Seems good

It seems like it is a nice and honest place to share your struggles although I havnt explored much as it literally abt 2 mins ago went public

Good but a little confusing

I love HumansAnonymous and the idea of it, its just that if someone new joins HumansAnonymous doesn’t tell you what the meeting are like. If there calls, just texting or getting paired up with a random person to talk to. I have yet to join a meeting so im confused and curious.

Incredible app!

Thank you for creating a safe space for us all

pretty good!

I think HumansAnonymous so far is pretty good. I gave it a 3 because i havent went to a meeting yet so i dont know how the whole app works. So far is pretty good and easy to use! Ill update my review after I get the full experience.

Used to be a safe space.

HumansAnonymous used to be a safe space for me. I can't count how many times i've cried with people on here. I have recommended HumansAnonymous to many people while they paid others to do it for 5 views but anyways. Many trolls have found HumansAnonymous and have been very racist on it. They also talk about raping people. One person told me that they always have the urge and if they don't let them do it they want to do it even more. In the rooms where there are sessions, you get three minutes to talk and there is always a mod named "Be Good". They are very quick to kick people if they aren't talking or fell asleep while waiting for their turn but as soon as someone racist, is a rapist, or someone who just talks about nothing comes in the mod let's it happen. I was banned and I don't know what for. I have never did anything to break the rules. I have always given people such a positive and welcoming space to talk to me when they need to but the one time I talk about an assault that happens to me I get banned. I have emailed HumansAnonymous and have not gotten anything back. I have went back on there one night because I was having such a bad day (Different account obviously) and even told everyone the situation. Many people texted me telling me that HumansAnonymous is wrong for what they did. I said my goodbyes and left then sent another email asking if they've seen it. Not a single word. These people are probably recording our audios and selling them. Be careful.

Liked it but could have more stuff

I have ideas, I know you guys aren’t reading this but I wanted to share because I think they’re good…

When HumansAnonymous first came out it had an option to write ur problems instead of joining a meeting.
I personally think it should have both, and option to join the meeting and another one to just type ur feelings and vent there (people could also respond to that) And add premium that could give you 1 more minute (for example) to talk more in the meeting, also if you have premium an option to give the person who’s talking a minute. Also send gifts to the people u want to if you have premium, like stickers! Premium could also include a more personalized app and more options, I mean, you guys could add options to personalize HumansAnonymous , like make at least 6 options to the people that don’t have premium and for the ones who do like 11 backgrounds for HumansAnonymous . Maybe with the streaks you could win more “emojis” instead of just sending hearts when people talk in the meetings also add “🥰,😊,🥹,💜,🩵,” and stuff like that, 2 days of streak you win one heart, 4/3 days another heart! And just like that till they have them all, if they don’t open HumansAnonymous for 2 days they loose one streak, at least open it for 1 minute to win a streak. I also have more ideas but this is ur app after all🙃 Good luck!

app spaces need at TW

I originally downloaded HumansAnonymous to feel comfort in going through a hard time. I thought it would be talk rooms for people in similar experiences to me. These rooms are only accessible at certain hours and a scheduled time. Outside of those times you have to sit in a community meeting for an hour plus before you can speak. I found many of these meetings triggering for things that no longer affected me and other sensitive subjects that I know others could feel unexpectedly triggered by ( TW ex: SH, ED, etc.). The other side of this meeting was having to hear a lot of peoples issues with relationships, parents, and friends which is great to have a space for but in contrast to the topics above there was no middle areas. I feel that there NEEDS to be mediators in HumansAnonymous. There needs to be specific groups for certain situations so people with mutual issues can be heard and hold a safe space 24/7 or at least a tag someone can add to their vent if someone wants to step out for it. Marketing HumansAnonymous as a form of online group therapy really felt like false advertising to me. It feels more of an online trauma dump space rather than a mental health oriented app. It doesn’t rely on any professional help but the other people going in to vent to give their own advice to each other wether wanted or not.

