Yet another CN game trying to cash grab global players. They are releasing a unit 6 months early that will invalidate previous units. A must have limited character that was meant for the anniversary. Released now simply to fomo people into opening their wallets. I’ve supported this game through the banner schedule changes and hoped that was the worst of things but this is over the line. Sad to leave since the game is fun, and good story but they clearly respect underhanded methods to squeeze customers over telling their story well (since the banner changed also mess up the storytelling). People said Mica was a company the really cared about telling their stories but I guess that is only for CN players.

what kept people playing GFL1, despite the redundant gameplay, was the T-doll designs in reference to their namesake weapon. The “Guns” made the game. While this entry doesn’t languish in gameplay it lacks the guns aspect almost entirely aside from a few callback characters, or callforwards considering this is a prequel. And the same goes for exilium. In short this franchise works best when turning real steel firearms into cute girls that you then build an army out of. It’s just such a shame they’ve neglected to improve and update the gameplay from the first iteration that made the franchise, and instead opted to make three separate titles 2 of which are lacking in the “GunGirl” department greatly and instead lean more into the Arknights sci-fi aspect, and the other which has a drastically different art style and plays out like fan-fiction.

You have 2 major bugs. 1) your monthly pack is not crediting my account and has not for over a week. 2) On iPhone, your customer service page does NOT fill when I type. I am unable to send you a ticket regarding this major IAP problem.
Therefore, I am escalating this issue to the entire public as a warning to not spend any money on your game. If you respond to this 1* review, do NOT tell me to go to customer support - I just told you in point 2 that your customer service page is bugged.
When you resolve this issue, I will gladly change the review to 5*. The ball is in your court.

If you like games that are basically a never ending tutorial where you can’t make any decisions for yourself and have to follow/do what the tutorial AI tells you then this game is perfect for you, because that’s basically what this game is a never ending tutorial and after an 1 hour and 45 minutes of following the on screen instructions I was still stuck in the tutorial and unable to actually play/enjoy the game.
********
This part of my review is for the Devs.
If you are just going to release the tutorial part of the game and act like it’s the full game then shame on you.
********
Now about the “Positive” reviews this game has, in my honest opinion the only way something this shoddily done would have positive reviews is of the person was paid to give it one or if it’s a bot review/ employee of the Developer reviewing the game.

Games that download when it’s released yet say the game isn’t ready when you go to play automatically get 1 star and deleted. Be smarter team.

The game has charm. From the very first battle to the minute narrative interactions, Neural cloud does everything in its power to open a window in the auto-battler market and let the fresh air in. All to a fantastic soundtrack provided by Vanguard Sound. Unfortunately, it still doesn’t leave its room and it’s starting to stink.
Plagued by cascading menus, resource grind, repetitive combat, a barebones story, and a relatively small cast of character-ala-trope, Neural cloud fastens itself squarely within the gacha standard formula with a tease of what could be.
Neural cloud could have been phenomenal if its aesthetic, cast, and procedural mission style were used to facilitate a more novel gameplay loop. But instead we got *another* auto-battler that recycles ideas from MICA’s past work.

I started playing this game at global launch and I got into it for the adorable characters, wonderful artwork, fairly easy gameplay, and compelling storyline. I’ve had no real complaints up until now. However, the most recent storyline event (at the time of this writing) ended so horribly that I don’t really care what happens after this, unless it somehow gets fixed. It’s so upsetting that I can’t justify giving this company any more money or spending my time playing something that’s just going to anger and depress me every time I look at it. Sorry, but you screwed up when you took my Sunshine away.

It’s a fine game, but I just got one complaint. Who in there right mind thought it would be a good idea to make one of the items in the daily store cost 7 quarts. Accidentally bought it, and now my quarts count has been ruined forever. As someone who has OCD I now have a feeling of discomfort whenever I look at my quarts count and see that it will forever be an uneven amount. At least make it cost 5 or 10 quarts so other people who make the same mistake do not have to live with it forever.

You are required by their privacy policy to provide for them your real (legal) name. Is there any way to fix this?

I could tell there was a lot of work done to this game, and it looks and feels SUPER polished. The only thing I’d say is it feels like this game needs a slower beginning, rather than just throwing you into the battle. I felt overwhelmed with the game when I started playing because I had no clue what I was doing, even in the tutorial. Maybe some smaller, less fast paced battles would be a better starting point?
Either way, from the start you could tell that a lot of work was put into this game, and it just feels really, really polished.

(Revising post-Exception Protocal availability) Despite the repetition, I'm still having a good time with Project Neural Cloud. MICA shenanigans still affect the character release schedule which can be annoying at times but the amount of free currency you get helps me forgive them since I always get the characters I want with ease without spending. Events are interesting, dailies are quick, and you can play the game for as long or as short as you want, but I think the problem for endgame players is the increasing difficulty of later stages. The new characters coming out are meant to ease the "PNC content is too hard" problem, but we lag behind CN so right now Clukay is essential for everything later down the line, alongside one's knowledge of the game's systems.
8/10, avoid it if you don't like auto-chess, roguelikes or chibis, 100% recommend if you do, and also like really hard challenges.

