The app requires legal name email social date of birth your address. After doing all that they claim that they won’t let me have an account cause I haven’t provided proof of my identity. They are just trying to collect all the information they can about you to sell it off
They ask for photo of your info over Zendesk

It feels weird to be but they ask for photo of our social security card and drivers license over email. None of this is encrypted or secure. I don’t think an E*trade or other financial trading company would do this. Don’t trust it. Use autopilot.

It could be a good platform, but they don’t do everything they say. The trades of portfolios you follow arnt exactly what the people you are following are doing. It’s super easy to deposit but not easy to withdraw, I tend to not like any app that is like that. Withdrawing and depositing should be the same difficulty, wether they are both easy or both hard. It makes me uneasy when the withdrawing is much difficult than depositing. It’s a good idea but they clearly didn’t put enough time and effort into the little things that make people comfortable with using brokerages and trading platforms. There is plenty of new brokerages that are doing similar things as Dub. Dub can either improve or get swept by their comp.
