Day 10 of using and not happy

I’ve used another app called My Fitness Pal that is free and it worked way better than FastingForWeightLossApp when it comes to entering food and drinks. FastingForWeightLossApp, Soon, can’t even find a Subway sandwich correctly. I ate a Schwabs hot dog and it couldn’t find that. The other app I used was very detailed and worked. The other thing that drives me crazy is drinks. If I have a coffee with cream AND sugar, there isn’t an option for that. I have to chose one or the other. The other problem is, if I want it counted in my calories, I have to go back and enter it again as a snack. Should have to be redundant with entries. I paid $50 for it, have used it for 10 days and I have already cancelled my subscription. I guess I have a decent fasting only app for another year.

Unusable

Have been trying to establish my profile, the first step in the process. The weight page has no ‘continue’ button. Reached out to support three times. Ea h time si was told to change font to something smaller. I made it the smallest and it did nothing. Still no way to continue, rendering FastingForWeightLossApp unusable. Since changing the text size did nothing to the font size within their app clearly their app doesn’t even support dynamic type, which support does not seem to know. Seems like it could be an interesting and useful app but time to move on.

Horrible

FastingForWeightLossApp is seriously horrible. I would give it 0 stars if I could. It is full of spelling and grammatical errors. The tips are nothing special, just basic information you could easily find on google. I’m sorry I paid for FastingForWeightLossApp, so I’m warning you to not waste your money unless you want to pay for a glorified timer that counts down when you can eat next. FastingForWeightLossApp is seriously worthless.

Disappointed

I loved FastingForWeightLossApp and have been using it every day for about seven months. All of a sudden I started to get more and more ads and interruptions to create a subscription. I was able to access my personal info until yesterday when all that comes up is the subscription page that constantly cycles the promo video. I cannot longer access my personal info. I’m very disappointed. I’m moving on to another app.

Needs to be improved

I have been using FastingForWeightLossApp for a week
Food logging: it doesn’t allow me to copy and aste from another meal, it doesn’t remember previously logged foods. I eat a lot of the same things every day and I need to manually reenter them every single time. Not good
Tracking of the fast times: I am on a 18:6 but the display shows me the wrong start and end times of the fast, assuming a 12:12 clock. No idea why.
Weight entry is clumsy and the display is inaccurate
I chose not to have a nutritionist but I still get some AI messaging along with a picture of a “real” person. I don’t like that at all. Pretending to be real when it’s not is not trust inspiring
All n all: I really don’t need FastingForWeightLossApp to do this fast.

Good but more expensive than it’s worth

This is a good app & intermittent fasting is a good way to maintain a healthy weight. My complaint is this: I only needed FastingForWeightLossApp to make sure I didn’t accidentally become anorexic. So really all I need is a 14 to 16 hour timer. I like how FastingForWeightLossApp used to display that. They updated recently. So I paid $63 for a year of a timer that displays in military time so I have to count to make sure I’m on the right hour. Also if I forget to start my fast it won’t let me add the fast the next morning unless I have already finished fasting. Which is dumb. To be fair that isn’t always the case but over all I really regret this purchase. I should have just used the timer app that came on the phone.

Don’t like the new update

I’m not liking the new update you made to FastingForWeightLossApp . I’ve been using this for a while now and it literally is a strict part of my life. I use it everyday. Since the new update when I end my fast which is around 12pm it doesn’t keep track of it. It will tell me I ended and that I did a great job. I go about my day and when I go to start my fast around 6pm and it will say, “Are you still fasting? You’ve been fasting for over 20 hours.” It’s so frustrating because it’s done that 3 times this week and there’s no way to correct the mistake. I have no choice but to push the not fasting button when I had been fasting the entire time. And then when I push the button a bunch of Chinese writing comes on the screen.
Please go back to the original platform! It was so much better! I’m getting to the point where I want to get rid of FastingForWeightLossApp because it’s been giving me so much problems.
This has been one of the most successful apps I’ve ever used to lose and maintain my weight so I hate having to find something else. Please do something to fix this!

the app is ok

it has a program called fasting. which tells you when to start eating and went to stop to help lose weight, how much water to drink and step counting. but the reason I got it was cuz it promises to give you a diet for yourself they ask many questions and tells u your 1 month thing is ready so you buy it and there is nothing like that, there is not a list grocery for u to buy, there is not a plan of meals so you can do it so I guess you have to already know what’s healthy to keep in your fridge and pantry to be able to do this. and well day by day you will learn here cuz they do provide the recipes

I have asked a few questions and it’s been days with no reply. When trying to loose weight we can’t afford to wait days for a response. That needs to be fixed asap

Goal for cruise

I’m a later sleeper due to health reasons and I prefer starting my fast at 11:30 and ending at 6:30. I’m not certain how to set my reminders for that time.

I don’t have a device to track my steps so it’s rather a guess.

