Even if you managed to use your money wisely, you can’t join your favorite top-tier European teams unless you buy money or age backwards. I’ve managed to get my character to 76 stars at retirement age of 36, only playing on relegated teams the entire career. There should be a way continue with new player, but keep the old player stats, that way you start off as a prodigy and not back to 0 stars again. Instead, if you want to continue your career, you have to pay to reset your age. That still doesn’t guarantee that you’ll be able to get to 90 stars before you are forced to retire again.

The overall concept is great, but the game needs serious fixes. My player somehow gets hurt or suspended before almost every CL Knockout or Cup Final. It always happens right before a game with implications. Also towards the tail end of the league campaign if your team is ahead, the likelihood of losing the next several games is extremely high. For example, I was playing on Real Madrid with a 8 point lead with 6 games remaining. I would purposely quit the season before the game auto saved and ten times in a row they couldn’t hang on to the title. Don’t spend money unless you want to be frustrated.

People need to stop being so generous with their reviews on this. This game has potential to be “fun”; however, there are many problems in my opinion with this. The game is technically pay to win. I’ve read other reviews of people complaining that they have to 1.99 dollars to have fun in this game. Seriously it seems the game slows your progress to force to pay real money to get it done faster. Honestly trust me you don’t want to waste your time, and real money on this disappointment of a game.

Very fun, I paid for the unlocked version so I benefit from getting the extra happiness rewards, which make the game more playable but sort of p2w. My main gripe is that NPC players don’t seem to move around to different clubs at any level. It’s also not worth it imo to upgrade your investments beyond the first star, my first play through I wasted tons of cash. Lastly, the negotiation estimate is nowhere close to where the club actually gets to in terms of weekly pay.

Don’t get me wrong, the game is extremely addicting and can pass time very well, but it’s also deceptive. Even after paying the $1.99 for the “full game”, it’s essentially impossible to reach anything higher than a 74 ovr before retirement. You’ll never get to see your player play in the champions league, or in my case, even his national team, without paying loads more $$$. It gets you hooked, but hangs you out to dry with the in-app purchases.

I just feel like the stats don’t match. I can have an attacker with 70+ shooting, composure,leg strength and technique try to score on a keeper who’s highest stat is like a 20 and still lose. I’ve played several different games trying to level up several different ways and always stuck in small leagues. I was 3rd highest scorer in my league 3 times in a row and no big league wanted me. And it feels like all the “AI” players around me level up twice as fast as I am. I don’t know. Maybe I’m just doing it wrong.

I don’t know wether I’m doing something wrong but every single time I ask the manager to be put on the transfer list it just says you still have time on ur contract we and that we can talk about it later. But when the contract is supposed to expire it just automatically renews it so there so real way from me leaving the National League( English league 5).

It’s not a bad games it’s just, I keep playing and leveling my player but I don’t do good in matches and also how do you get scouted by a big club, I could have max shootings and pace and other stats but still not good and even if I do good, I don’t get scouted much by good teams. I’m on my 3rd career so far and if nothing changes I might just drop the games like I did with football destiny. Please fix this

I’m a big fan of games like football manager so when I found this I thought it would be right up my alley. The other reviews seemed to agree so I gave it a shot. I’m so glad that I did!

I found myself losing hours just building up my wonderkid and trying to get him out of the lower divisions of the Scottish League.

The only thing that keeps this from being a full 5 stars is that there is definitely a learning curve. There are a few things that could be explained in the tutorial but instead are left to be, as your helpful assistant manager says, “learn as you go.”

I definitely missed out on some things that could have helped me earlier and made the process faster if I had known what they were and how they worked.

Other than that this is a super fun and fast past sim game, i would suggest it to anyone who’s into this style because it’s just unique enough to feel new.

Enjoy the game and it’s a pretty good football/soccer career simulation with fun skill progression, decent simulation, and a good grasp of the overall life of a footballer. If there is anything I would add for future editions of the game, definitely more regions, specifically Asia and the Americas and maybe a Club World Cup sort of game mode with that as well, and then 100% I would also like to have more in depth relations with teammates, managers and opponents. There isn’t ever really a feeling of a big rivalry with an opponent, which I feel could really make the game even more immersive. Other than that pretty awesome game! 4.49/5 👍

Yep it’s pretty good. However, I think the growth should be a lot faster since other players in my career are 90+ reputation at 21 and over and at 28 I’m not even at 50 reputation. Maybe if you could actually play through some sort of training mini game and you get better depending on how well you do. I don’t know. The game is pretty fun and realistic and I’m sure in my second career I’ll get more success since I’ll know what I’m doing.

I love this game. I’ve already played 4 seasons, but now I have to wait 6 hours! It’s so frustrating having to wait to play only 1 season and then having to wait 6 hours. Here’s a suggestion, remove the six hours thing and then add like 30 second adds in between seasons, that way your still making money and people don’t have to spend money on the upgraded version.

I’ve played this game for awhile and I’ve got about like maybe 12 rebirths and it’s fun and all but I definitely think that waiting hours to play again is not good and I wish I could get a higher ranked player easier because you need to rebirth over and over just to do it all over just to get one rank above your last one. But yea everything else is really fun and I recommend this game

I downloaded this game yesterday and immediately bought the full game only a few minutes after, this game has everything. Action, suspense, customization, deal making, relationships, life style, investments, leagues, and much more! I cannot wait for the second basketball one.

You have an amazing game here but it’s just got one problem THE ACTUAL GAMEPLAY❌❌❌ I mean we literally do nothing outside just hoping the match favours us and then switching the energy levels. This totally ruins the fun of the game.. there are many styles you can emulate like that of new star soccer or basically gives us something to do in the match gameplay to Mk us think or actually put in an effort not just watch the text on screen that’s it… I have downloaded this game over 4 times but anytym I play a few matches I get very bored … it’s a 4 star game cus it has almost everything a player career should have including a very good user interface design .. please just come up with something better for the match day gameplay even if it’s a puzzle for each scenerio it’s better than just text on screen

I love the game and the concept of the games similar to this one a lot, but it feels like the progress needs to be a little bit faster and having to wait 6 hours before playing again is so frustrating I know you can just pay to unlock the full game I've already done that with another one of their games but I really don't want to keep spending 1.99 everytime I want to enjoy one of these games.

The game is very fun but it progresses very slow. The reason I am writing this review though is because every time I try to buy the unlock game extension it starts connecting to FootballSuperstar2 Store but it never stops loading. I can’t understand how there is a problem with the extensions when that is how you make money. Please help I would like to not have to wait 6 FULL HOURS TO PLAY ANOTHER SEASON!

This game is a super realistic Futbol simulator, although the actual game costs 2 dollars, the free version is not that much of a downgrade and the differences in rewards are very minimal, in fact some rewards on the free version are better than the rewards on the actual game. In this game, you get to do everything, from investing, to betting, to relationships, to even managing your happiness to gain new contracts… this game has it all

I’ve been playing for an hour or so, and have played previously in the past, and I love the game. One thing I just don’t like is that sometimes I’ll win something I have a 30% chance in, and then I’ll lose something I have a 60% chance in. This happens often and gets frustrated when it happens in the same game. But honestly this isn’t that big of an issue and is realistic.
