I got a fire tv and remote a while ago. The tv came with a remote. My remote no longer works so I came here in hopes of being able to use it. I find out that before anything I have to pay to use it. I bought the tv and the remote came with it. I WOULD HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO REASON TO BE HERE, IF THE REMOTE DIDN'T BREAK SO WHY NOT JUST BUY A NEW REMOTE!!! Had it been free I would have given it five stars, even if I didn’t need it because it shows that the company respects its users. Instead I’m faced with the decision of getting a subscription so I have to play them all year round or just buy a new remote. If you put more than ten seconds of thought into this then you would see how much of a scam this is. I wholeheartedly hope that no one ever buys this because the only way I could see that happening is they didn’t think this through.

The lag time between pressing the action and it actually populating is absurd. Purchased FireStickRemoteFireTV for $40 because my physical remote was draining a set of batteries every one to two days. Although I checked the box to “remember this device” still have to do check the box every time when opening FireStickRemoteFireTV …. Here’s the kicker, need to use the physical remote to check the dang box that says remember this device. So I still need the actual remote. Just ordered a new remote, hope the new one does t drain the batteries too 😡🤬🫣😵

It took for ever to finally connect app to my fire stick. It lags between when you press FireStickRemoteFireTV buttons and the stick performing what you wanted. Each time you press something it takes about a second for the stick to do something. So if you want to move across 10 items on the stick it takes ten seconds to perform all ten items. To bites waiting to everything to happen. I don’t recommend FireStickRemoteFireTV at all!!!

So I got FireStickRemoteFireTV bc my remote isn’t working. I’ve tried new batteries, everything it told me on the screen, even smacking it a few times. Nothing. So I was like “ok I’ll get FireStickRemoteFireTV ”. Aside from the fact you have to PAY TO EVEN USE FireStickRemoteFireTV (after the free trial that is only 3 days), you NEED your remote to connect it to your tv! I assume most people downloading this is bc they’re remote doesn’t work (like me) or is lost. Either way, I can’t use my remote to “get an ip” or “debug” or anything like that,so if your phone doesn’t connect immediately and you have no remote then you’re screwed. AND REMEMBER you have to PAY to use FireStickRemoteFireTV. Anyways, this is my 13th reason.

It works when it wants to due to connection with Wi-Fi. It will constantly be looking to signal no matter how many devices are connected it still will connect when it wants to. One day it will connect and another day it won’t like plz fix this issue for otherwise it’s a great app

My daughter has used the fire stick remote app for sometime and has been very impressed with how smoothly it interfaces with the TV. and has recommended it highly. I am in the midst of getting FireStickRemoteFireTV myself and look forward to the flexibility I’m sure it’s going to provide..

I tried using my remote the batteries were exploded. And caused a lot of corrosion around it,I use my phone a lot so having a remote hooked up to the phone is actually better than having a remote I appreciate this site

This is the best thing since sliced bread! I keep losing my fire stick and I click it so much that I destroyed it! My son downloaded FireStickRemoteFireTV on my iPhone and it works so well that I may never use the Stick again!!

OK, I lost my TV remote, and I searched and searched and searched, but I couldn’t find it. So, I took to FireStickRemoteFireTV Store I scoured for apps, and then I found FireStickRemoteFireTV. It is the best app I’ve ever used. I will pay you to find something better, but wait I don’t think you could because you can’t. This is the best app I’ve ever used. I’ve never used such a good app. as a matter of fact, I would argue that FireStickRemoteFireTV is even better than a real TV remote.

I cannot speak about FireStickRemoteFireTV because I just downloaded it and have not used it yet but I do recommend fire stick because of the easiness of it and cost savings compared to traditional tv. Get a fire stick, give it a shot and I bet u will use it for a long time.

I have 5 televisions and a fire stick on each and every one of them, plus I have an extra one I carry with me when I travel I plug it into a hotel tv and have all the programs I enjoy at me fingertips. Fire stick is about the best entertainment value out ther. I don’t leave home without it!

After an unfortunate accident my mother was placed in a rehab for physical therapy to allow her bones to heal. The facility had basic TV, but we were able to get her Fire-stick from home, and so far she has been able to enjoy or regular programming.
Our family is so grateful to have this piece of go to provide our mother peace of mind.

I would rate this five stars for a rating because of its capability but it’s connectivity used to be pretty good but now it’s getting to be pretty lousy. Sometimes it does not even connect at all for several minutes. The first version they had was perfect but now…. Well, see for yourself..

This is a blessing to me! I lose my remote frequently and my little people lose it just as often, so being able to have this Firestick remote on my phone has been great. And even better for when I just don’t feel like getting up to get the remote from across the room!

I have had my stick for three years in a travel trailer. I have enjoyed my stick until this week when my remote stopped working. Without the remote I can not even turn the stick on. So I am going to try FireStickRemoteFireTV on my phone and see if I can start enjoying my stick again.

FireStickRemoteFireTV is very useful for me and my family! My other controller didn’t work and this is a big thanks! My little daughter kept chewing the remote so i think that is why it stopped working, and we also kept on replacing the battery every 2 hours! It was terrible for us, thanks to you guys i can watch tv again!

This is the best remote app to get it works perfectly and it doesn’t cost a lot do if I was you I would get FireStickRemoteFireTV and download it great choice you will love how it works so go ahead and do whatever you have to do to download FireStickRemoteFireTV and buy for cheap the remote always works never gives you problems you can use it on any tv you add on

FireStickRemoteFireTV is very useful and it comes in handy bc when you just wanna watch tv and relax and it’s to late to go buy batteries for your remote or if it just stops working you can download FireStickRemoteFireTV and use it !! I’m so excited bc now I can watch my favorite shows and not have to worry about my remote messing up or stop working !!!

I’m in the process of moving and it’s not easy work. In the process of setting up my tv I ended up bringing the wrong remote. How awful is that so after deciding to download the remote to my phone it was going to charge me. Then it allowed me to use FireStickRemoteFireTV for free once I submitted a review. I think that it is very unique that fire TV and the fire stick allows you to use your phone as a remote for a secondary go to especially whenever your remote may be replaced due to your children or you just misplacing it yourself most definitely comes in and is most definitely a must get.
