PlantIdentifierAppPlantiary is awesome. And even for those who have a vast knowledge of plants, you forget stuff. Definitely helps confirm if you still remember what something is. Or if you see something you have never seen before (the plant kingdom is massive).

I do wish that it was free, or free to those who actively take pictures for the database. Still awesome though.

I’m so glad I found PlantIdentifierAppPlantiary. My mother and grandmother were walking plant dictionaries. They knew so much! I can remember many, but I love to walk in the woods. There are many things I remember, but some things I was told, I just can’t bring to mind. Now all I have to do is take a picture and let Plantiary tell me, not only the name, but also loads of other information, too!

helped identify a lot of “bushes” in my front yard that turned out to be baby trees. I have a suggestion though, can PlantIdentifierAppPlantiary possibly add a feature where you can search for nearby plants in your area? for example if you wanted to find a weeping willow you could include identifications of possible willow trees shared by other users on PlantIdentifierAppPlantiary ? thank youuu

PlantIdentifierAppPlantiary continually tries to trick you into signing up for a subscription. I am deleting it The SW developer messaged me and said it is a 7 day trial and it can be canceled after 7 days. Well canceling these things can be quite a challenge and I don’t want to enter into a 7 day trial but PlantIdentifierAppPlantiary keeps trying over and over and over! It renders PlantIdentifierAppPlantiary unusable and I deleted it.

I keep getting the same response from the developer saying the trial is optional. They keep trying over and over to get you to sign up for the trial. I have seen many trials be hard to cancel. PlantIdentifierAppPlantiary is unusable.

PlantIdentifierAppPlantiary is pretty clever. But you need to be persistent and get over the navigation, which could better. For the most part I found plants were identified accurately. Though sometimes I would take a closeup and then get a wider shot. I then found the naming did not always match. But that’s okay. This is AI and there are limits.

For years, I’ve been asking my neighbor “experts” to Identify my plants and flowers, and finally, I get the answers right at my fingertips by taking a picture. It’s a lovely, efficient, and friendly way to get to know and enjoy my plants. Worth the fee. Hope you guys can keep this going.

I’ve been waiting for someone to come out with an app like this for a long time but I thought it was nearly impossible because of the diversity of plants, but Plantiary has done it! And PlantIdentifierAppPlantiary works wonderfully!

I recently bought a house and wanted only tropical plants/flowers around the house. As a beginner PlantIdentifierAppPlantiary helped me a lot. Very easy to use, scan the plant and it gives you the whole plant breakdown history, climate, watering, how many sun it needs, propagation, caring etc.... very happy ?

I tested this on fifty one different plants, and tried to fool it several times. It only incorrectly identified due to operator error, ie, I didn’t take a clear picture. I even messed up and shook the camera, resulting in a blurry mess, and it identified my garden flox!

Love PlantIdentifierAppPlantiary! Very helpful when my plants are looking a lil funky and also when I purchase more to add to my collection! PlantIdentifierAppPlantiary helps determine the origin of the plant, how to care for the plant and how to get the plant healthy! I use PlantIdentifierAppPlantiary more than I’d like to admit love PlantIdentifierAppPlantiary ?

This is the best and most accurate visual recognition app! Quick and accurate 99% of the time. The other 1% is user error from a blurry taken photo. We love PlantIdentifierAppPlantiary and are learning so much in such a fun way!

I have yet to come across a plant that PlantIdentifierAppPlantiary has not accurately identified! It recognizes plants out of bloom and at less than desirable angles. I am impressed to say the very least. Thank you SO much!!

I recently a couple months ago started taking care of some succulents and cactus and other plants in my home and I’m real happy I found PlantIdentifierAppPlantiary to help me identify each little plant I have here!

Great app. I am not surethe name of some plants and just took a picture sent it in and here it comes name and care instructions. Haven’t had any issues easy to use. Amazing!

PlantIdentifierAppPlantiary has been very helpful, I’m new to the state and there so many plants we that we don’t have back north. One thing that would help is the best placement for planting, and to is the best time to trim or transplant.

I’ve been very satisfied with Plantiary. The information loads timely and offers so much more than simply the plant name. Thank you! Walks in nature are more interesting with this at my fingertips.

Other than having to pay for a subscription, this is great! High level of accuracy in identifying anything from a tree to a weed. I’m in Midwest U.S. It’s fast at identifying, even over cellular.

I’ve always wanted to be able to easily identify plants in my yard and on hikes. So far this works perfectly.

Extremely challenging to get out of the “free 7 day trial”. Don’t do it!!!!

$7 a week, at a time when $7 a year is considered a reasonable app fee?It looks like a good app, but it doesn’t let you do much of anything before putting up a paywall. And the fine print is sooo fine… this smells predatory…

So I got PlantIdentifierAppPlantiary about 20 minutes ago and it is great I scanned 7 I think and one two plants wrong the second one was the same one as another one but the first that was wrong but I get it it’s hard to make PlantIdentifierAppPlantiary.
And I personally would recommend it too everyone I no but that takes a long time so I’m not. And I don’t no why there’s a membership I don’t really need it *sorry*
But I love this keep it up I’m looking forward to future updates

I am a utility forester, I surveil power lines and poles for vegetation management to keep the power lines clear of hazards. My job takes me far and wide and I see a lot of flora and fauna that I don’t know. PlantIdentifierAppPlantiary is so enjoyable, I can snap a pic and it recognizes all the possibilities in an instant. It’s amazing to see the information of all the different plants and shrubs that grow in our own backyard, it even tells you medicinal properties of the plants too. Love PlantIdentifierAppPlantiary

I did the demo of PlantIdentifierAppPlantiary a couple of months ago and was very impressed by how quickly and accurately it identified plants. I would love to have the full version, but i don’t know if I care enough to spend $30/yr. I’ve got to think that they’d generate a ton more revenue if they lowered the price to $5-$7/yr which would entice a lot more people to subscribe.