I wanted to love this app!

I wanted to love HumansAnonymous but there’s a few key issues I think can be resolved:
1. The schedule of meetings are too sparse with only 30 minute limits which doesn’t allow even a fraction of the people who want to share a chance to do so. I think it would be beneficial for there to be more opportunities to listen as well as share with our peers.
2. My hand was raised and I was 2nd up to share and unfortunately HumansAnonymous glitched causing me to be moved back in line, the meeting then ended before I got the chance to share.
3. The inability to skip or kick individuals out of the speaker position. I understand this could be used nefariously, however, there have been people who have sat in the speaker position for the full 3 minutes without saying anything which takes time from others who want to share
4. Lastly, I understand HumansAnonymous should be accessible to everyone, however, as an adult it makes it uncomfortable to share about personal issues I struggle with (dating and sex) with minors and teenagers in the room. I suggest implementing 18+ or even 21+ rooms.

Humans anonymously

Humans anonymously has helped me through so much mentally mainly because I can relate to what people on here are going through mentally and see that I’m not alone . Everyone supports everyone on HumansAnonymous no one to judge you because everyone understands and values what you’re going through. Mainly because they relate to you and also feel heard … the people on here can honestly give you so much motivation by shooting you a text on HumansAnonymous and the motivational texts after then hearing what you’re going through. Really makes you feel better and makes you feel less sad and instead of down you feel that you’re not alone .. and you’re very normal because we are humans we’re not perfect. But HumansAnonymous and the people on HumansAnonymous assures you will not feel alone no matter what you’re going through.

With improvements this will be big

Currently HumansAnonymous is like nothing I've seen before everyone is positive and supportive in a way i haven't seen on any other social media. But i feel as if it could be so much better if certain improvements could be made. I think that the 3 minute timer is limiting and with so many people its hard to get your time to talk and express yourself. Maybe if you had a few more minutes or could talk with others. The only other improvement i could think of is something like a “trust circle”, essentially its a group of people you have chatted with before that you have invited to a private but still anonymous group of other facing the same issues, this might function something like a clan in clash of clans. I think having the ability to talk with others anonymously like this is incredible and the people who have developed HumansAnonymous are wonderful!

By

such a good app.

if you’re considering to get HumansAnonymous, get it. And I mean get it right now!! I have had so many mental health issues throughout the past years, and HumansAnonymous has been a lifesaver. I absolutely love that you can join different meetings for different topics, share your thoughts, or just listen. Where everyone can give you positive feedback, and overall advice. I love that it’s 100% free and it’s just focusing on us humans and helping us improve and grow overtime. The cool thing is you can create a profile, choose any color , and it’s all anonymous. I love how we have time limits to talk, along with having the option to either talk or just listen. We Cann raise our hands if we want to speak, others can chat us, give us hearts, and it’s just my safe space,I love it .

Thank you for coming out with such an app <33

i highly recommend this app

when I first download HumansAnonymous, I didn’t expect much. I expected it to be just like every other app that makes you pay for everything. I just downloaded HumansAnonymous today and I am absolutely in love with it. It’s really good to just be able to listen to what other people are going through and what other people are struggling with to know that you are not alone because you will have a lot in common with other people and what they are struggling with and you have a three minute chance to just talk just vent you can ask for advice you can just sit there and talk and nobody knows who you are. I highly recommend HumansAnonymous. Thank you human anonymous.

Great Concept

Great concept however, I feel there is lots of room for negativity, hate speech, and harmful acts. Definitely room to grow.

Again, I love the concept but groups and communities should be divided by age for safety purposes. My first meeting I felt a little strange because when I joined a very young girl was sharing. Helping this girl overcome her obstacles and make her feel like she is in a safe space is important. But protecting children from certain adult problems is also necessary. I felt uncomfortable sharing in the presence of children and young teenagers for their own well being and mental safety. Certain stories will absolutely scare them, and be much too inappropriate for them.

