Doesn’t work as advertised … read the fine print before you purchase

2024-06-21

Like I’m going to keep this running via AllMyBatteries switcher so it will work as intended. iPhones have enough problems as it is running applications in the background. Not really your fault since it seems to be an iOS limitation, but AllMyBatteries is pretty much useless to me. I’m not going to remember to make sure AllMyBatteries is launched and thusly keep it in the background running via the task switcher. Sorry but AllMyBatteries isn’t for me. What a pity. I paid for the upgraded personal premium version, too. My fault, should have tested further.

Doesn’t work with AirPod Pro

2022-11-25

Downloaded for a more accessible way to keep track of my airpod charge and found that AllMyBatteries says that my airpods aren’t supported.

Doesn’t able to detect my brand new AirPods Pro

2022-12-26

Doesn’t able to detect my brand new AirPods Pro, just today I brought it.

Unreliable

2024-02-28

Not sure if I'm missunderstanding the function of AllMyBatteries but the devices sometimes don't update for about a month. For something that measures battery levels I would think it would ping those devices in as close to real time as possible. Even the devices on which it's installed don't update with any frequency that's useful. If it worked the way it's supposed to it would be an indispensable app. As it stands it's marginally useful at best.

Annoyingly kept asking to review…

2024-08-08

Just purchased because the free version limited the number of devices you can add to 3. For $2.99 you can add unlimited devices. Only negative was it kept popping up asking to review! I’ve only had AllMyBatteries for 10 minutes for crying out loud! I’m taking the time to review because so far, it seems like it’s exactly what I was looking for AND to stop the darn requests to review! If it turns out to be a wasted $2.99 I’ll circle back and update this review but like I said, it does seem to be exactly what I was looking for and we’ll worth the $2.99.
UPDATE:
Save your money! Rarely works. Have to keep refreshing AllMyBatteries to update. AllMyBatteries itself has to be deleted and reinstalled constantly on the various devices for the various devices to see each other. Someday it may be what you want… but it’s not there yet!

Refund requested

2024-04-15

Great concept, but AllMyBatteries does not show updated battery levels of devices. FAQ has multiple reasons, explanations, and “fixes”, but I’m not looking to spend 2 hours trying to make a purchased app work. All my devices are at 100%, but the widget shows the charge levels from 8 hours ago. If Apple restricts the ability of a Lock Screen widget to retrieve battery levels, then maybe don’t sell an app with a Lock Screen widget as the main selling point. If I have to manually open AllMyBatteries and/or refresh the device list, what’s the point? Refund requested. And a side note? Please stop with the “you gonna” in your documentation. “… you gonna need to remove the exist one then re-add it.” Pasted that directly from the FAQ. Seriously?

Very Bad Sync Through all devices

2024-04-29

Made sure to the keep AllMyBatteries run in background setting on and still have to go and open AllMyBatteries in the foreground and refresh for the battery % to reflect. Very bad if it needs to do that 95% of the times.
Defeats the purpose of tracking on say Mac for all my devices.
I was happy initially but long term I don’t think I will keep using it.
And also AirPods battery and Apple Pencil battery sync is finicky at best and straight up doesn’t work most of the times, syncs in 10 days of some stuff line.
Wouldn’t recommend to friends or family.

Great idea, poor execution

2024-10-15

Love the idea & that the developer isn’t tracking you, but AllMyBatteries does not update frequently enough to be useful, & I have background app refresh on.

I have multiple alerts for low & high battery levels on all of my devices since I try to limit charge levels to reduce battery wear, & all of the high charge alerts almost always arrive in a burst well after the device is fully charged, & the low charge alerts in a burst after the device dropped below the specified charge levels, was charged, & taken it off the charger!

Setting up shortcuts via iOS is much more timely for iPhone battery levels, but I don’t think it’s possible for the watch (or at least I haven’t figured out how to do it!)

It will be a moot point once I replace my devices since the newest iPhones include charge limits, & I won’t be getting another Apple Watch unless the battery life improves at least 10-fold. (If Garmin can make a smartwatch that lasts 7-10 days doing everything I use my Apple Watch for, why can’t Apple?)

Lock Screen widget bugged

2023-07-02

The lock screen widget does not show proper battery percentages it does not update on its own.

Not real time but still real handy

2024-02-28

**Update has mostly fixed sync issues**

The free app will monitor up to 3 devices but any more than that requires that you pay. I don’t know how often it refreshes the battery percentage but it’s at least an hour or more late when I check it. I was hoping it would be real-time at least on the device it’s running on. I can deal with it not being updated on other devices. Could use some more lockscreen options other than off-white icons.

If you want 5 stars, developer …

2024-03-26

Dear Developer: if you want five stars for AllMyBatteries, please make it so that the Apple Watch complication slot of AllMyBatteries always displays the lowest-charged device. If you do that, then I can stop using the competing app, PowerToYou. At present, I use both apps on my watch because I need that one feature that your competitor has and you don’t have.

