4.7 out of 5
Subscription Unreasonable

If you asked me a month ago I would give StellarSleep four stars if not five, but then I realized that after six months the real daily tools/content conclude but they still keep charging you a subscription fee. It’s like paying for a cheeseburger but the restaurant keeps sending you a bill for the same amount that the cheeseburger originally cost every month because you digested it and its molecules are still being used in your cells. Then if you stop paying, they come and slice off part of your fingertip to reclaim their property. If you stop paying then you’re cut off from all of the tools you used such as bookmarking certain passages and journal entries. How can people that design such an effective tool then turn around and be so, so greedy? Gross.

Ineffective for my sleep issues

For me, it’s not working. I’m getting less sleep than when I started this program three weeks ago. I think the issue is that this seems to focus on those who have trouble falling asleep. It does briefly mention those with issues waking up in the middle of the night and not being able to get back to sleep, but only very little. That’s the problem I have and I’ve found this to be ineffective for that. Since I’ve started this, I’ve only been able to fall back asleep one time and and am typically getting about 4 hours of sleep a night. The other concern I have is that this is a very difficult and controversial approach to overcoming insomnia. The central element is sleep restriction therapy. It is absolutely brutal, but you don’t get the details as to just how brutal this approach is until after the low introductory cost for the first week has passed and you’ve been billed a hefty sum for your subscription. My bad for not doing my due diligence before signing up, but I’m pretty worn out and willing to try just about anything. Maybe it will get better, but so far it is absolutely terrible and I’m much worse off than before I started it. It would have been nice to know just how difficult this was before I paid for the subscription. That being said, from other reviews I’ve read, it does seem to work for other people. I’m just not one of them.

I can sleep now

A few weeks ago, I was exhausting every option I could to sleep. Without sleep meds I’d get maybe 3 hours, with sleep meds around 5. I was exhausted. My problem was sleep anxiety. I hate feeling forced to go to bed at a certain time to make sure I got those 8 hours that everyone claims you need to function. However stellar sleep was able to help me change my mindset and I can sleep on my own without sleep meds for about 6 and a half hours. Sometimes I take sleep medicine if I get that super bad sleep anxiety. It hasn’t fixed every problem but it’s helped me rewire some harmful thoughts and habits into better ones that allow me to sleep and not focus so much on the little things that kept me awake at night. I’d give StellarSleep 5 stars but I cant complete the 30 day sleep challenge for some reason. It won’t log my progress and has me stuck on day one of 30. Even without the challenge though, it has helped tremendously which is why it’s got a 4 of 5.

I’m believer!

Stellar sleep has quietly changed my life. I like the emphasis on building skills that I can use to tackle my specific sleep issues vs other apps I’ve tired which try to just clam you down with generic seeming meditation. I’ve found that a lot of my sleep problems are made worse by my anxiety, and Stellar sleep has helped me recognize that and handle it in a way where it no longer affects my sleep. More importantly StellarSleep has helped me believe that I can sleep like a normal person again instead of having to struggle with sleep for the rest of my life. Every day I’m feeling much, much more hopeful about living a normal life with normal sleep.

Best sleep app

I’ve had insomnia for two years. I have tried 5 or 6 other solutions that claimed they could help me. Stellar sleep is the only thing that actually worked for me because of the psychological component that helped me discover how burned out I was and how that was affecting me. I like the videos and the approach and I only wish there was an easier way to go back and search for specific things because I want to rewatch a few specific parts.

Overall highly recommend StellarSleep. It’s worked super well for me!

Worked for Post-Menopausal Insomniac

I’ve grappled with insomnia for nearly a decade. I wondered if CBT-I could work for insomnia in menopausal woman. It DOES! The secret for me has been revisiting it regularly. My fitful, unrestorative sleep and 3 a.m. awakenings began in perimenopause nearly a decade ago. I was under no illusion that I would be “cured” in a matter of weeks. When I stick to the program, I sleep better. When I do not sleep well, I now have the skills to bounce back quickly. After trying countless medications, supplements (including magnesium), and hormones, StellarSleep has helped me the most by far. I am eternally grateful.

15 years of insomnia… cured in a month

This program saved my life. If you suffer from insomnia, the cost of this program is dirt cheap compared to the benefits. I was skeptical at first but decided to give it a try after not being able to find a CBT-I therapist in town, and became extremely desperate to sleep. I was also in regular therapy to address my problems with anxiety, so please know what most sleep issues are related to anxiety, but I needed the sleep restriction because I had developed a severe fear of my bed at some point and needed it addressed. This program was a life saver and I recommend it to everyone

Stellar Sleep has solved insomnia

I used to seriously struggle with sleep, getting 1-2 hours some nights. That feeling of shutting my eyes, awake in bed, sometimes feels worse than a nightmare.

Been using this sleep app for a while now, and it's a game-changer! Stellar Sleep has solved sleep with their psychology method. I consistently get a great night’s sleep and wake up feeling so energized. I no longer need coffee to kickstart my mornings.