I feel like sharing by talking is not always accessible too. Lots of people have roommates/family members that might not want to hear what they are sharing. For accessibility purposes text options should be available for smaller groups or communities.

How can we make HumansAnonymous safe for people using it by preventing the glorification of self harm? There are people that genuinely believe self harm is okay, and there are trolls that encourage self harm. There must be a solution found that prevents this from happening to keep people safe. Most users won’t share SH related topics, but again, there is room on HumansAnonymous for hate speech, negativity and the encouragement of harmful acts.

❤️❤️❤️

HumansAnonymous is so helpful, there are people on there who are willing to listen and start conversation, offer advice, and just be open and real. as someone who feels like i have been so alone in my mental health journey, HumansAnonymous has helped me SOO much. i cannot say how much i appreciate HumansAnonymous and the creators. i feel like being able to be anonymous and just tell your emotions and get it out, it helps you realised what you’re going through and that you arent alone. ive gotten many messages just by talking once of people asking to be my friend. talking through my feelings helps me not to harm myself and use negative ways to cope. there needs to be more free apps to help people with their mental health. ❤️❤️

Amazing and accessible

HumansAnonymous is a game changer. I wish this was around when i was younger and didn’t have option of accessing therapy and felt isolated. I love how you can choose to listen and not have to interact if you don’t want to. I’ve been using HumansAnonymous for only one day, and I’ve already joined a snapchat book club and reached out to a person to play video games together! This is great for people who work from home, teenagers feeling isolated, or anyone who wants to feel like they aren’t alone. One thing i wish we had was a few more reactions besides the heart, i like it but sometimes it doesn’t convey what i’m trying to express in the moment.

OMG AMAZING PLS TRY!!!! ❤️❤️❤️

I got HumansAnonymous about a week ago to try it. I literally love it! It’s not like you have to talk or you have to just sit and listen. You have the option weather to talk or not. You can also chat to people individually. There are different communities and it is easy to join and find one that works best for you. Everybody is so nice and so kind, and listening to their voices just feels amazing! I do have 1 recommendation and that is the timing of the meetings. I love having them, but sometimes the 8:00 ones don’t work for me, and that’s the only time there is. Other than that, amazing!! 10/10 💯❤️❤️❤️ (they did not pay me to write this lol)

Makes me feel less alone♥️

I love HumansAnonymous so so so much<3 it makes me feel less alone with what I’m going through in live. I’ve met some people that I know irl on here too. I definitely recommend HumansAnonymous. There’s different rooms you can enter about different subjects and for different people. 2 of the talk rooms are open literally all day. I love HumansAnonymous and I think you should give it a try to see if u like it. You don’t even have to have huge problems, it could be js to vent, to make friends, or maybe you js need to know that people care about you. But over all I 1000% recommend HumansAnonymous:)

Wow

Tonight was my first time using HumansAnonymous and it was absolutely amazing! I truly appreciated the support from others and all. I personally like that it’s a 3 minutes to share so everyone gets a turn but I get why some aren’t so fond of it. I do wish that it was more than just one hour to share everything just because I know people from other time zones might not be available when we do it. Maybe some day their could be a meeting every couple hours in case people need an outlet. Overall I am floored at HumansAnonymous and my adhd brain will definitely continue to use this outlet 🥰

By

This is a great app

I honestly was uneasy joining it because I thought it wouldn’t help and that people would be mean. I WAS SO WRONG!! It is so accepting and people are so nice! It amazing to here how much people relate to you and it helps you realize you are not alone. You get raw details that you can’t tell other people who don’t understand. And with that you get real advice from people who know it works or helps. It has helped me a lot. It’s also not as scary as you think to speak since no one can really reply other then messaging you!! I recommend this to anyone having a tough time!!

By

App is amazing but.