Battery App

2024-06-19

It’s a really cool and neat app, and it is useful but the only probably I have with AllMyBatteries is that everytime I look at my lock screen to check on the battery percentage on my other apple devices it’ll says 100% until I click on it and then it’ll change down to the percentage it is currently on. Another thing I’m having issues about is if my iPad mini for example is on 50% and my phone says 100, I’ll check on AllMyBatteries and it won’t change; it’ll still say 100 when it’s really not

Exactly what I’ve been looking for!

2024-06-21

This a a great app with exactly what I want for my devices. Straight to the purpose of battery life without any other nonsense. I do have one item to work out with it- I have 2 pair of AirPods and cannot get the 2nd to connect. Both have unique names. Any help here would be appreciated. I’ve already went through all the steps with AllMyBatteries and with shortcuts. Unfortunately did not work.

After installing the update, adding the AirPods Pro 2 worked perfectly. Thanks

Great app! A few minor flaws

2024-04-06

Love AllMyBatteries. Does the job well. Just a few minor issues. Occasionally my phone battery is 1 or 2 percent inaccurate. All other connected devices seem to be accurate. Wish it had a few more battery features in it. Something that I would also like is if the dark mode was a complete black mode not just a dark blue. Feel like it would be more aesthetic and match more with the fact that light mode is fully white.

Seems to work very well

2024-06-19

This is my first review of the product, only having used it for a couple of days. For the most part, it seems to perform as expected. The graphics are actually quite lovely, and I am enjoying it. However, I can't quite seem to figure out how to manage my devices. You only get three (3) devices to attach, without having to pay a small fee. However, I can't seem to manage the three free devices, before I would pay for an unlimited amount. When I can figure that out, I'll be able to decide whether or not the rating should be five stars. For now, it's unclear to me.

Not the end all to be all but enough

2024-03-26

I bought this to check my phone & ipad batteries on my watch and it works but… i need to keep AllMyBatteries open in my recent apps to accurately read the info. There is lag in my ipad reading & i can’t get my airpods to update but otherwise AllMyBatteries works really well for the main reason i purchased it for. Keep up the good work & the updates coming!

live update

2024-03-11

i liked AllMyBatteries it’s so useful and i gave 5 stars first time then changed to 4 after using it
there is one issue it’s not updating the percentages on widget unless you open it.

This is great!

2024-04-11

I don’t normally leave reviews (most have enough) but this all is too nice not to add. I LOVE being able to add all my devices and see batteries for everything in a glance, as well as set charging notifications for devices I’m not around, so I don’t go to use my them and find they are dead because I hadn’t checked it in a while (Mainly my MacBook or iPad).

AllMyBatteries is simple, easy to use, very clean, and for only $2.99 it’s lifetime access. Thank you for making a great app for a great price.

Exactly what I was looking for

2024-04-21

Unlike some others, AllMyBatteries works well. You need to follow the hints. Leave AllMyBatteries open on your devices and make sure background refresh is on in settings. I love the lighting bolt when charging let’s me see when complete. Worth the $3 for unlimited devices. I use to see levels for iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and pencil and JLab headphones. Graphics are great!!

AMAZING

2024-10-17

AllMyBatteries is amazing. On one screen get all the information on your Apple devices batteries. If you’re an Apple geek like me you’ve got all of the Apple goodies, iMac, iPad, iPhone, Apple Watch and many more. Impossible to check each one individually without needing to go to each one to check the charged status. Now with AllMyBatteries you can check all your devices on one screen. Doesn’t matter what Apple device your using either. If it has a screen you’re good to go. If you own a lot of Apple devices buy AllMyBatteries you can add them all. If you just have three or less go with the free version.

Great!

2024-10-17

I’m on my MacBook for the vast majority of my screen time, so wanted something where I can see the battery level for all my devices with 1 simple click. This is the best I’ve found. You’re able to track all Bluetooth devices along with every Apple device in 1 place with their widget. It doesn’t always update as quickly as the Apple widgets due to what Apple gives it access to. But it’s definitely worth the trade off for the minor time delay!

Simple, streamlined, cost effective device management

2024-04-11

As someone who has several devices being able to check the battery life of devices i'm not curently on has been invaluable. As a full time student who works full time and someone who has a work set of devices and a personal set of devices being able to make sure I can see what I need to charge when this is fantastic! It's also great to make sure items are charge before a trip! One simple lifetime in app purchase and i'm sold!

