Use an ad with a challenging and interesting board to entice new players to download a game but the actual game you get has many levels of easy mundane boards, it’s a classic bait and switch which has become the norm with game developers lately. I was curious if those interesting boards in the original ad for the game would come as higher levels were reached…….well I’m over 1000 levels and still haven’t seen the multiple shelves that rotate and disappear that I saw in those original advertisements. I also purchased ad free, which by the way is NOT ad free when you still are forced to watch ads in the middle of some boards. Bait and switch advertising is illegal but the developers get by with it because the downloads are free. In app purchases are not free so maybe it’s time for a class action to put a stop to this nonsense. Zero stars wasn’t an option.

Decided to update as I’ve decided to delete this game. Getting close to level 2000 and still haven’t seen a board that resembles the advertised game. Also the length of ads is ridiculous, some are clocking over 60 seconds. Time to move on.

as soon a i PAID for no ads .. they lock down 2 of 6 block areas when i do food POPs up i'm unable to move any more I want YOU TO KNOW THIS COULD BE A GOOD RELAXING GAME ... This is a fun game for about 2 levels, if you’re lucky. After you watch the first advertisement to continue the game it begins to glitch. It will either pause between each item selected or freeze up all together. This gets very frustrating when the levels are timed, and even if they weren’t. I guess it’s their way to get you to buy it without ads. However, I won’t do that because I’m not sure it wouldn’t do the same thing anyway. Sad,sad, sad that these are allowed on the market.

So so so so many ads. Then the game cheats, and the really frustrating part is on the lower left and lower right it often times just rejects your choice to move pieces there because it acts as if you’re moving them off the screen. That’s because when the developers created it they overlapped the bottom banner with the bottom pieces. I’m sure this is intentional. When you’re on a timed game and it takes you five seconds to get the stupid game to allow you to move a piece to an open space then I see people are just trying to cheat you. Deleted.

I’d give zero stars if it were an option, but I’ll have to settle for one. Based on other reviews, I’m not paying to remove ads that aren’t actually removed. But the worst of it is that not only do you get an ad between every single level, you get one that interrupts your current level when you “pick up a special model” which makes absolutely zero sense. When I end up watching ads for longer than I am actually playing the game, it’s time to delete the game and move on. Seriously, I don’t know how people continue to play and keep this game in business.

At first I was successful each time, but then they remove shelves as well as potential places to move items around while simultaneously shortening the amount of time needed to finish the game. For the first few games they give you opportunity to add 60 seconds. But after just a few times of adding, you need to PURCHASE more time. They force you in to needing more time and then charge money for it. Of course you have to agree to buy more time but without it, you are NEVER able to complete a puzzle before the time is up. (Except for the first few times, so they can get you hooked). LAME

The levels get to a point where they have shelves blocked until you either make enough matches or watch an ad to release them. The first few levels you can make matches to open them. Then (for me it was level 17, it may be different for others) it only lets you get so far until it cuts you off and says you have to refresh, even if you still have moves you can make, messing up everything you’ve done and causing you to lose. It will not let you open those shelves without watching the ads. I understand they need ads to make money but I won’t be FORCED to watch them to win a level especially at such an early level.

If ads drive you crazy do NOT download this game. It is nothing but a developers way of forcing ads down you throats. There are ads after every level plus, you are unable to complete levels without watching ads!! The shelves are blocked and you cannot play without watching ads to open them. And after all of the negative ratings I have yet to see a developer respond to any of the claims of ads or anything else the players have reported. I am deleting the piece of trash game.

The name of ClosetSort should be changed to “Watch lots of long ads” because that’s what it’s all about. I don't mind ads between games but not continuously during a game. This was a fun game for a day or two until the ads started coming on during the game. It started off gradual and then progressed to less and less time between the ad breaks. My last play was maybe 20 seconds until a long ad. I liked the game but deleted it because I spent much more time watching the same excessively long ads over and over and over again, and less time playing. I’d rather spend my time in bumper-to-bumper rush hour traffic than play this ad ridden game.

I tried out the game and liked it so I purchased the add-on at $5.99 to remove ads and since then the levels have locked boxes that can’t be opened til you watch more ads. Sometimes you can “break” the box by making other matches on the screen but more times than not it’s impossible to get enough matching objects without watching the ads. This is a strategic rip off. Shame on this developer!! Buyer beware!!!

I enjoyed the game enough and paid $6 to go ad-free. Not sure what happed but I’m still getting ads, and this game has a ton of them and they’re long. I closed ClosetSort - still got ads. I restarted my iPhone - still getting ads. I contacted the developer hoping to have the problem corrected. I didn’t not receive a response.

I do not recommend.

