I could say so much about FutureMe/website. I’ve been using it for almost 3 years now and they’ve just released FutureMe for it. Seeing each letter from every year has made me realize my growth over the past couple years, and I’m so glad. A lot of the time I’ll forget that I ever wrote a note, and I’ll start thinking to myself “I wonder how much different I am from myself last year” because a lot of the time you don’t realize how much has changed in just one year, but then I get my email, and it brings me so much joy to read my thoughts and things from the year before. Thank you so much for this website/app seriously! Thank you!

I’ve been consistently using Dear this app since I was in 7th grade. I’m 23 years old now, a young grad who’s exploring her career and finding her place in the working world.

With the website, I was able to articulate my inner thoughts to my future self and ask thought-provoking (and shallow) questions how X and Y went. I read through my thoughts and reminisced about my aspirations 5-10 years ago, how much I’ve changed since then, heartbreaks, and future dreams I’ve yet to accomplish.

Since this is the first app, I was expecting some UI issues but saw no faults whatsoever. I love the smooth interface and the developers even kept the feature of Featured Letters from others.

I’ve always loved how simple this was to use and the creators have kept it free for one reason: to truly connect with yourself (and others). I’ve always recommended this website to others and am stoked I can just tell them to download an app and see for themselves how easy it is. If the creators are reading this, seriously thank you for keeping this free and true to the vision.

the idea of writing letters to yourself is a concept that never gets old. with everything going on in the world now I feel like it’s more important to have some documentation of the present day. hoping my laptop before FutureMe always felt like I had to have some life changing advice for the future me, but with FutureMe makes it more easy to access and now I find myself asking the me 5 years from now if I had enough water to drink that day. as romantic as writing letters in pen and paper can be things get lost and destroyed so having some digital way to store letters is the best concept

I remember I used the website back when I was in 5th grade and I would always send letters to the future and ask questions that upon receiving them would show me how I really was back then, and it's nice how they kept the vast majority of the features from the website in FutureMe . FutureMe most likely (I haven't received any letters yet) notifies you when you receive a letter, which is good because I always would worry I wouldn't see the email when it arrived in my mess of an email (I always did even when I forgot) anyways I’ve lived rambling, I don't typically review apps

I found this app a couple years ago while I was going through a tough time in my life. I decided to write my future self a few letters and life updates in hopes that 4-5 years from then I’d be in a completely different/ better space in my life.

I have a couple letters scheduled for later this year 2022 and I can’t wait to open them!! I remember my life in 2018 and I have had so much growth since then. I’ve also been feeling down about myself lately so these letters are a perfect reminder of where I was and how far I’ve come!

Fantastic app, site and easy to use. I was already 26 in 2017 when I started writing this app letters. Before I just used Evernote, notes or use old fashioned paper. I can only imagine if I had known about this app sooner. I think it’s been around much longer…. It’s great to be delivered a letter. I usually don’t remember what I’ve written to myself. It’s a fantastic surprise and different then just randomly going back to read something. I highly recommend this to all people who like to write.

Hello there! I love FutureMe so much! I’m so happy you made it into an app. One thing I would suggest you add is a “drafts” section. Making a drafts section would let you write a letter and then come back to it later on when you have more inspiration. I think a drafts section would be very helpful! In other words, FutureMe is AMAZING thanks

I’ve been using the website for years so I was happy to see an app finally. It’s pretty intuitive and easy on the eyes. There are some slight glitches when selecting the year you want a letter to arrive, if it isn’t one of the pre-decided year options (1, 3, 5, etc). Sometimes doesn’t tell me how many days until it’s delivered after I submit a letter. All in all, I’m so proud of this company. I’ve been using the website for so long and I’m rooting for you guys.

Wrote my first letter in 2010. And I always enjoy receiving my own messages. It’s always a surprise since I’m very forgetful. LoL.

I’m glad they finally released FutureMe since it’s an easier way to send letters, as well as view your previously sent ones.

FutureMe design is simple, which makes it easy to use.

I have been using the website version for many years. FutureMe is great.
It works, it’s easy, it’s fun to see old stuff from before.
There are so many uses. On a side note, I have shown people this great idea FutureMe is. They smile politely, oh well, this must be for a very select type of personality, like mine.👍👍

I’ve been writing letters to my future self for years now. From seeing my writing improve to seeing my mental health improve—never been let down.

There’s a deep attachment for this, I’ve witnessed fifteen year old me finally promise sixteen year old me that I’d take my meds, that I’d stay another year.

From the very first time I used future me I loved it. So glad they’ve made it an app now I can easily access it and write myself more letters.

so i paid for FutureMe because i use website often but there no ability to scroll or set date for last than one year highly disappointed and junk of this when could be good if was ability to scroll.

I started doing these letters two years ago and when i got the email about the new app I instantly downloaded! So far i have had no issues with FutureMe theres even a new surprise me date that you can choose what age you want it sent and itll send it to you on random day. One feature I absolutely appreciate that i was initially worried about was seeing the ones that are waiting to be delivered. It doesnt allow you to physically see those unsent messages but tells you when you sent them. I know personally i would probably look at them randomly if i had a chance ruining the surprise.

I’ve been a thrilled user of the this app website for more than a year, so I was SO excited when I saw an app had come out. However, it crashes every time I try to send a letter. Disappointed!

I love FutureMe .

My only feedback is the title doesn’t change to update to todays date and there’s no way to force update it to the current date. I opened FutureMe to see the title said “a letter from May 16, 2023” and it’s currently July. I think I had started a letter then and didn’t finish. Also reminders to finish would be nice. But there’s no way to just have it update the date, I would have to manually erase it.

i’ve been dealing with a lot lately and i got a letter from me two years ago and made my whole day better, i actually recommend this to anyone who likes to make capsules. <3 :D

i’ve used and love the website, but FutureMe has glitched and crashed everytime i attempted to use it. it completely froze one time, and i couldn’t exit FutureMe for 5-10mins before i got siri to work and shut down my phone that way.

This does work great and I’ve sent myself letters already it works pretty smoothly
