I’m not normally one to go out of my way to negatively review something. But SoundScrubToneGenerator 1- kept promoting an upgrade to premium, 2- made basic features not easy to use because hitting the wrong button that looked like it would begin the noise led to another upgrade ad, and 3- when it finally did start making noise, it immediately presented another irrelevant ad that seemed like an opening for a virus. The feature itself of vibration and sound was functional without having to purchase the upgrade, but to me it was not worth fighting through such a questionable series of ads. Looking up “water eject sound” on Apple Music did the trick for me instead.

I got water in my speaker right before movie night with my boyfriend. i needed to get it out quickly so i looked up some things i could do. i saw a bunch of people talking about a widget and so i got SoundScrubToneGenerator. i tried it out and it didnt work. in fact, it messed my speaker up and now i have to save up for a new phone. all the 5 stars are bots. dont listen to them

Was very annoying about SoundScrubToneGenerator is every time I use it asks for an upgrade. really to have a simple water ejective is a very nice thing I realize a software writer wants to get paid but then either make it a paid app or a freeware app demonstrating what you can do. But you can’t use SoundScrubToneGenerator without being hit up to upgrade it, it’s not the only app that does it but it is annoying!

Dropped my phone in a puddle (as we do), and got the dreaded “Water Detected, Don’t Charge Phone Until Dry” message. First, I cursed, then I googled “How to dry iPhone charging port”. SoundScrubToneGenerator was recommended.

I turned it on “Heavy” (warning… super annoying sounds) with the phone submerged port side down in rice for 15 minutes.

Turned it off, plugged it in, and voilà. Phone charged!

Dropped my iPhone in the pool for 5 seconds and it seemed fine but started to get static and ran SoundScrubToneGenerator and it’s back to normal if not even better than before. Wow, I thought for sure I was going to Apple for another speaker which has happened before with a previous IPhone.

My iPhone was giving me a message that it wouldn’t work cuz moisture in it. It had had a lot of water spilled on it. I used SoundScrubToneGenerator and ran it twice and it cleared. As a bonus, my sound quality was noticing better than it had been in a long time. Now I run this regularly to clear any dust or gunk that got thru the speaker holes

I swore this was going to be fake. You don’t need to purchase the premium version for it to be effective. Open SoundScrubToneGenerator and try the “Manuel eject” setting. Put it on Heavy and press the start button. Got the water out very quickly; within minutes the speakers were sounding normal.

Fell asleep in the bathtub holding my phone. It was a quick dunk- I dried it off and thought.. well maybe no harm. But tried to plug in my charger and got the notation that moisture was detected to abort electrical charge. So I did SoundScrubToneGenerator a couple times and everything seems fine!

On a Hike my one of AirPods had gotten loose and fell into a puddle. Seeing if it was fine I put it back in my ear after wiping it on my coat. The quality was horrible! And I was scared I’d have too buy a new pair, I checked what I could do on Google and it told me to SoundScrubToneGenerator WHICH saved my AirPods do not sleep on this!!!!!

Only got my iPhone 14 wet just a little bit. Dropped it as I was rushing the the automatic sprinkler. By the time I realized it, my phone was covered in water. Water eject seemed to do as it’s promised. Paid for SoundScrubToneGenerator in hopes I would never have to use it. But I’m glad I had it. Pretty sure it saved me from have to call apple care for a replacement and a deductible.

I’ve never rated an app before but this was worth the money. My speaker started crackling tonight. I let SoundScrubToneGenerator do its thing and within ten minutes, water came pouring out of my speaker. I didn’t even know I got my phone wet. Sounds way better now!

While at the beach a big wave suddenly and completely soaked me with my phone in my pocket. I didn’t even realize that my phone speaker wasn’t working properly anymore due to the water damage until the next day. I found SoundScrubToneGenerator 2 days after my phone was soaked and it fixed the speaker distortion. I had to run it twice but it worked!!! Thank you!!!

After a wave took me down at the beach my phone wasn’t letting me charge it because it said it had water inside. Downloaded SoundScrubToneGenerator and after using it on C frequency on high a couple of times it finally let me charge. I was at 5% battery at that point. You just have to restart your phone after using it. SoundScrubToneGenerator save my phone. Thank you so much

I was washing dishes and got a little bit of water on my iPhone which didn’t allow me to charge it. Left SoundScrubToneGenerator on (the heavy setting) for 10 minutes then I was able to charge my phone.

