I’ve tried three decibel meter apps, DecibeldB is very consistent….and 20 decibels below the other two. Is it the accurate one? Don’t know, all that’s confirmed is that it measures lower that the others by 20db. For me that’s the wrong direction for error.

Downloaded DecibeldB because I was curious about how loud I could scream. Opened it, and it took me directly to the reader, but when I yelled it only went up to 70. It didn't even recognize the sound of my screams half the time.

This gives readings that aren’t very reflective of the environment. It doesn’t catch surges in sound, and gives readings of 40 db when there is no sound. Don’t waste your money.
