Customer support is the absolute best all ways helpful and kind and easy to understand. The collar it self is awesome if you can’t afford a 20,000 dollar fence then the 1,600 dollars for this collar is worth it. We have 3 acres and we love it if you have less than 2 acres I would not recommend this collar I personally due to the fence having flexibility with its connection sometimes those who have the collar will understand that. The conns to the spot on collar is you have to charge it nightly and weather has a major effect on the collar’s connection to satellites but that kind of stuff is not controllable obviously. Love the product I recommend it great for fences and dog training. I would love if SpotOn added on a little page on SpotOnGPSFence for all the whistles to play out loud through my phone not just the collar that would be cool and neat.

Overall the product and customer service is excellent. I have had two battery malfunctions. Both were resolved quickly, without hassle, and no charge. But, it was a bit troubling to be without the collar for several days while the issue was resolved. The configuration of the static response is, I believe, probably the most humane configuration and is generally very effective. However, my English Shepherd, Teddi, has a high prey drive. If he spots a deer, squirrel, ground hog or any other critter he takes off like a rocket and zips through the boundary before the static response can happen. His chase is generally very short, even for deer, and he returns home quickly. I purchased the cellular service and have been extremely pleased with this. It provides great piece of mind whenever Teddi is out of sight. In short, if the battery issue is resolved and the static response could be adjusted to trigger when the boundary is breached by a streaking dog, Spot On would be perfect. The customer service is great and they stand behind their product. Overall, I think SpotOn is best system on the market.

I love the concept of this collar and when it works it’s a great product, but the problem is that it so rarely works. I’ve had the collar replaced once and sent in and repaired another time and I’m still having issues with it. Currently the tracking isn’t working with nothing but a “we are trying to figure it out” from the support team. The collar’s fence randomly deactivates during the day and every time it’s charged. All the dog setting are lost when this happens as well. And again the support team says they are working on it and hope to have a fix in the next month. Last month the collar was being worked on because it wouldn’t turn on this month the fence and tracking don’t work, when will this collar work? When will I get to use and trust this product?

Spot on has worked really well for us. It was very easy to set up and our dog learned his boundaries quickly. We have a large rural property so installing a fence wasn't feasible. We have also set up boundaries in other places where we have spent time, which was a bonus for us.
I have 4 stars instead of five because we have had some glitches - sometimes when switching between users things have gotten mixed up, and we have had to reprogram fences when they disappeared for no apparent reason. SpotOnGPSFence has been updated a few times since we had those issues, so I don't know if those bugs have been fixed.

I have two of these collars. It works great for my English Setter. He learned very quickly and knows the boundaries. My Anatolian Shepherd doesn’t care about the zap, even when its on 30. Its nice to be able to track her when she leaves our 5 acres. Ive tried tightening it, but then she just got sores because she has a lot of wrinkles and her neck wasn't getting enough air flow. Two things I would love to see change is having the ability to speak to her through the collar. She listens to our commands well. It would also be great to static correct her from my phone. Halo has that and I miss that. I think she knows the zap ends after 10 seconds and she just toughs it out. Overall, Im happy with the spot on collar!

This has been the best thing for us. Have about 10 acres and other systems only allowed about 1/2 to maybe 1 acre or less of travel. Aza would visit neighbors and fields and be gone 4-5 hours at a time 😩. Used my hunting dog vibration collars on her ( an old English bulldog). But either to far or behind a hill or something. Got this collar set up on full 10 acres and the tone and vibration system she was accustomed to works like a charm. Never used static device and dog has never left “fence” area. Plenty of room to roam safely and we know where she is !!! She actually wants her collar on before going outside. Spendy but worth it to us.