There are more ads than game. In other words, you would have to pay me, AND remove the ads, for me to reinstall ClosetSort. It’s kind of cute, and - without the overwhelmingly too-frequent, too-repetitive, and too-freaking-frustrating ads, might be a bit more entertaining. But I found my next download, so this one has already been deleted.

I purchased the No Ads for $5.99 and ClosetSort STILL HAS ADS that YOU ARE FORCED TO WATCH in order to play the game! When you get to a Bonus Round YOU ARE FORCED TO WATCH AN AD in order to play the round otherwise you forfeit playing the Bonus Round! If you do choose to play a Bonus Round (after watching the AD to get into the BR) you are YET AGAIN FORCED TO WATCH MORE ADS in order to unlock certain cells IN ORDER TO CONTINUE PLAYING THE GAME!

ClosetSort HAS STOLEN MY MONEY! NO ADS MEANS NO ADS!

It’s near impossible to place an item in the bottom square that has the gray line showing “combo x1” across it. The item will jump out once you release it. I’ve seen this same complaint in other reviews which resulted in the player deleting the game. It’s a fun game but way too frustrating with the current bug.

I enjoyed the game but quickly found myself irritated more often than not. I don’t mind ads as I know it’s how we get it free. But holy cow, they are intrusive! In the middle of a round it pops up and I lose momentum. And then many of them seem to get stuck. No x pops up no matter how long I wait (literally waited 2 minutes), how many times I click on it and it goes to the store. Sometimes it’s an invisible x. Or you have to “play” in ad game. Sometimes you don’t. I understand you’re making it annoying in hopes to get us to pay for ad free but considering how glitchy it is (intentional or not) I don’t feel warm and fuzzy about it being worth the money. There are others with more rewards and less intrusiveness on the enjoyment of the game. Ads work, I download new games all the time to try…figure something else out to get money. Or less expensive for ad free. Or up your quality of the game experience so it’s worth $6. Or both. For those reasons, I’m out.

This is actually a good game but the developers actually design it to cheat you out of your time with long ads but the timer doesn't stop there's no pausing the game option either. It will stop your game and make you automatically have to shuffle when you don't actually need to. They designed it that way so you have to make a purchase which I'm never going to do no matter how relaxing the game is. Just look at the reviews from those who made purchases. Basically, the game is created and the designers to cheat you out of time and money. You only get 2 🌟🌟 because I like the game.

This game was great until the levels got impossible. There were literally no spaces to sort into. It just kept making me restart the game and watch an ad. Sometimes there would be a space to sort into but within a few moves there would be no triples without watching an ad to unlock them. I have a rule: I delete any game that forces you watch ads or pay money to advance in the game. So this one has been deleted.

It’s fun & everything but when you advance on levels the ads are just so frequent! I think I’ve given up on ClosetSort, it’s simply too much now. Especially when you run out of time, you can get more time with an ad but it’s not a lot of time so you find yourself watching ads every 20 seconds. For Pete’s sake, you need to watch an ad to collect free coins that u don’t even ask for right in the middle of a game.

Like others have mentioned, this company does employ bait and switch. I down loaded it because the ads looked interesting. Unfortunately, the game itself is not as interesting. There are also LOTS of ads The time spent on ads is twice, if not three times as much as game playing time. I realize they need ads to pay for the game, however, I’m not interested in that many ads. Good bye!!!

I understand that these games will include ads in between levels but this one actually locks items and prevents you from even finishing a level before watching an ad! And long ones to boot. The game itself is fun but I feel like I spend 20% of the time playing and 80% watching ads! Deleted on the same day I got it.

I’m on level 64 and still not challenged. The games switches from food to candy to animals…(maybe for when kiddos play, but as an adult I prefer food containers - that should be a choice when u start to game.
Then there’s a light bulb that you collect( not sure why.. like if u need an idea), your matching three in a row no ideas necessary.
Than there’s this piggy bank that you have to PAY (2.99) to open, but if I collected the coins, why do I have to pay to open?
Lastly, I was expecting that I I moved up the levels there would be MORE cabinets to work like in the pictures. I’m still in 24 cabinets at level 64.
I’m REALLY ready to drop the came. I’m not spending anymore $$. I’m trying to hold out for that total wall of cabinets (like the pic) not sure how much longer I will be playing

This is a fun distraction lol I enjoy the food graphics and for the most part, enjoy the change up in boards throughout the game. I like that I can still play with a floating window over the game with a show, movie, etc streaming and it doesn't affect game play.

Others are true, there are a LOT of ads to watch if you play free. At the end of each level, you have the option to get the base coins for your win or watch an ad to get up to 5x the win. I find I can get to a new level without watching an ad one time and then I'm watching an ad whether I choose the multiplier or not. Kind of annoying.

