App crashes as soon as it’s clicked. Restarting phone did not help.

I got a notification that my friend sent an instant but the message isn’t there. It’s not allowing me to send my vibes either. I’ve restarted and closed out of the app, and done everything I can’t. I’m afraid if I delete and reinstall I’ll have to create a new account

When I made my account, despite selecting no to adding all of the recommended accounts it still did and sent requests to many people I did not want to add. It won’t let me undo the friend requests or at least delete my account.

I’m on iPhone 14 pro iOS 16.5.1 and I had to verify my account on my wife’s iPhone 14 pro max iOS 16.5.1 and that worked. I was able to login on my phone after verification but cannot update any part of my profile and none of my friends posts are loading.

Follow these steps to resolve intermittent Lapse app issues:

Force Stop the Lapse App
1. On android, goto "Settings" » click Lapse app. » click "Force Stop".

Update Lapse to the latest version on PlayStore

Clear Lapse App Cache and Data:
1. On your device, goto "Settings" » click "Apps" » select "Lapse app" » click "Storage" » click "Clear Data" option. This Clears both data and cache.
2. Relaunch Lapse.

Fix Lapse unable to contact server/ Lapse internet connection errors on Android:

This issue is usually caused by your network. Here is how to fix:

On android, goto "Settings" » "Apps" or "Manage Apps" tab.
Click Lapse » "Force Stop".
Next, goto "Storage" » "Clear Data".
Again, got Lapse » "Mobile Data" » "Allow Background Data Usage".
Go back to "Settings" » "Connections" » "Mobile Network" » "Network Mode".
Now, put your network on 4G e.g. LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)