We have an adventurous little hound dog… started with a manual collar.. he knows when the collar sounds to get back home.. but if he sees us not paying attention he sneaks out of range…. Not any more… with SpotOn Cooper has no choice.. he has approached the designated line only couple times in few months… abruptly turns around… we have no more worries because of this collar… runs the entire day on charge… he doesn’t even wander much in the yard anymore.. the border is easy to establish.. easy to edit… could not be happier.. it is expensive, but worth every dime without doubt…

I live out in the country on 2 acres and since we moved in and got our pups, it’s been a continuous inconvenience because our dogs were runners! Deer, rabbits, cats, other dogs, you name it, they chased it. When we were home working in the yard, gates had to be closed or the dogs had to be chained up. Now, after a few easy training sessions, my dogs run freely all over the property. They stay in the property inside the electronic fence line and are rarely even tempted. If so it’s very short lived. My pups now get more exercise and enjoy being free to walk or run all over our land. Thanks Spot On! Total game changer!!

We own an 18 month old German Shepherd Dog named Jagger, whose life was dramatically improved as well as his owners by the SpotOn system. SpotOn has provided Jagger the freedom to enjoy his entire 40 acre forested horse ranch. He spends his days hanging out with his horse friends and chasing squirrels, doing dog stuff .

Our property is bordered by a gravel and blacktop which does create a visible boundary, but comes with its dangers. I operate a business on the property permitting continuous supervision, but so far the warning tone has been all that’s needed to keep Jagger on his property. A time will come when additional deterrence is needed, so we’re adding vibration next as the weather warms for additional training.

SpotOn is great with the best feature the satellite tracking to monitor Jagger’s current location. I simply click a button on my phone for a wellness check instead of calling Jagger to the shop to check in.

We love it and so does Jagger. Thanks SpotOn .

This collar is expensive. Having said that it is the most incredible collar with the best customer service out there! My dog was stuck in a cage most of the day because we just couldn’t keep him home. We had tried tons of other collars in the market and nothing worked. This collar allows him to run free all day long! We charge it for an hour at night and he’s good to go. He can now run our entire property with no problem. It has made him a 90% better dog being able to run free instead of caged up. If you have a dog and are on the fence I can’t recommend this collar enough.

and contact information was on there, but I am willing to give it up to

We tried other collars that didn’t work. They were a complete waste of money and would randomly shock our dogs. The Spot on collar keeps our dogs safely on our property while allowing them the freedom to roam on the land near our home.
After following their easy training instructions, our dogs now know to turn back towards home when they hear the very accurate warning tone totally avoiding any corrective shock. The tracking feature on the phone app also allows us to quickly locate them on our property (several acres) if needed.
An added bonus is their customer support team is so professional and absolutely amazing!!!

To many times I have invested in things and they’re not what they say they are…. And this is pricey for senior citizen.. but cheaper then fencing for the acreage… I had to build my confidence in it.. as a physical fence you see the containment… I don’t get excited about hearing about the northern lights in this area… as it did mess up the system. But it was so nice that they contacted us to warn us. That gave me assurance they are on it….

I am now feeling confident and more comfortable with this collar… I have switched it back-and-forth with the dogs during training…. my girl (Border collie mixed) learned fast and yet she was the one that had to be broke from taking off to the neighbors… she is strong willed… now the pup he is lab mixed with tree walker coonhound, and he never had the chance to explore beyond the boundaries… But if a squirrel, rabbit or even the cat runs he’s chasing it… he doesn’t hurt them. He just likes to chase them up a tree, down a hole… he took the shock… hesitant as I was I kept turning up the level… and made sure collar was tighter so it didn’t slide also kept contact…
Now I want to buy the 2nd collar(when on sale) to make my life easier… they both actually get excited when I get the collar they both want it on because it means your not on a leash or in the pen… your free..
I am thinking about trying the subscription.. which I haven’t had..