I love HumansAnonymous so much it’s help me meet so many amazing people and help me with my problems in my life. But I feel like there needs to be at 18+ section or something because the drastic differences in topics that people talk about is insane and the fact that a lot of kids (11 to 13, sometimes younger) I can hear a lot of messed up things about people and I feel like it can also cause people trauma just by hearing it. Cussing is a big one too, we should be allowed to cuss but the fact that kids are on here makes it harder

Got banned for talking lol

I legit just got banned for being happy and trying to share to everything what’s been going on in my life (one fault of mine is that I curse a lot so that could have smth to do with it) but like I legit don’t understand that, you can’t share what’s really on your mind? I was just having a good time. I love hearing everyone speak and the fact that I was banned is kinda sad. Just know if your trying to be positive they also might ban you for that xx ❤️ It’s whatever I loved all the people I made friends with and thank you to the people who have giving me advice ❤️❤️ love you guys so much and Ty for allow me to rant when no one else would listen to me I lost this outlet but it’s okay bc I’ll just cope in my head 💀 Kinda wish they had an 18+ chat room where it doesn’t have to be PG 🙂

Lovely app - some hopes and ideas

Honestly HumansAnonymous is really nice, hearing everyone’s stories makes you think about things differently and the advice that people give is really touching sometimes. It shows that you aren’t alone and talking to strangers behind a screen is way easier than a therapist or someone you know. I love HumansAnonymous honestly.

I wish we could friend people and have an open chat for the meeting to talk to each other even the people not sharing. Also a kick button like for the people that don’t know when it’s their turn so we don’t have to wait until their time is up.

best app ever !

I really love HumansAnonymous the second I went on my first meeting, it’s shows those who are struggling a sense of comfort that they are not alone. I do prefer a longer time to speak and meetings to be longer, just to let more people share because it runs out of time. It really helps those who struggling with talking about their feelings or speaking into a microphone. I really enjoy HumansAnonymous and I hope for more communities to help every cause. This is really making a change in my life and most likely in others so thank you to the creators of HumansAnonymous, doing something we all wished for… THANK YOU !!!

By

This is what an online community should be.

I’ve had HumansAnonymous for a week, and I’ve only listened in on a meeting so far but it is so refreshing and validating to see people be open about their struggles. The anonymity is crucial to the comfort you get from this experience, and I can confidently say I feel better after listening in today. Just give it a shot, it’s really lovely. And to the creators, this is a beautiful thing you’ve created and you should be very proud of what you’ve accomplished. I hope that HumansAnonymous grows and grows and grows. <3

such a good app

this is my second day on HumansAnonymous and all i can say is wow. HumansAnonymous is a very good way of teaching people that they are not alone and they have a big support system right behind them! HumansAnonymous not only lets you speak of your own experiences but lets people chat to you and tell you how they feel about your talking time and how they may be dealing with the same things. This is definitely a 5 star rating but i would like to add on to the 30 minute time period for all to talk. I do believe it is persistent and a organized way to keep it short and affective but not many people get to talk so i think an hour would be a great fit because not only does it give people a more open opportunity but others in different time zones as well (i also think there should be a feature for that). Overall i love HumansAnonymous and will be spending my nights on HumansAnonymous to share and to listen!

Potential ⭐️⭐️

I have enjoyed HumansAnonymous and see that there is potential for HumansAnonymous in the future! But I do think there should be some changes. I have been in meetings with 12-year-olds and 20-plus-year-olds. I would like to see meetings separated between minors and adults. I can't speak about my situation when a 12-year-old would like to include their insight and I don't feel comfortable speaking about adult problems to such a young individual. I believe there should be a moderator in meetings. There have been trolls taking up 3 minutes of the meeting playing silly noises or weird meme music. The meeting ends before people who need to speak can and there is a lost opportunity because of such trolls. Before each speaker, it would be nice to have a Tw button that pops up above the speaker's name stating they will be talking about sa, sh, or ed. If possible it would be nice if there were meetings throughout the night but I could see why this would be difficult to implement. Thank you, for making an app with the benefit of mental health in mind. I hope to see HumansAnonymous grow in the future.