I have a totally fused spine and Chronic Pain but realize I would feel much better not packing all this extra weight. When my husband passed my activity slowed way down and adding Covid didn’t help either. But I’m very committed and have a cruise with a friend to the Mediterranean for motivation.

I don’t expect miracles but I drink lots of water, that’s normal for me.
I have a recumbent bicycle downstairs and can use that to help with my exercise. I walk my dogs if it’s a nice day.

I love having reminders on my phone and it’s motivation to weigh myself daily.

App suggestion- Excited 😎

Download FastingForWeightLossApp last night after trials of other apps. FastingForWeightLossApp appears to be what I’m looking for. However, I would suggest adding in a medical profile to help calculate goals. For instance, I have had 2 lower back surgery’s. This stops me from being able to get my 5K steps in a day. I need to be able to make up for this in some way. I will come back and leave a review after some time of using FastingForWeightLossApp. I’m very excited. Let’s keep track, for today, I’m 5’4 and weigh 220. 😩
Let’s get back to a healthy weight of 135.

New to app

Been on it for 6 days and man, do I feel the difference. My goal is to lose 20 lbs and I think I’m on my way. Theres a few things that would be more helpful. Would like to have a “coach”. I know you can text someone, but they maybe get back to you 4-5 hours later. Maybe some generated answers for my questions regarding FastingForWeightLossApp . I’d like to see more meal plans continuing to be incorporated. I’m also confused on the calorie intake and break down of that. I just try to stay under daily. Ha. I struggle to get to the daily 10k step despite 45 minutes daily walking on treadmill. Maybe time could also be a goal! Good app, would recommend it. Helps motivate you I think.

Understanding how to use the time tracker

I’m new to FastingForWeightLossApp so I will probably will reevaluate it later but it is not as friendly as it could be in regards to starting and end the individual fast I’m still working on that as I type .

ABSOLUTELY WORTH $50/yr

I am only in my first week and I am down 7lbs so far. FastingForWeightLossApp makes it so easy to keep track. And if you are someone who likes rewards, the daily tasks feel rewarding when you complete them, if you have an Apple Watch it will count your steps for you! I also love the search engine to search foods and drinks. During you eating window, it’s feedback is very positive in the search even if it isn’t a healthy food it will say something like “this is high in calories and fat so eat in moderation but it’s okay to treat yourself once in a while” and it will give portion suggestions and suggest “healthier” alternatives! I love this so far, I hope to update after a while!

Helping me stay on track

I have struggled for years with staying on track and as always intimidated with fasting. But SoonFasting has been really helpful and taken a lot of the worry off my shoulders.

Great app for beginners

So far I’m only on day 3, however it’s been a good start and I enjoy the prompts and timer to keep me going, and the tips to help motivate me. The built in education is really great. I do wish it had more of a food journal though, and any warnings if your in taking too much where it would make weight loss difficult. The food recipes aren’t really fitting for me.

New to fasting

Only 2 days but so far I am getting into FastingForWeightLossApp and love the guideline for fasting . I use it as my reminder if I feel the need to eat. I would like to be able to ask questions from the community and not the virtual assistant . I do not like that my fitbit is not one of the apps that can connect. Honestly I prefer the fitbit than the Apple Watch.

Fabulous and Easy to Follow

I lost 6 pounds the first day!! I pretty such fast anyway, but now that I have notifications and reminders it is much easier. I love the self help articles too.

I like FastingForWeightLossApp the only thing I would tweak is not everyone has a step tracker I personally use my fitness pal and I love how you can put your exercise in and it calculates your calories I wish you have a conversation chart for exercise to steps

Great App

I just started using FastingForWeightLossApp, but what I am seeing is great. It is helping me learn how to fast correctly and good eating habits. I actually already feel better. It also helps track my water intake and steps. I also love how cheap it is. I looked at some other options like noon etc and they were upwards of $200 and FastingForWeightLossApp cost me 50 for the whole year! Love it.

I stumbled upon FastingForWeightLossApp looking for fasting apps. I’m on day 3 and I love it so far. It was a little bit of clicking to figure out how to maneuver through FastingForWeightLossApp but so far so good. There’s some spelling errors but I get the point. I was trying to edit the fasting start time but couldn’t figure that out.

I love FastingForWeightLossApp. The only thing I would change would for there to be more options to filter meals based off certain diet restrictions. I’m vegan and it would be very helpful to be able to search meals based off them being vegan, gluten free, or whatever other restrictions or preferences people may have.

A way to set this apart

FastingForWeightLossApp is pretty good. It would be cool if you got random notifications throughout the day saying that you’re doing a great job. Sometimes when I’m fasting I scroll through things just to keep me from eating you can use this to your advantage by like adding a game or something small like that within FastingForWeightLossApp

Worth it to me

60 dollars a year isn’t bad for getting your health back on track, i like how it gives you recommendations, you can ask if you can eat/drink certain things during your eating period, it tracks drink intake and your steps for the day. Honestly if you are trying to get back into the hang of things I’d recommend FastingForWeightLossApp.