We’ve had our Spoton fence for just over a month now with no complaints!! What an outstanding product that’s so easy to use. They made it so easy to set up with an extremely accurate boundary. Our Pomsky loves wearing his collar because he knows it gives him the freedom to run around our 2 acre yard without a leash. It only took a few days for him to learn the boundary. It gives us peace of mind knowing he’s free to roam our yard and safe!! Thank you!! For anyone complaining of the price, you get what you pay for. Much cheaper than installing a fence and easier to use and more accurate than any other gps collar, plus unlike the other gps collars you don’t have to purchase a monthly subscription!!

I was very hesitant to buy the collar due to how expensive it is. But after having it I am really glad that I purchased it. We live on 40 acres with Coyotes bantering my dog. He now doesn’t dig under the chain link fence and MIA for days. I like how I can can multiple fences at the Lake and at my parents house. It gives him the freedom of roaming and exploring but knowing he has a “fence”.
I’ve had a couple issues with my collar and every time I’ve called customer service they have answered my phone calls, which is almost impossible now a days to get a real human to talk to. The customer service is amazing and has been so helpful.
If you’re on the fence about purchasing this collar… I say DO IT! You won’t be disappointed.

Purchased SpoOn for my dog Snoop. I had literally bought every containment system I could locally, with disappointing results. SpotOn allows Snoop to roam my entire 4 acres and me worry free! Absolutely the best containment system I’ve bought. My neighbors ask how I get him to stay in the yard so good. The tracking works perfect, the no go zones I have around my moms house who lives on the same property work great! The only thing I wish was a little better is battery life, it’s no biggie, just have to charge it every day. But with the technology in this thing I understand the battery consumption. And the price is a little stuff, But this is a 5⭐️ pet containment that you won’t regret dropping the $$$ on if your serious about keeping your dog safe and happy.

I have a husky mix who mostly stays close to home but has been known to wander on occasion. We have several acres of woods I wanted him to be able to play in but fencing would’ve been impossible. (Especially for an escape artist husky) SpotOn has given him the freedom to roam and better yet - I don’t ever have to wonder where he is. It was worth every single penny and at this point, I have no idea what we would do without it. Their customer service team has been great, too, helping me out when I was having issues with my card.

I did briefly bring the collar to northern Vermont where there is almost 0 cell service and it didn’t function well. I have okay cell service at my house but the collar works perfectly here. So might need a trial run for remote areas.

The SpotOn collar has been the BEST product we have added to our farm, and they collars have given me such peace of mind for my dogs. We have 28 acres of land, but live close to a busy road. Before SpotOn, our Great Pyrenees had been in the road several times and was almost hit by a car with me watching. By using the collars, I was able to easily setup a virtual fence for the dogs. The dogs trained quickly to the warning tones when they were nearing the fence line. I was able to firsthand witness one of them getting close to the road and turn around as soon as the collar beeped.

Setup of the collars was a breeze using the new app and monitoring location through SpotOnGPSFence is great. I can’t say enough good things about SpotOn. It was an investment that I’d make all over again for the protection and peace of mind knowing my dogs are within their set boundary.

I purchased two of these collars for my Presse Canario pups . They each figured out how to nibble the quick release fasteners on these collars and take them off of each other. Then they destroyed them the first day they were turned out . This has happened twice and SpotOn has covered these collars when it wasn’t expected but very much appreciated . I solved this problem hopefully. I put a small spike type collar in the front and rear of the collars . So far it has kept them from nibbling the clasp. I have these guardians running about 300acres of the farm and it is amazing how well it works . I can touch the track icon and see where they are spending their time during the day and they are checking fences when I’m gone . . I love it . I highly recommend this system . My pups are too smart for their own good figuring out the clasp is probably not common.

I probably order an XL instead of the L ( yes I didn’t read the manual), my dog got a terrible rash and had to be shaved. They sent me a replacement strap to make it smaller and I hope it’ll work. After spending over $1k on a collar, I think I got second to none customer service. They apologize even if it wasn’t their fault, they care about my Mali well being and that matters to me. I got the strap replacement and I hope it’ll work. Extremely easy to do business, they have a super easy to work with.