Needs way more work

Rooms have schedules, seems like a chat chamber rather than allowing people to continue conversations and create deeper connections with those going through the same issues. Rooms should allow smaller groups, why do we need 1000 ppl before a room under a specific subject becomes made? Also majority of the people I heard LITERALLY ask for followup from others and there’s no option other than message or to provide your own number, why can’t y’all facilitate more rooms? Somethings need age restrictions, and often time people are high or drunk or etc. A adult there’s so much more y’all should have considered before releasing. Also ratings on HumansAnonymous aren’t accurate there are a lot of fake reviews. Sketch

Free therapy/venting

This is a really great app. In my opinion, I tried other therapy and talking abs but mostly everything you have to pay for which is really unfortunate. HumansAnonymous is 100% free and I haven’t seen anything you need to pay for yet except to customize your profile, which isn’t a basic need so overall HumansAnonymous is really really useful. I had my first meeting last night and they have multiple meetings throughout the night. I’m not sure about the day. each meeting is about an hour long and everyone gets three minutes to share, and if you need to, you can go to more than once. The people are really really nice and I haven’t met any trolls or anything on here yet. And there’s also report button if you are concerned about someone’s safety or if someone’s not taking up seriously.

There’s good options to mooch out to people after they speak, or when they speak in kinda get to know them, or talk to them about certain things. Overall, I really really recommend HumansAnonymous and I will be using it more.

Good App

I downloaded HumansAnonymous thinking I would be able to meet people with similar struggles and also share some insight I’ve learned through some months of therapy. It’s definitely a great app with great intentions behind it, it’s completely free and super easy to use. It’s basically just a space (mainly for teens) to vent. HumansAnonymous isn’t the problem, it’s the way people are using it. People need to know how to be empathetic and listen and communicate with others before they are give the space to just talk. The chat was just crazy and filled with lots of negative comments. I tried to counter a lot of the things people were saying about those who were sharing some really deep and personal stories but it was too much. A lot of the people using HumansAnonymous were really immature and invalidating. However, I think the timed chat is great if you just want to vent but please give trigger warnings and be mindful of what you say.

By

Amazing. Really.

Honestly I Downloaded HumansAnonymous off a whim since I kept seeing ads about it on TikTok and Instagram, so that’s what I did.

Then I joined my first meeting, and I honestly was blown away. Everyone’s sharing stories so freely because there’s no one holding them back! There’s amazing stories, people just ranting about their day, and then there’s others who you can really relate to in a way you never thought you could. I always try to catch meetings between school and I love listening to people so confidently and freely about their lives. You’re never alone, and HumansAnonymous really proves that. I genuinely can’t thank these guys enough for making something I hold really dear every day.

Very much needed app

I used to be afraid of opening up about my personal issues but being able to be anonymous on HumansAnonymous has helped so much and I just love how supportive people are on there.

I do hope that there could be a way to sort of filter who comes into each community. Big example is that there is a community for people who are in their 20-something’s, but there are people under 20 who join it instead of just joining the general community. It’s made me and other people a bit uncomfortable to have younger people join. Maybe doing an age confirmation thing or something? Another risk of not having certain filters is that there are communities such as LGBTQ+ and I worry trolls will enter and be harmful (I’ve already seen trolls filter into the other communities and spew racist/homophobic things).

By

Good app but could be better

HumansAnonymous has An amazing basis. It is so helpful and therapeutic to people going through a rough time or feeling alone. However the general chat is filled with a lot of kid (<18) and while it’s nice that this chat is 24 hours, the 20 soemthing a chat which is 18+ is only on for four hours and I think that’s bad. The adults would like to share in an age group specific for them because we cannot relate as much to the kids besides give some life advice. It’s a bit uncomfortable being 20+ and sharing in a room of people 10 years younger. I wish you would make the 20 something’s chat 24 hours like the general chat. That would make HumansAnonymous 5 stars.

