Could not get the lights to complete pairing until I used a different App, then it was easy. Suggestions of changing WPA setting or disabling the 5g Wifi functions to get 2.4ghz pairing to work is ludicrous.
I diligently followed the set up instructions as I am used to a different brand of Bluetooth devices. I gave up after several attempts. I will be returning.
The set up process is simple, I doesn’t work well, but the idea is simple. It’s very frustrating. And once they’re set up, they immediately stop responding anyway. I tried to replace some Phillips hue bulbs. I guess that’s not happening. I’ll switch back.
Extremely disappointing. I tried multiple times, multiple WiFi networks, multiple lamps. Nothing worked. Will be returning the bulbs.
SuncoSmartLighting does not have grouping. So, if you have a room of lights getting them all the same brigjtness (dimming) and color is impossible. It’s impossible because there is no percentage of dimming or copy/paste or hex number for the color. So you have to guess, I guess…
I bought Sunco lights and then discovered SuncoSmartLighting which lets you control the lights super easily. There’s so many convenient settings and it is way better than anything else I’ve used. You need SuncoSmartLighting!
Omg I’ve only been buying my lights from SUNCO the last few years and now they have an APP that is so convenient and easy to use. I could not be more happy!!! What would I do without you SUNCO 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
I have tried to use these bulbs in my my outside house lights and find the process to connect them to the app very frustrating. This year, I used a different outside light during the Christmas holiday time and when switching back to these smart light bulbs, they failed to follow the original schedule and also failed to connect to the wifi in order to reset their scheduled on/off times. Last year it took multiple attempts to get them to program to my preferred scheduled, but this year, they totally failed to get programmed, even to just turn on.