Also, we get coins as part of our wins for winning a level but I cannot for the life of me figure out where we can spend these coins. I'd love to be able to use them to get new items for the board or something but all that's in the store is the option to buy more coins lol

The game was decent enough and passed the time, but I had to delete it because you have to watch ads to unlock cubbies, and you can’t complete the level with locked cubbies. And it wouldn’t be so bad if it was a short one, but I swear it was a full minute long ad, had to “close” it three times, you know the kind that pulls up ClosetSort Store, and then it finally went. Then I hit a level with two locked cubbies and you had to watch one ad to unlock each. If I wanted to pay money for a game, I’d pay for one that’s worth my time, not one that’s for when I need something to do on the toilet.

This game is really fun and my wife and I love these sorts of games. Our only complaint, and it’s a big one, is that you can’t turn off the timer. I understand for competitive reasons why it’s there, but for those who want to relax and enjoy a game, the timer causes stress and makes it not fun at all. If it was possible to do this, both of us would 100% purchase this game, but without it, it’s practically unplayable. Hopefully they will eventually add this feature so that the game can be enjoyed by a larger variety of people.

I’m a professional and thought I had an above average IQ (lol), until this game 🤦🏻‍♀️ I’m on level 5000 on another popular match 3 game so how hard can this be? Pfft. Yea right. I’m on level 15 and I want to throw my phone across the room. I have no idea how people are bored or find this game “too easy.” The time goes by too quickly; I run out of room. There’s mystery items that are blacked out with ? marks. Come on! The game should be enjoyable- and calm- at lower levels. This game gives me gray hair.

I am on level 227. I have been here for a little while. I have been sitting here for half an hour. And I play mere seconds at a time. Take a couple clicks, have to go renew or get a hammer or whatever. And wait and wait. I wish I had an alarm clock that was set to the amount of time these ads go, because I could probably take a little nap in between. But doggone I have to keep my eyes on the stupid X’s. What is the point of giving you six shelves and having three of them blocked off? There’s nowhere to tell you how to get them unblocked. From the beginning of the level, there are no moves. Maybe one, maybe two. But then you’ve got to listen to their stupid ads. I keep the sound down on everything. I don’t have to listen to their stuff. I love playing the game when it works. But as it has been said before, I spend more time on ads with this game, than I do actually playing.

Tell me how to play without getting the boxes full up. Get a hammer? I just want to play, not be assaulted with ad after ad. I’m almost ready to delete it.

I paid the $5.99 to remove the ads. Weeks later the ads still show after every game which….is before you move on to the next level. Since you’ve received my money, PLEASE REMOVE THE ADS. Also, I am on level 218 and the background still looks the same as level one did. The background does not change…as the ad suggests that it does. There is no real challenge to the game. It helps you to keep your mind busy when you need it to, however, the constant ads for other games is a lot!!! PLEASE remove the ads for those of us who paid the $5.99 and whose $5.99 link is now greyed out. Thank you!

Was a great game to play. Purchased the “no ads” option and in the last update where supposedly the graphics were updated, the graphics are the same but somehow I’m spending way more time watching ads. Will probably remove it. So frustrating.

This is one of my favorite games. The things that I like are that it is fun and advances, though not too much at a time—just enough to keep me on my toes!
Lately, I’ve found that the bottom right and bottom left areas are very hard to use, so it’s a of my game is complicated even more because the two actions overlap the playing field! It seems like it’s just a glitch, but it does anger me because sometimes I lose a set because of this glitch.
The second thing is that I can only B play two matches in succession. It is fun for two matches and then the game makes it impossible—absolute impossible—to win without using one of my earned “special actions”—yes, the two that are in the bottom r and bottom l corners. If I must use that special action, I’m no longer reading on my skill! So I just quit after two games. Too bad you don’t correct that—I’d play a lot longer if you didn’t do that!!

The game is fun and has a few that actually challenges. Two things that would make the game better: update it so that my music doesn’t cut off when I play; and adjust certain boards so that watching an ad isn’t required in order to complete it. Watching the ad should help, but not be required to complete the round.

So this game is without a doubt a great game! I love it it helps with my anxiety but the ads make me super frustrated. There are ads before each level then you have to a watch an ad in the game you have to watch to unlock the other parts of the level and then an ad after the level and they are long ads too. If they maybe had one ad after each level it would help!