By

Good concept, needs more work

I think this is a very cool way to express your feelings and create community, but there are a lot of flaws. Just from one meeting I was in there were a lot of minors. I think it is nice that they can have a place to vent and not feel alone if they don’t have anyone in their life to talk to, but also feel there needs to be a way to make sure minors are not oversharing personal info. and anyone reaching out to them have good intentions or just can’t message minors. Same meeting with minors there were multiple people being VERY graphic on how they used to do SH (and how they do it) There is a way to report but it was frequent users that join a lot of meets. So it concerns me on how much can we share without it being TO graphic/inappropriate or unnecessary. Overall I like the set up and how you can join in or just listen until you feel ready to share. There are different meets for lgbtq+, anxiety, relationships, varying career/age groups that happen at scheduled times which i thought was a nice feature. Hopefully with time there are more safety features and a stronger community with HumansAnonymous.

A little Review So Far

HumansAnonymous is very nice although I do think you should expand the categories a bit. As well as possibly making multiple rooms for some categories so that people aren’t waiting a long time to speak but that’s fine if that won’t happen now since HumansAnonymous is still pretty small. The one feature I really don’t like has to be the wait time to chat. It’s a little annoying to have to wait 10 mins to chat especially if you don’t want to speak up for a bit, I feel it may discourage users to chat if they have to wait in order to share out thru text. It’s also annoying that the wait immediately restarts once u leave the chat room but your still listening in on the person who’s speaking up. I don’t understand why that’s a feature but if u must can the wait time be a little shorter?

The moderators.

I was banned off HumansAnonymous for no reason dex was the moderator that was in the meeting I had joined. I went in and got the meeting started. I kept getting kicked out for no reason when I was the main person talking. I was accused of not letting others speak but in reality they just didn’t want to so I filled the silence. I had left the meeting for a little while but when I had come back dex kept removing me from the entire meeting. Dex told me the reason I was getting kicked was because I talked to someone in my house when it was my turn. I was flat out told I wasn’t allowed to talk to the people in my house by him then he gave me warning on warning cause I took a turn and expressed that how he was treating me was unfair and disrespectful. Then he told me I was only just burping I was in fact not I was speaking as well I don’t think I should be punished for the way my body functions. I have tried to email but of course I was ignored so now I’m here just to warn y’all that this apps moderators are disappointing and disrespectful towards the users of HumansAnonymous. I did nothing wrong and I should not be punished if anyone should be punished it should be the moderator dex.

Disregard

I joined HumansAnonymous when it was small and people who truly needed to talk about their emotions and feelings were on there, I recently stopped coming back because the moment i joined I heard someone saying how all women “open their legs” and are whores and I was very shocked, I have never heard anything more disrespectful and crazy, and then when I spoke about how that was wrong the people in the chat said I was picking a fight and calling me crazy. This was the only place I could really express how I feel and now it has just turned into people sharing stuff that is wrong and disrespectful and should not be said. I am hurt and disappointed honestly. I am not doing well and to be bashed and called crazy and annoying on HumansAnonymous that was supposed to be a place that was helpful and a safe space for other people is now being consumed of people who just want to bash other people is crazy to me. I honestly don’t think I will go on HumansAnonymous again after that.

Needs more moderation and trained personnel — plus different apps/interface for minors/adults

I am a therapist and decided to check this out. I was really shocked by how irresponsible HumansAnonymous is. The things people were sharing — probably 80% of the conversation was children sharing sexual abuse or self harm narratives. Almost all HumansAnonymous was 16 or younger. It felt weird and predatory at times, and like a bunch of kids trying to one-up each other about who had the worse trauma. There’s no clear way to follow through on reporting mechanisms. Kids should not be supporting kids about sexual abuse or self harm — some things need to be handled without anonymity and with adults present. Parents, unless your kid is already getting therapy, I would not recommend HumansAnonymous. Teens, if you’re getting on HumansAnonymous to “share your trauma” as many put it — I applaud your openness, but know that true healing of trauma requires evidence-based therapy. Adults — HumansAnonymous isn’t for us lol the kids are already all up in there. HumansAnonymous needs at least 1 trained counselor in each room at all times. It needs different interfaces for adults and kids. Without both of those things, it is irresponsible, hurtful and should fail.

