everything. I feel like I’m renting from a robot that doesn’t speak my language and it doesn’t have feelings to connect with anyone.

The absolute worst I’ve ever experienced

Absolutely horrific management company.
I have requested over 20 repairs and I can’t get a response or anything repaired. I have lived here almost 3 years I’m paying almost $2600 a month in rent air-conditioning doesn’t work. Fridge is leaking toilet is leaking wood rot in the master bathroom. The deadbolts on my doors don’t work window locks are broken and I can’t get anybody to repair them or to respond I have never seen anything like it.

App needs work I’m new to company I can log on resident center from computer but I go to my Pathlight app and it tells me my account is not found so I click the first time user it requires my email then says if there’s an account it will email set up instructions that never come. I call main number they tell me to email support I do that they tell me to message from message icon in app and there is NO message icon in app this is VERY FRUSTRATING!!!!

Horrible maintenance

Unfortunately all the reviews are true about renting a house from Pathlight are true. It took them over a month to get our stove fixed, and recently the refrigerator went out, they sent someone about 4 days after reporting it, the guy said the compressor is shot. So Pathloght has been reviewing the repair quote for a week now and nothing is being done as of yet since the guy came and diagnosed the refrigerator. We have been without a refrigerator for 2 weeks now. They simply could have ordered a new fridge from one of the nearby places and could have been here the following day. We are paying over priced rent for the city we live in and the call thia a luxury home, well I’m paying luxury price for a luxury home I should get luxury service when it comes to maintenance. After my experience with them this year, I will not be renewing my lease

We are trying to get a window and door replaced. Plathlight sent out a vendor after several days their bid was not approved. A new vendor came out and took new measurements. He does not know what is going on. When we call Pathlight we get routed to voicemail. We are frustrated with the lack of communication from Pathlight people.

Terrible company takes forever to get responses. Who ever gives this more than 1 star is someone working for them. Don’t believe the five star ratings pure bull****. They want there money now but if you move expect to wait at least 30 days for response. Corporate companies are the worst. They don’t give a **** about you. Girlfriend had cancer and asked to move out a month early and they pretty much told me to **** off.

Your request for maintenance will end up in a circle, no one knows anything or will direct you to someone or another department were they don't know anything, if you get a person they make promises that that they do not keep and have no follow up. If you are like us and put up your own money into repairs that should be Pathlights.. you will wonder if the rent they charge is worth it when their maintenance results are so lossy.

Pathlight is making me reqret my decision and I am sure this rant is falling on deaf ears, Pathlight is nothing but computer software running a business.

Experience two months in.

This rating would be higher; however, my wife and I have tried to contact someone at the company for two days now and left multiple messages and no one is contacting us regarding a time sensitive issue. We are asking for 5 minutes out of the day to ensure that our questions are promptly, and properly addressed so we can continue to outstanding tenants.

Two business days is plenty of time to deliever on such a simple request. We pay a lot of money to this company. The least that can be done is simple communication. I am disappointed to say the least.

I just downloaded the updated app on an iPhone 15 and writing an actual message is painful. Every few words typed the screen jumps to the top or another app that’s opened. Very annoying. Hopefully an easy fix so it’s easier to use that part of MyPathlight .

I had MyPathlight previously and it was very useful. I had anupdate and MyPathlight will not open to my account- message is "oops something went wrong..." tech help link says something about too many attempts ....deleted app 3 more times - MyPathlight is cache-ing something that won't connect. Pathlight has no answer. The fact that no one can fix this means MyPathlight is a failure.

We moved into our home about three weeks ago. We have submitted around 6 work orders dealing with mainly electrical and plumbing issues. So far Pathlight has been extremely efficient about getting a vendor sent to correct the problem. I’m very satisfied with the work order process.

I had called about a toilet that was running nonstop. I called and they gave me a couple of options on dates…They sent a young man named Charles out to our home 🏡 on Terracotta Terrace, he was so very nice, polite and got the job after checking all the other water sources!!! Very effective! I can not tell u how nice and quickly he got the job done❤️❤️❤️ again his name was Charles, a plumber thatPath light sent out on April 1

I am leaving a 5 star review because I noticed MyPathlight has a 2.5 star rating from frustrated customers. MyPathlight works great, you can schedule a maintenance request, pay, and track everything you need to know from your lease to bills. Great app. See people complaining about not getting response when emailing, so call? everytime I call they answer very fast especially their maintenance number. Work smarter not harder.

Recent updates have really improved the experience

I used to feel using Pathlight that it was difficult to reach out for an update and feel as though you spoke to the same person twice. This was frustrating if you had a question or work order that needed service.

Recently I have noticed a lot of changes that have improved my experiences.

It’s now much easier to make and track a work orders, and overall it just feels like communication has improved. I feel much more informed about the status of my lease and other items.

No landlord is perfect, but it’s nice to see one who is trying to think about being more transparent.

I am writing to express my utter despair and frustration with Pathlight Property Management, which has been acquired by Blackstone. Despite their promises of transparency and accountability, they have consistently failed to deliver on their commitments. In 2019, I was promised that my home would be ready for move-in on June 1st, but it was not even habitable. The property was in disrepair, and I was left to deal with the aftermath of a contractor's negligence. Since then, I have experienced numerous issues with maintenance and repair, including damage to my home and unlicensed contractors. The company's lack of transparency and accountability has been frustrating, and I have lost confidence in their ability to manage properties. It's as if they are more interested in fighting legal battles with their tenants than actually fixing the problems they created. Recently, I was promised an early termination and a transfer to a new home that was ADA compliant, but it has not been prepared for occupancy. The property is in disrepair, and I have been forced to continue living in a substandard home. Pathlight's handling of this situation has been unacceptable, and I have had to deal with multiple issues, including leaks, damage to the roof, and lack of essential safety features like smoke detectors and GFCI protection. I am not alone in my experience with Pathlight. Online reviews from various sources, including Yelp, Trustpilot, and Revdex, paint a similar picture of frustration and disappointment. Tenants who have had the misfortune of dealing with Pathlight have reported similar issues, including: Unlicensed contractors causing damage to their homes Lack of transparency and accountability Delays in maintenance and repair Failure to provide essential safety features Unresponsive customer service I urge anyone considering renting from Pathlight to do their own research and be cautious. Don't be fooled by their promises of a "seamless" experience. They will leave you high and dry, just like they did with me. I am at my wit's end. I have filed complaints with government agencies and plan to continue seeking justice through legal means. I hope that someone will take notice of the consistent pattern of poor behavior exhibited by Pathlight Property Management and take action to protect tenants from their predatory practices. I am tired of being treated like an afterthought by a company that only cares about making profits. I am tired of being forced to live in a substandard home while they reap the benefits of our hard-earned rent payments. I am tired of being ignored and dismissed by a company that refuses to take responsibility for their actions. I hope that my story will serve as a warning to others: stay away from Pathlight Property Management. They are not a reputable company, and they will not treat you with respect or dignity.