What these guys have in StellarSleep changes peoples lives and one day will change the world. It's like having a personal sleep expert, for a price that isn’t even comparable. Highly recommend!

Stellar Sleep Is Stellar!

When I bought StellarSleep , I was doubtful that my sleep would actually improve, I don’t sleep through the night like I’d hoped but I awaken refreshed and ready for the day bc of the advice and encouragement StellarSleep provided on a daily basis. I understand my habits much better and I get more deep sleep and REM sleep than I did.
BEST OF ALL, they don’t cut you off at the end of the time you pay for. You get an extra 30 days that helped me immensely! I have saved many “modules” to help me cope better. Now that the extra 30 days are over, I can keep up with StellarSleep for nothing! 5 star? If I could give it 10, I would.

Surprisingly effective

For roughly ten years, I've been wrestling with subpar sleep, a byproduct of my demanding career as a corporate attorney in an ever-bustling city.

I realized I needed to take decisive action not merely for personal comfort, but as a career imperative. In a field where precision and mental agility are paramount, a compromised sleep schedule was proving detrimental. I tried various sleep solutions, from noise machines to aromatic oils and even prescription aids. Sadly, each fell short. They either served as distractions or left me with an undesirable mental fog.

Initially, I approached Stellar Sleep with a healthy dose of skepticism. However, the scientifically supported methods StellarSleep employed to tackle sleep issues were compelling. The program felt different; it was more akin to a personal sleep coach, educating me on psych techniques to help me discover the deep-seated reasons for my sleep issues.

The program includes their promised psych videos and then also a several tools to help you track your sleep, track your thoughts, and habit tools. It's all very convenient but honestly I also don't exactly love the idea that everything I did to improve my sleep is in StellarSleep . What happens if I decide in a year or two that I will stop paying? Does it all disappear?

Nevertheless, the transformation brought about has been nothing short of remarkable. Within weeks, I began experiencing deeper, more consistent sleep. Work stress, which once reliably sabotaged my rest, no longer had the same effect. My sleep became a rejuvenating process, irrespective of the day's pressures.

If I had to pick another gripe (other than the data being locked in), it is that I wish there was more human interaction. Let me talk to someone face to face (on Zoom) or build a forum where I can talk to the other people using the tool. Sleep is lonely, and that would really help.

Helped with Perimenopausal Insomnia

To say StellarSleep changed my life might be a bit dramatic but it absolutely changed my sleep, which in turn, changed my life. I suffered from insomnia both when my
son was born and again in perimenopause. It became so bad I would panic at bedtime, knowing I wouldn’t get adequate rest. I knew it had become mental at this point as well and I needed help. Stellar helped from Day 1- helping me understand WHY I was panicking and how to use my thoughts to help me relax. Within days, I was sleeping better. Within a week I was stringing together full nights of sleep, which had not happened in over a year. My only regret is not using StellarSleep sooner.

Really, actually works

I found Slumber One at a point in my life where I hadn’t slept for weeks. I mean that literally. I track my sleep and I had gone for at least 3 weeks where Fitbit told me I literally had slept 0 minutes and 0 hours in the past 3 weeks.

I tried melatonin. I tried cutting out all coffee. I tried reading a book in bed. I tried meditation. I tried weed. Nothing worked.

Some days I would get tired. So frickin tired that I thought for sure I would be able to sleep that night. Nope. “Fooled you” my brain would say. I would lay in bed so exhausted that I felt like I could die, but I just wouldn’t fall asleep.

When I found Slumber One, I bought it on impulse, but I honestly didn’t think it would work. But I had already spent hundreds of dollars buying things so why not try something else. They’re from Harvard. Maybe it’ll work. If not I can tell people even Harvard can’t help me.

The first week using Slumber One I didn’t think much was changing. More money down the drain. But then the second week, by some miracle I actually slept. I slept for 2 nights. My Fitbit counter was finally no longer at 0. Third week I slept for 5 nights. By the fourth week, I actually slept every single night.

If you’re reading this and you can’t sleep, then do yourself a favor and get StellarSleep. This really, actually works. I don’t know how. Some of the stuff they tell you to do just seems completely illogical, but somehow, through their sequence of instructions, I can sleep again.

10 Years of Insomnia Cured

The program in StellarSleep ended a decade long stretch of insomnia. Before finding this I tried everything from supplements (magnesium, melatonin) to prescription medication to lifestyle changes (no caffeine, exercise more, etc) and nothing really worked. Many nights a week I would be up for hours and feel desperately tired the following day.

After completing this program I fall asleep fast and stay asleep. If I wake up to use the bathroom in the night I am back to sleep quickly. I do not wake up to a spinning mind, I simply sleep at night. It’s miraculous. This is the only thing that has every truly helped me with sleep. I can now say I do not have insomnia. I cannot recommend StellarSleep more highly.

