I can’t even start to use Untangle . I enter an email address and keep getting the error message “you don’t have access to this community.” I tried both of my email addresses and received the same message. Disappointing. I could use the support…

I was looking forward to trying Untangle, but it’s mostly just people venting and posting their experience with grief, which can be helpful for some, but the comment section on posts don’t really offer any help or guidance. Scrolling the feed actually just makes me more sad and isolated as the replies were just things like, “that’s so sad” or no replies at all, and that’s not what I’m looking for. There ARE some resources that Untangled has provided, but the social aspect is not for me. I found myself feeling worse after reading about everyone else’s sadness. It kinda seems like a personal journal would be more beneficial, but maybe that’s just me.

The different groups sounded more helpful than they are, at least the one I joined is quite empty. Not much discussion going on. I like the idea of the zoom sessions but it looks like they’re recorded and posted for anyone with Untangle to see which I’m uncomfortable with since grief is such a personal thing. It’s a paywalled app so the recording would last longer than I would, no thanks.

The little time that I was on Untangle it was very well made and such a good community for grieves to be in. My one things is that it’s for 18 and above. I get they want people to be safe on the internet but teenagers need grief support too. They emailed me and acknowledged that teenagers need grief support to and sent links for ways to get help with grief when you’re a teen. I just think Untangle could have a lot of more potential if it was opened up to more ages

I loved Untangle for sometime till I had to pay for a subscription. I really felt a sense of community of support from fellow grieving people but I just couldn’t make sense of having to pay to use Untangle.

I’ve only been on Untangle for a day or two but the community feels very supportive. You can join groups that share similar experiences to your own. For example: “Sudden and Unexpected Loss” or “Cancer” or “Loss of a Parent” to name a few. You can join as many as you’d like. People can share the thoughts and feelings that they’re experiencing, quotes or tips surrounding grief or coping, memories of loved ones, etc. It’s nice to feel less alone.

There are also support groups, seminars, coping tools, help with funeral planning, and more built into Untangle . I haven’t used these yet, but will eventually try some of them out.

The look and feel of Untangle feels similar to the earlier versions of the Facebook or Instagram apps. I think that could use a little work to bring make it more user friendly.

This support system has made grief so much bearable! Group of ppl coming together and saying out loud things you couldn’t in the real world!

They have kept me alive and standing even though I wish I wasn’t.

Untangle has been a huge sigh of relief. Finally, a place where people understand life after loss.

Support, compassion, fellowship, practical information, professional psychological help, lots of topics, real people, mutual support, and more. Affordable and worth at try.

Very helpful in attaining support for people who are really struggling to find a release and understanding. I’m new but it has already helped me

I have been utilizing Untangle for the last few months and attending live events. It’s been a place that I’ve felt solace and community and less alone. If you’re facing grief - I recommend.

I LOVE. this app! I feel safe expressing myself there, and find support and comfort from the other members. I also appreciate the effort the admins have taken to create special groups for the different types of grieving.

I just lost my husband a few weeks ago and have been utterly lost and in despair. Untangle has given me new friends to support me in my journey… people who understand the pain I’m going through that no one else in my life truly understands. Untangle has been a total gift to me at a time when I have never suffered more. It’s definitely worth your investment if you’re going through a loss of any kind. ♥️

I lost my Dad Thanksgiving day. It’s been the most heartbreaking thing I’ve ever experienced. I just decided to sign up for this app’s 7 day free trial. It’s literally just what I needed at this time. You just don’t feel as lonely and the community support is so genuine and sincere.

Untangle has really helped me process through the grief I was feeling after the loss of my best friend. It helped me realized I was not alone and there were others feeling the same things I was feeling. It has been such a blessing.

Untangle has been so lovely and helpful during a period of life that is incredibly difficult and isolating. Even if you’re scared to share your own experience (as sometimes I can be) it’s immensely comforting to read other people’s stories that resonate with mine. Highly recommend Untangle.

I never write reviews but here I must. I knew before finding this community that relating to others’ and their experience can be helpful. But now that I’m using Untangle I am truly finding some comfort. Not just in sharing my experience but hearing about others’ and comforting them, complete strangers. I’ve yet to do any live meetings but maybe I will later. Definitely recommend Untangle!

The this app App has helped me in ways I didn’t even know.

On here I’m able to share candid thoughts about the death of our son without worrying about upsetting or boring our friends and family on social media. I know that every single person reading my post, on Untangle , has lost someone and has an understanding of what I’m going through. And if I want to only reach those that have lost a child, like me, I can do that. That definitely is not the case on Facebook or Instagram.

Then there’s the this app Team. I have personally witnessed the kindness and unselfishness of the team to help someone in need. They are just absolutely amazing people.

I just can’t say enough to convey how wonderful Untangle is for the grieving!!!