Unfair

People go in there and talk about how they want to assault people, about how they want to end peoples lives, about them wanting to end their own. People go on there and talk all day about how men are trash, people go in there and have cash app names, Instagram, names, Twitter names, get into the chats and shout, racial slurs, and somehow don’t get banned, it’s a waste of time to be on there. If you say something someone doesn’t like, they can report you so many times that you get banned. But because you don’t report people who yell racial slurs and talk about committing murder and suicide, they get to stay on there. Also, there’s nothing stopping an adult from getting into the chat where the underage children are. So imagine all of these people I’m talking about, being able to get in chats with kids. For this reason, I give it one star, because someone who is mentally conflicted enough to download HumansAnonymous, who come to experience a space where they need a sense of community because they’re not getting it in real life, this is an unsafe space. this place is full of angry, miserable, wicked, manipulative people who thrive off to attacking people when you finally get your chance to speak because they disagree.

Suggestions

I love having both the talk and text chat feature. I suggest swiping to the left to get faster to chat area instead of button to get to chat maybe have the ability to be in line and be able to have a button continue to move back 1 spot to let the person behind you go first and you just move behind them and don’t have to go all the way back to the end of the line. Also possibility ability to have a noise notification when your up talking in case you were listening with your phone locked and screen notification pop up and a visual chat room notification maybe also to see the chat line profile pics in text chat room in small bubbles somewhere and Im new to app 2nd day I don’t know much about the chat rooms and why they are open at certain times but as from hearing from people in HumansAnonymous they suggest having more chat rooms open more times. And the personal messages button at bottom and maybe swipe left to get to that also with sound notification to know you got a message from person. I’ll email more suggestions if I think of any Or leave in feedback would love to get in contact and chat with you guys or even work for you or volunteer.

Almost everything is paid, nearly unusable.

HumansAnonymous could be SO good. It’s disappointing that an app dedicated to mental health requires you pay (and may I add, a ridiculous monthly fee) for most features, given a majority of people struggling with their mental health also struggle financially. It feels predatory, especially given the rising costs of therapy and medications. You’re telling people they are only worthy of extra help and support if they have the funds for it. I for one am dirt poor which makes my mental health so much worse, but cannot do anything about it clearly because I need to be wealthy if I want active support, even just on an app. It also makes it incredibly inaccessible to kids with families who are not supportive of mental health awareness!

You can’t even make more than one post a day without paying, which means if you’re struggling extra bad mentally and you’re poor, sorry you have to compile all your vents into one post and you better hope you don’t have another issue that same day that requires venting to feel better!

I’m disappointed

I’m one of the first people who used HumansAnonymous. I was here when a developer came on and told me and others that truth (a British man, I believe) I never had the money to receive proper therapy and I have social anxiety, so HumansAnonymous being free and anonymous was like heaven to me. I leave HumansAnonymous for some months, come back, and HumansAnonymous has gotten better but also, worse. Better, because of the new features, but worse, because of how limited it is for people who use HumansAnonymous for free to use them. 24hr chat is a plus feature, so only 1hr if you’re using HumansAnonymous for free. Making multiple post is a plus feature, so about 1 post if you’re using it for free. Looking at replies is a plus feature, looking at dms is a plus feature. Like, what happened? What made HumansAnonymous different was it’s accessibility and safety in anonymity. What happened to that understanding that everyone with mental health issues deserves to be heard with no heavy barriers? It all just feels the same now, just capitalistic.