Insomnia conquered

After at least 40 years of struggling with insomnia my New Year's resolution for 2025 was to successfully defeat it. I had tried pretty much everything imaginable up until now. After starting the Stellar Sleep app I knew there was hope for me. In the first 10 days I was already getting back to a natural sleeping pattern. I have been hopelessly addicted to an afternoon nap and did not think I could survive without it, but when my quality of sleep at night improved my need for a nap was greatly lessened. I still get sleepy in the afternoons and evenings, but it feels like it is natural rather than a need to catch up on lost sleep. I am motivated to push through it for the sake of a good solid eight hours of sleep. If I can do it, anyone can! So thrilled with StellarSleep!

Combat Veteran Review

I have been dealing with insomnia for years. The Veterans Affairs sleep doctor did something similar and the VA has a free application called CBT-I. The Stellar Sleep app is different because of the education piece.

I remember thinking, “why is the VA doctor telling me to only allow myself to sleep in a 5.5 hour window”. I was frustrated with the guidance and only lasted two days. I’d rather just use every supplement known to man at this point.

Stellar Sleep educates and explains things. It’s essentially automated therapy, but with great communication and tools (e.g. guided progressive meditation) that help.

By the middle of the second week I stopped taking melatonin and about 10 other supplements. I would fall asleep quickly. I still struggled to sleep without waking up at 3am, but learned how to fall back asleep within ~10 minutes. The stress of waking up was no longer stressful. Now I’m a month in to the program and I don’t even do anything special to fall asleep if I wake up in the middle of the night. I just fall asleep again.

The key to this program is commitment to yourself and achieving what you want out of getting better sleep. If you are ready to apply some work to your habits and learn some things to sleep better, get StellarSleep. It is well worth the money.

So far it’s stuff you probably know already but it’s still worth it

Go to bed and wake up at the same time. Don’t stay in bed more than 20 minutes at a time. It’s stuff you’ve probably already heard. But it does provide some much needed structure and helps you track your progress. It’s also nice to have someone acknowledge your sleeping difficulties even if it’s only a cartoon owl. The big kicker for me was the epiphany I had that I shouldn’t use my meds to go to bed whenever I want but take them at the same time every day. You can probably piecemeal together your own strategy but for me at $200 a year it might be worth it. I don’t think $200 for 3 months is a very good deal. So don’t accept that offer if you can get a better one. Full disclosure I’m only 1 week into the program so I don’t know what gems might show up later.

Saved my life

I’ve struggled with insomnia for awhile and nothing was working. Melatonin, sleeping pills and THC worked for awhile but stopped. I couldn’t fall asleep no matter what I took it and I was getting scared. I couldn’t sleep for days and even when I did sleep it was for maybe 4 hours. I finally went to my new doctor, I had switched doctors because the last one really didn’t address why I couldn’t sleep and prescribed meds that didn’t work, the new dr diagnosed me with anxiety due to being a caregiver for my husband fighting stage 4 cancer and was prescribed medication for anxiety and Temazepam for sleep, which usually worked, but I didn’t want to get addicted. StellarSleep works extremely well if you follow the program. It can be difficult but keep trying. You’ll get there. I’m still taking my anxiety meds but rarely need Temazepam. I highly recommend StellarSleep.

Fixed my insomnia

Thank you to the creators of StellarSleep! I was dealing with sudden, debilitating insomnia for 6 months before starting stellar sleep. I was averaging 3-4 hours of sleep per night and was becoming a shell of myself. I questioned the methods originally, but was desperate. Within 2 weeks, I was getting 6 hours of sleep. Within a month, I was getting 7. Now, 4 months out, I’m getting the sleep I was getting before my insomnia began and am sleeping regularly again. I don’t have to think about insomnia anymore. The micro-modules add up and you can feel them slowly make a difference. The sleep restriction was tough, but it was the most critical component to getting regular again. Advice- take a cold shower to help you stay awake, but not within an hour of when you actually need to go to sleep! I no longer need stellar sleep, but I’m forever grateful and will shout my support from the rooftops!

I can sleep now!

StellarSleep has totally changed my approach to solving my severe insomnia. I’ve had an average of 2-3 nights sleep for 7 months, which has left me feeling anxious, depressed, exhausted and in physical pain. I’ve felt as though my proverbial cheese was slipping off my proverbial cracker. This program is very enlightening and easy to follow. Most of it educates the user about things they’d just never know without it. While I did not use the accountability feature, I did value being accountable to myself for healing my own sleep deficit; it is a sort of gentle self-challenge. The sleep badges are adorable and strangely satisfying to earn! One improvement I can think of, is to be able to go back to all of the sleep modules already completed, so the lessons can be revisited if a user wants to. Over all, I highly recommend StellarSleep to anyone who struggles with insomnia. I only wish I’d found it 6 months ago!

Worked brilliantly

The program is great. The behavioral portion is informative, helpful, minimal time investment to get great results. The sleep restriction is challenging but incredibly effective. I went from horrible insomnia, using medication frequently, to normal healthy sleep. The support is also extraordinary. I had a real person respond quickly to any questions. Lastly, doing the program with an Oura ring makes it much for streamlined to log and track sleep.
