Even if you managed to use your money wisely, you can’t join your favorite top-tier European teams unless you buy money or age backwards. I’ve managed to get my character to 76 stars at retirement age of 36, only playing on relegated teams the entire career. There should be a way continue with new player, but keep the old player stats, that way you start off as a prodigy and not back to 0 stars again. Instead, if you want to continue your career, you have to pay to reset your age. That still doesn’t guarantee that you’ll be able to get to 90 stars before you are forced to retire again.
Unfair Gameplay

The overall concept is great, but the game needs serious fixes. My player somehow gets hurt or suspended before almost every CL Knockout or Cup Final. It always happens right before a game with implications. Also towards the tail end of the league campaign if your team is ahead, the likelihood of losing the next several games is extremely high. For example, I was playing on Real Madrid with a 8 point lead with 6 games remaining. I would purposely quit the season before the game auto saved and ten times in a row they couldn’t hang on to the title. Don’t spend money unless you want to be frustrated.
This game is pay to win

People need to stop being so generous with their reviews on this. This game has potential to be “fun”; however, there are many problems in my opinion with this. The game is technically pay to win. I’ve read other reviews of people complaining that they have to 1.99 dollars to have fun in this game. Seriously it seems the game slows your progress to force to pay real money to get it done faster. Honestly trust me you don’t want to waste your time, and real money on this disappointment of a game.