Dude, it seriously saved my phone.
I walked through heavy rain and and my phone got a little wet. I could barely hear anything on my speaker… it was sooo quiet! So downloaded SoundScrubToneGenerator and it fixed it. I am so happy that it worked! 😁

SoundScrubToneGenerator works amazingly well! I spilled water all over my phone and the speaker sounded muffled. I used SoundScrubToneGenerator and could instantly feel water coming out of the speaker. My phone’s speaker works perfect now! Thank you to the creators of SoundScrubToneGenerator 🫶🏼

I dropped my iPhone in a bucket of dirty fish water while cleaning my fish tank and my speaker wouldn’t work. It sounded super quiet when turned all the way up and was crackling. I downloaded SoundScrubToneGenerator and now my speaker sounds great again.

Dropped my iPhone 14 into a salt water marina. Submerged 1.5 hours before I could find and get it out. Speakers were absolutely shot and could barely hear them. For $3.99 I figured why not try it…. WORKED GREAT. Speakers are back to normal. Absolutely worth it!

But it saved my phone’s speakers! I accidentally forgot my phone on the ledge of the hot tub and it fell in and I didn’t notice for over an hour. Apple says up to 30 minutes in water is safe, so I was nervous and shut the whole phone off and let it dry overnight before charging. I woke up and found that the phone was working, but the speakers sounded terrible!! I was skeptical that an app could fix it, but the apple watch does a similar trick, so I figured it wouldn’t hurt. It was amazing! Phone sounds great again. I wish I would have known about this sooner!

Could have been an incredibly simple app with one button. But they had a vision. They saw the fun a person can have changing the hertz and unnecessary light, medium, and heavy modes. They have A B and C sound systems that are completely unnecessary for water ejection but it keeps you in SoundScrubToneGenerator long after the water is gone. I have the urge to get my phone wet again so I can play with my off brand DJ app to make an EDM tribute to Steve Jobs for allowing me to have fun in such an unexpected place.

I take my phone in the shower so I can listen to podcast or just music and when my phone speaker goes low because of water in it I use SoundScrubToneGenerator and it works likes charm everytime.

I never wrote App reviews like ever, but after dropping my phone in the shower like a dummy, (it was in a waterproof case) and got water in the right speaker, SoundScrubToneGenerator saved my life, as I was about to go to bed, I work early in the morning, and I was freaking out about plugging in my phone to charge. For such little money, SoundScrubToneGenerator removed all the water from my phone in the matter of minutes. I will tell all my friends about SoundScrubToneGenerator, because this is genius.

it seems to work pretty well on my iPhone 8+, it's best to put the phone sound on Mono before starting the Tones. it seems to help improve the "Stereo Sound" after using the Tones, remember to shut off the Mono after using the Tones.

I did not think this was gonna work. I had set my phone on the sink behind the faucet (I know) for louder sound. Water end up getting in the speaker and it was muffled but after SoundScrubToneGenerator it actually worked.

I spilled my glass full of water, and my phone happened to be nearby. So of course, it complained about water being in the charging port. Now, I’m not normally one to think these things work, but I was frustrated enough with having to wait and my phone not being above 10%; so I tried SoundScrubToneGenerator. I let it run for a few minutes on high, and now I couldn’t be happier because it’s now charging.

Once me and my grandpa went to a restaurant and it was raining hard then when I got out of the car my phone fell down from the seat and I was in the for about 2 hours when I saw my phone the pouring rain I was scared and then I immediately downloaded SoundScrubToneGenerator and then there was like a puddle of water doing down from my phone so that saved me from a whooping

It sounds silly but it WORKS. I dropped my phone in the shower and it wouldn’t let me charge it, brand new phone too. Used SoundScrubToneGenerator and played around with it and after a few tries and blowing in the charging port my phone is charging and all dry. Took 10 mins. Recommend

Wow it really does work I got my iPad near water and when I connected the charger it whorls be a message of water detector so I went to SoundScrubToneGenerator Store and got this one and. My problem was gone within 5 min 10/10 recommend
