The features are great but it will not work on the iwatch alone without constantly getting popups saying to put the iPhone in Your pocket. If you put the iPhone in the golf cart and get more then 10 feet from the phone, the iwatch app doesn’t work. I don’t want to have to carry the iPhone with me while playing. There are other apps I have found and used that work independently of the iPhone and have similar performance.

Just way too many bugs and when I try to help, the response gets slower and slower until no response at all. Entire hole missing on a gps course, reported several times and no fix after months, watch wind, watch elevation constantly wrong, hope it works someday but moving on for now.

I have enjoyed TangentGolf . Just started paying for it, but I do hope you all do current updates to drills. Keep improving please. But has so far been best apple with the AI caddie

I loved it during the trial. But blocking watch usage from the free version ruined my experience. I don’t need the videos. So it’s too expensive for my basic needs.

Over the last few years I have used multiple golf apps to analyze my game and help me to improve. This is far and away the best I’ve found. I hesitated a bit at the price but after the free trial I knew it was going to be worth it. I subscribed after only one round and expect to be a user of Tangent for a long time to come. I did communicate with the developer about an addition to TangentGolf that I would like to see; a greens reading map. He explained that the reason for not having it was the prohibitive cost of acquiring that technology. I totally understand but I hope that the Tangent app is so successful that it can be added later. I for one would be happy to pay a bit more if that feature were added. TangentGolf not only tells me what I need to work on but also provides the drills I need to use to improve those areas of my game. I also really like that I can open a round later and edit the data for accuracy. Thanks to the developer and best of luck reaching the golfing world with this extremely useful app.

I’ve been able to shave a few strokes in a short period of time by practicing better. I’m confident that I will keep improving.

I was iffy on PAR Golf beforehand because I typically hate pulling out my phone or trying to track stats. Your setup made it so easy and painless- thank you!

This is a great golf app!! You can tell the creator actually plays golf and understand what it takes to improve your game with the stroke gained features. The practice suggestions are perfect and TangentGolf is full of features.

TangentGolf just keeps improving. Great swing detection with good battery life on the Watch. Analysis is second to none.

New, but impressed so far. Easy shot tracking. Love the driver dispersion when you tap for yardages. Post round is top notch. Developer passionate and helpful. Great stuff.

Super easy to use and the statistics afterward are spot on. Yardages worked perfectly from my phone and I was able to keep track of the scores from others in my group. Highly recommend!

This is such an underrated golf app. It has practice regimes/tracking, an amazing Apple Watch app and actually has a smart caddy that takes your dispersion with each club (along with distance) into account. Great developer to support also!

I’ve used TangentGolf for going on 3 years now(can’t remember old name) but I have had zero issues. My goal was to find an app that worked with my Apple Watch and I did that. TangentGolf on the standard subscription is perfect for courses without a screen on the carts.

The subscription is where TangentGolf succeed. Pre tangent TangentGolf was still worth it giving you the ability to track your shots automate with the Apple Watch and give stats for the round. I love the ability to look back at old rounds and see what I need to work on. The amount of data you can imput like GIR,FIR,where you strike the ball, or even your confidence level. TangentGolf has it all and more especially with the watch compatibility.

The watch shows you the distance to front, center, and back as well as multiple screens with one showing your score aswell as a picture of the hole. If you have the watch look no further, this is the best bang for your buck.

New to golf and needed some help. TangentGolf was recommended to me and I can’t believe how easy it is to use, how well things integrate between my watch and my phone. It’s easy to use and extremely helpful to this newbie with golf! Customer service easy to get a hold of as well.

This is the best golf app out there. It takes all the best from other apps and uses it to help you get better. Well worthy price of one round of golf for a year subscription to have all the premium features. It has already helped my game tremendously

I love golf, and I love improving. Tangent gives me the data and insights that help me understand where I need to focus on my game, and the drills and coaching to get better. Plus, it's very easy to use, and works great with my Apple Watch. I definitely recommend TangentGolf - Dallas the developer has done a great job, and continues to improve TangentGolf !

TangentGolf is terrific! Makes tracking your progress as a golfer so much easier and gives you insights on the course you’re playing. The caddie feature is awesome as sometimes you think you’ve grabbed the right club but a suggestion from TangentGolf can make all the difference! As a new golfer TangentGolf is an absolute godsend, and I get the same reviews from my more experienced golfer buddies. Highly recommend! Keep up the good work PAR!

I used to use another system to track my shots gained but wanted to try something different this season and Tangent Golf fit my bill.
I’ve always struggled at this one particular course but when I used Tangent Golf, I was finally able to hit my index. I realized as I was using the AI caddie, my previous rounds were a disaster because my Club selections were all wrong. It does take a bit getting used to because there’s a lot of info there but it was easier get familiar with than I had originally thought.
I love TangentGolf!

OK OK OK OK - in all fairness I have NOT used the Arccos technology but I will say I have watch a ton of videos about it!!

I am here to say that the TANGENT app measures up to that app and possibly even more! Here’s Why:

1. SUPPORT - if I have an issue with ANYTHING concerning TangentGolf the chat team responsiveness is FIRST CLASS!!

2. USER-FRIENDLY - this is developed by a golfer who understands that while technology is important, TangentGolf is built to run on its on in the background while you enjoy your round!! FLAWLESSLY!!!! NO EXTRA EQUIPMENT NEEDED outside of the Apple ecosystem.

3. FLEXIBILITY - with TangentGolf whether you are one that gets very granular with your numbers or you just want snapshots and an app that keep scores of your rounds it handles both kind of users and anyone in between!!

4. AFFORDABLE - with TangentGolf you get sooooo much value for what it cost per year. It’s worth every penny and cheaper than what’s out there.

I can go on and on about TangentGolf but I recommend you try it and find out for yourself and come back to reviews and leave one that tells folks how you can NOT play a round without it!!!

SPECTACULAR APP folks!!!

I’ve tried all of the other golf gps apps, but I am an infrequent golfer so I never wanted to pay a monthly or annual subscription if I didn’t know how often I will be able to utilize it. Having the credit system has been perfect for me so that I can just add on the advanced course features when I play. This feature is why I solely switched to just using Tangent. I am also a big fan of the caddie club suggestions as it has helped me with my course management which has had a big impact to my game and scoring. I really like that it integrates with my apple watch and detects swing as I usually forgot to input clubs and swing manually with other apps. Just another big plus to TangentGolf is support. I had some questions and suggestions with TangentGolf and received prompt responses each time.

Dallas and crew are on it. They have a great app and aid for golfers that are serious about the game, but the are not content and are making constant improvements and adding capabilities to TangentGolf . 👍👍👍👍👍