Fantastic with some help from the developer

2024-10-17

I couldn’t make AllMyBatteries work at first for the lock screen widget everything else worked perfectly and is absolutely amazing. I would’ve paid three bucks for just that but I emailed three times back-and-forth with the developer and threw a little broken English. He absolutely fix my problem and took the time to do it. I cannot recommend it highly enough. I appreciate it and wanted to leave a review for him because he was such a help, my problem was making the lock screen widget display my particular devices you have to tap on the widget during the editing process to add your devices. I did not do it automatically from the widget that you will have on your regular home screen

Great app

2024-08-28

Although I am not willing to pay for premium the limit of 3 devices is enough for me. However I wish that it was 4 on lock screen widgets for symmetries sake, or at least have positionable slots. Either way it is a well thought out app for being something you won’t go to all that much. It’s the little things that matter like the battery looking like a sort of liquid that moves with the gyroscope in your phone, or how they give you a custom shortcut for AirPods battery checking. All together it’s a very good app in which I can only hope gets better.

Highly recommend

2024-04-13

Imma be honest …Apple has a crappy AirPod method when your tryna check to see your battery on your AirPods and your case …it’s so annoying plus when your AirPod case is showing a orange light you can’t check your battery unless you plug it up in a charger …I now don’t have to waste my time …thanks to AllMyBatteries I can check my battery just with a tap

Excellent App with great Shortcuts functions

2024-08-28

Been using AllMyBatteries for sometime & have used it in so many of my Shortcuts to monitor my many devices! It has been great!

v2.1.3 is still producing Force Sync error when running Shortcuts

However, the last update (v2.1.2), is now causing Shortcuts to error out every time Force Sync is used! “Could not run Force Sync: The operation took too long to complete. Please try again” I needed to disable many Automations using this, please fix as soon as possible! Thanks!!

A Very Satisfying Solution

2024-08-23

Solves the issue of not being able to track the battery level of your iPhone from your iPad and vice versa, plus you can up to 20 devices. One of the only apps that allows me to literally track ‘all my batteries’ in the same convenient widget. Highly Recommended!

Great battery monitor app

2024-09-23

Finally, a battery monitor app that can track my iPhone, Apple Watch, iPad, and even my hearing aids across all my devices. Tapping my watch complication brings up all my devices. Notifications are accurate and work across all my devices as well. Well-designed and thought out. Thank you.

Please help

2024-04-11

I purchased AllMyBatteries and added all my devices but it is having trouble refreshing in the background, I already made sure all setting are on but when I open AllMyBatteries it says something is blocking it from refreshing, any suggestions?? Thank you in advance!

Amazing app. Very handy

2024-04-13

It is so nice being able to keep all of my ecosystem, batteries and check on one device. Being able to set up notifications. Also, remind me if I left something unplug so that way I never have a dead battery when I need it.

Best battery app of all

2024-07-28

I have tried several battery apps, even paid for a couple, but none worked well across all my Apple devices. this app works perfectly across all my devices, M3 MacBook, iMac 2020, iPad Mini 6, iPad Pro Max 12.9, iPhone 14 Pro Max, Apple Watch series 9, and my iPod Pro Max headphones. Each and everyone of them appears in the application, and in the this app complication on my Apple Watch.

The updates to the percentages are frequent and accurate. Notifications are super simple to set up. Click a couple of choices are you are done. You can set both notifications for low battery at whatever percentage desired, and for high battery notification at whatever percentage desired.

I just wish all were are good as this one.

Update

2025-06-24

I bought AllMyBatteries so that I could more easily monitor my devices. Well it does not actually do that. My iPhone was clearly at 85% but AllMyBatteries said 63%. I cleared AllMyBatteries and allowed it to reconnect, and it read the same. 😭😭😭😭waste of money!
I was a finally able to get them all connected and it works now. Thank you just took a little extra patience.

Mac app! And it works well on Mac and otherwise

2026-08-11

I love that there's a Mac app for this. This is the primary app I rely on to track battery state of all my devices and accessories, so I see when something is dangerously low, such as a special-purpose iPad that usually sits on the shelf.

Excellent app!

2026-09-27

AllMyBatteries exactly solves my needs - telling me when my various devices start to discharge.

Most importantly, it somehow checks devices even while they sleep, so it works on my macbook and Ipad that I don't use often.

Perfect app, and very fair pricing!

Wow this is amazing

2025-09-27

The most useful batteries management app ever used, a great help for me.

Works great

2025-10-29

This is just what I need as I have quite a few apple Devices.

Amazing app!

Amazing app and customer service

2025-11-29

AllMyBatteries does exactly what it promises and customer service is fast and responsive. Highly recommend it.

Amazing app small feature request

2025-12-31

Amazing app haven’t had any issues with it yet! Tho I would love for the devs to add different size widgets, medium or large widgets would be great!

FR: Notification on charge reaching a particular percentage

2026-01-31

First off, very beautiful and functional app. Kudos.

One minor feature that would be great is to have notifications to stop charging on reaching a threshold, say 80% to preserve the long term battery life of the devices.
