HITSTER doesn’t seem to work on apple. Was playing with group of people and it only worked on samsung phones. HITSTER could not read the barcodes. I am using spotify premium on apple.

this app app repeatedly required reconnecting with Spotify throughout the game on nearly every card draw. Something is incredibly broken in HITSTER. You’re better off playing without using HITSTER at all. Have the DJ not participate as a player so they can look at the card and manually search for the song title in Apple Music or Spotify. Developer: We played with HITSTER on an iPhone 13 Pro running iOS 17.5.1 using Spotify premium v 8.9.48.455 streaming with AirPlay to Sonos speakers. Home network is rock solid with a reliable internet connection. Tried closing every other app on the phone and got the same broken behavior.

Fun game, but it either is missing the song in Spotify Premium and/ir disconnects from Spotify every other song. Super bummer.

Played with our friends and seemed to work fine. Bought a set for us and have tried to get it working in 4 different phones. DOES NOT WORK!!! How can you sell an app dependent product and not make sure it works? Spent money on a game we can’t play!!

I just got the game in the mail and tried to download HITSTER to my iPhone and it froze. I deleted HITSTER and restarted my phone and it won’t move past selecting your language preference. So frustrating!

This is a great game, but it never works with Spotify. Either Spotify is the problem, or HITSTER is, but it feels like HITSTER is the problem. Please fix this! If you make a game like this, you should really make an app that works. It’s 2024.

If I could get my money back, I would. 75% of the time HITSTER doesn’t work and therefore the game doesn’t work. We have to do a workaround where the DJ just looked the song up on Spotify Spotify, which defeats the purpose of the game. It’s a very cool concept, but they clearly can’t pull through. Almost every time we scan a song it will say this song isn’t available and silence plays. But then we look up the song on Spotify and it’s there. It’s also not a matter of having a Spotify account or not because I actually pay for Spotify premium so there shouldn’t be any issues.

Tracks not found or nothing plays half the time. I have Spotify premium but the interface between this app and Spotify does not work seamlessly.

Had some friends over tonight to play the game and I had to keep re-authorizing HITSTER ’s connection to Spotify or restarting Spotify. App is in need of a serious upgrade on iOS. When it works the game is very fun and the concept is brilliant. Please fix the experience. Thanks.

Me and my mom are OBSESSED with this game. We’ve had no problems with HITSTER using both Spotify free and premium. But PLEASE GIVE US BOOSTERS!!! We need this game on a cards against humanity level, it might be a problem but we can’t stop. We live breathe and bleed music