This game is amazing and it takes my mind of things it’s so addicting but there are a few things I dislike that if they were fixed I would give this a five star. The first thing that I dislike is that you can’t type what name you want you have to keep randomizing it until it selects your name and I have been looking for about 10 minutes and I still haven’t found my name, it would also is annoying when someone does go past their name and they wanted to go back they can’t because it only lets you go forward so if you skip it on accident you have to restart it just makes the process slower. The second thing I dislike is that you can’t start a group or have friends, I think it would make the game more fun to challenge your friends or just to know how much they have, it would be cool if we could chat to each other. The third thing I dislike or want changed is there is no other events than the lightning because it’s not as fun. Lastly the fourth thing I want changed or I dislike is that you can’t change your profile picture or add a description of your profile. Other than that this game is amazing and I really like it so keep up the good work! 😁

Exercises executive function and speed. I wish ClosetSort had a stroke recovery or dementia setting that allowed users to start over or back up to easier levels. ClosetSort has been great for helping my mom in stroke recovery but the levels move too fast for her especially when she has bad days.

After paying for ClosetSort , I still see ads!!! And after an update the ads on the banner have reappeared.

I like this game but the lower row is nearly impossible to use. I think it's because items are behind other buttons that go with the game.

Honestly i love this game, everything freezes or moves slower after watching an ad, and then when you are done with a level it gets stuck and you have to close out of it and go back in losing all your progress. I will continue to play because it’s fun but the bugs need to be fixed!

I chose to turn off WiFi while playing, since I use these games to unwind. The game ran smoothly and I enjoyed matching the creative funky critters, similar to the bird match game. However, the time allowance makes this game feel less relaxing for me. I wasn’t too thrilled with the shelves that bud most of the label. The game didn’t crash and it was fun, just not really interested in the timer thing

i tried other sorting games because i like to play my own music in the background and this one doesn’t allow that, but i have to say, of all the sorting games i’ve tried, this one has the best gameplay. so, i’ve paid to remove ads and i sent a suggestion for muting the game music and also for allowing us to play our own music in the background.

i really like the sound effects of the game but the music drives me CRAZY. i wish it were possible to mute only the music and still have the sound effects.

i really like this game and it is one of my main go-tos right now.

I like sorting yet, it does not let me listen to any other app while playing it. I usually listen to podcasts in the morning and would want to play a quick level before going to work.

I would love to play a game like this regularly, but eventually the ads become over the top annoying to the point that I have to ask, am I playing this game for my own enjoyment, or for someone else’s financial gain. I have been scammed too many times to pay one more cent on a game, unless I can prove it won’t cost me more than the ad removal cost. I don’t want to see one more ad after paying the “removal fee “.

Today I’ve had to restart my phone to get past Reward Granted which of course puts me in a new game instead of the one I was playing. It’s quite frustrating. Anything I can do to fix it. I do enjoy the game when it’s working properly. Thanks!

Months Later I found this AMAZING app called “Closet Sort” it is just like goods triple but better I love it cuz there’s not too many ads well at least for me, anyways I can’t wait to share it with my mom!

So I looked up organizing games with no WiFi and this popped up it’s such a good game and I only just got it yesterday!so another great thing about this game is it doesn’t interrupt your gameplay that means when you are playing a game no ads will pop up! Also it barely has any ads! Maybe after about 3 or 4 games an ad pops up but there’s barely any ads. Another thing that I actually surprisingly like is that it has a timelimit and I actually hate games with time but it gives you like 5 minutes each time depending on the difficulty of each level!

I saw this game in an ad and thought oh this will be fun and when I clicked on it, the review said 4.9 but then when I looked through the reviews, they all said there’s too many ads in the game sucked and people were waiting, but when I cooked it and started playing it I got no ads in 20 minutes. I got not even one ad, this game is so fun. I’m just confused by the reviews because the reviews all say this is so bad but this game is so fun.

When I first. Installed this game it was a slow load and kept crashing
So I uninstalled and re installed it and it worked perfectly
This game helps to keep your mind alert and is just as fun as all the face paced cooking games I am so fond of.

I had downloaded this on my phone. Had so much fun I downloaded it on my tablet too! For once I can play one of these games and not get stuck on the 10th level and can’t get past it. It is challenging but not impossible like most of these sorting games. I totally recommend it!

This is a fun, relaxing game but as the closet grew larger as I progressed, unfortunately the ad bar at the bottom of the game on my iPhone didn’t allow me to access the bottom shelves so I had to delete the game. I don’t blame the game…I now have the same problem on another app.

This game has made my knee surgery recovery so much easier because it distracts me from the pain, you can turn off the wifi and have no ads and just play until you fall asleep. Im glad to have something that distracts me so well because the operation i had 2 days ago hurts very bad and this helps a lot. So if you need a distraction from anything this is the game. i also played it while i was waiting for them to prep my surgery, very satisfying and keeps you from being nervous. <3