Yes, it a good game but now it turn out to be a fan service game with more and more sexualized female characters. It’s ok to focus on fan service to make money but the unbalanced genders in this game seem to be like others game(trash games). Since the released, there only 2 male character and the rest are females and they become too much. Like the new character with that extreme bib boobs for what? I don’t know who idea to make that character but he/she definitely a pervert or and idiot. We want more cool characters not perverts thing or over sexualized female. PLEASE STOP

I was pretty addicted to this game when I first got it. I am a Genshin Impact player, so it was a major relief to have a gacha system where it is easy to obtain good characters. The storyline is very good, and there are many things to do in the game. However, I have a few problems with it. For example, I wish there were more features where you can interact with the characters. They only have a few voice lines, and the only thing you can do with them is the main story. Overall, I enjoy it, and I definitely recommend. :)
by Judjehslihdhsu
The story is interesting and I was hooked for a month or two, but logging on everyday became boring and repetitive. The events are monthly and too infrequent for my liking. When I reached the end of the main story, I basically just listlessly did my dailies. Other than the lack of new content, the game is great.

First time playing Neural Cloud ever!! Don’t understand everything obviously but so far so good!!
by Mr. Mr-sir
So far this game has been really really good, one of the best team builders by far, alongside games like Mobile Legends: Adventure or even like Honkai Impact.
The only thing I feel like it’s lacking is voice acting for the story parts, that would make this game a solid 10/10 for me!
by Magazine.minima
This is literally the best crafted gacha game out there. Historical in that for the first time we are seeing a highly crafted game with gorgeous art, deep character development and strategy that ALSO has screen quality writing. The writing is pitch perfect. The art is beautiful.
YES the introductory tutorial is way to long, (dev team I beg you to slim it down); but for any serious gamer, it’s worth it. It is SO worth it
by Hattt34
Very fun game, nice story but doesn’t take much time to read, literally a sentence or two here and there. Super fun battle styles, mostly strategy. Characters feel thought out and the ultimate ability animations are S tier. Immediate intro to the game could easily turn you off, but it’s like 10 seconds and then you’re hooked.
by ChaosCatX3
I’m very amazed and completely enjoy everything about the game so far, especially the graphics and characters design but I was wondering if I could ask why the “Redeem Gift” option is not showing up in my settings or if that will be added later on?
by Aadvit Goel
The game is phenomenal from the f2p to the animations, music and etc. However there is one underlying problem…. The keys. When you start you have an abundance of keys however as you progress and newer stages unlock the key cost grows exponentially making it so that you have to wait days just to progress to the next stage.

This game is INCREDIBLY polished, looks amazing, there’s so much to do and the story is actually interesting and isn’t too hard to follow along. There really isn’t any reason to skip this, unless of course you’re allergic to really well-made games. I’ve been near addicted for the last three days and I don’t plan to stop anytime soon. Get it - you’re missing out!!

This game is a great mash pit of ideas. The basic gameplay loop is about picking your favorite characters and getting buffs via drops in dungeons. The types of buffs differ from map to map but that’s to encourage you to use different play styles. There are some payable resources (mainly gacha and currency) but nothing so far has felt pay-2-win. As a bonus there’s no ads
by Phoenshsj
There’s a lot of certain aspects they brought to the game that is a lot different than other gacha game. Which is pretty intriguing. When doing 10x pull it full of surprises as you wouldn’t know you got a 3* character. It surprised me when it happened once hahaha. And there’s no skip button on 10x pull so you gonna have to sit through the pulls. I think the character attack periodically so it’s a bit bland and slow. Is still a pretty good game!

As an avid player of Girls Frontline and enjoyer of its story, is wonderful to see another entry to the series. Neural Cloud’s story is engaging off the bat, coupled with high quality art of both scenes and characters. The characters are lovable and charismatic, giving true incentive collect them. The gameplay is fun and progression is rewarding. I can’t wait for new events. Thank you Mica Team.
by Rosewaal
I love the game, but how do you go to the redemption codes? I go into settings, although it is not added in. Do you unlock it at a specific point? I have no idea how to unlock redemption codes. Please add it in, or help me on how I can find it. I’ve done the same steps other have, and still no luck. Please help me.

So far this game looks amazing upon launch. The art and live2D of characters is great, the gameplay is quite innovative on the auto play genre being mixed with roguelike and gacha elements. It is also not as battery heavy as some of the other mobile games I have played. Voice acting is great as well.
One of my gripes would be that I can’t bind account with Apple, Google, or other methods once you played a bit through the Guest account and you have to settle with making a custom account.
by Nobelty
some awesome anime-like animations, nice waifus and AMAZING drop rates. the game goes the distance trying to really immerse you with the story, and the combat is unique even for a gacha game. i cant wait to see what comes out next

So, so far, I’m in the top 4 to download this, but it’s really good, it exercises your brain. This game is like a, complicated puzzle if you will. I like thhe game mickanics(don’t judge my typing) and it’s an overall good game
by Micccccchy
I cannot download the game for some reason. Shows my cloud download. It starts downloading but then half way through it stops and resets

Gameplay is amazing and feels refreshing. Characters are really cool too!

The game just released, and I spent the whole day playing it. So far, I have unlocked everything I saw in the ads. Nice graphics and plot story. My favorite is the music in the beginning (if you don't skip the story). So, add more music, please
by Queen Nerf
The animation 100% game play is awesome. Story line is amazing… I’m sure the game will get better as we proceed forward

Leading the genre. Ok we have about played ourselves out by now on the same templated game, this one is the one you should be playing. Why am I playing this game? Thank you for giving us live 2d where we want it, even better that it’s GFL.5