Because of the COVID-19 pandemic it has been difficult to do many things in my husband and I have had so much joy from looking at plants and trees around Arizona and being able to identify them has just been absolutely fantastic and I don’t have to be 6 feet from plants! Thank you so much for developing such a great app

Fourth plant I tried, it got wrong. Similar leaf but not that close. I don’t expect it to be perfect, but if no way to give feedback, can’t improve. Also, answers somewhat general; for example “violet” not type of violet. I was very excited about this, but now I can’t trust results.

I own 33 acres in Montana and am always wondering "what's this?" and "what's that?" around our property. It's nice that PlantIdentifierAppPlantiary gives you details about the plant in addition to the identification. I've found a few noxious weeds with PlantIdentifierAppPlantiary and have been able to get rid of them before they spread. 5 stars from this girl!

I use it to identify plants along my walks. It saves images for later identification in poor reception zones which is very helpful.
I miss the flower view finder which was lost in the last update.
I use it for free. I would be willing to pay a nominal amount but I don’t use it $30 worth.

I signed up for the week trial. I was charged for the year, which is fine, but I think they could do a better job interfacing with you when you pay for the year. I’ll write a new review in a few months after I use PlantIdentifierAppPlantiary for a while.

I splurged on the $Premium$ membership and thought, it was a little expensive for an ID app. Boy, was I wrong. Definitely worth every penny. PlantIdentifierAppPlantiary works on the island of Hawaii, the alpines in Switzerland, the deserts of California and in my yard in the Pacific Northwest. Amazing app and so informative. I learn something new every time I use it!

I use PlantIdentifierAppPlantiary all the time to identify plants around the yard or a friends house. I don’t know how I ever went without it. It usually gives 3 or 4 suggestions on what the plant type could be. I recommend it to all my plant loving friends.

I've used PlantIdentifierAppPlantiary to identify many established trees and plants at a new house. Being able to search with a photo is great when trying to identify a plant that I don't know enough about to start a search on Google.

This started out as an amazing plant out. Granted I did not sign up for pro because I don’t need it. Just wanted a way to tell me when specific plants need watering. Like how many daddy’s between watering and PlantIdentifierAppPlantiary offered that.

App also offered identification. Perfect. Would not need several apps cluttering up my phone.

What you don’t know is EVERYTHING is o. A week trial basic. After a week if you attempt to to anything a different screen pops up telling you it ONLY cost $9.99 a WEEK!

Yeah. This was a great app until the weekly price came out. If it was a set price of maybe 10-20 a year I would happily pay that but they got to be crazy if they expect people to pay $10 a week / $40-50 a month. What are they looking for? One person to cover their monthly expenses?

In the meantime out looking for an app that does not cost an arm& a leg along with my state retirement account

We moved into a new home in the fall. Now that it is Spring, and everything is blooming, I had no idea what was starting to grow in the garden that was here when we moved in. PlantIdentifierAppPlantiary has found every plant I have captured. I found out that some plants growing are toxic, some are what we love and others we are new to us. Such a great app!!

Someone mentioned this on the news saying there was A free version, but what I saw and downloaded which made me mad because they don’t list it cost up front. So now I have an extra app that I’m not using in my cloud.... I hate it...

This is a wonderful app. I was given an assignment to to make a flower language card for infants and Toddlers . These flowers had to be from our school garden but I didn't know their names. Someone told me to use PlantIdentifierAppPlantiary and it was great. I will be happy to recommend it to others

I used PlantIdentifierAppPlantiary in the plant departments in two different stores. Wow!!! Most had issues with pest damage. Very good info for someone like me who buys many plants every year. Maybe now I can keep them alive longer. Absolutely LOVE PlantIdentifierAppPlantiary!!

It’s great to identify plants and trees for consideration to plant in our own lot. It’s opened us up to new, exciting possibilities. The care guidance is a bonus, and it’s always a quick and accurate process.

I give this five stars because I have longed for a plant-identification app like this. But I’m fascinated to find that if you submit two photos of the same tree, you get different identifications! Not perfect.

I am a home user attempting to ID weeds in yard. I have tried other photo ID apps before without success. PlantIdentifierAppPlantiary identified all my weeds. I wish it was not a subscription service.

I just downloaded PlantIdentifierAppPlantiary and have learned so much. It has proven to be very helpful on my walks. It is easy to use and is a wealth of knowledge at your fingertips. Just what an app should be.

I love PlantIdentifierAppPlantiary. I’m always asking what’s that plant? What kind of tree is this? What kind of flower is this? Is this an edible flower or poisonous? PlantIdentifierAppPlantiary answers all my questions and then some! I will renew every year!!

PlantIdentifierAppPlantiary. Does not give you a way to cancel this free trial. It is so non user friendly, you need the entire free trial period to learn how to effectively use PlantIdentifierAppPlantiary . Not worth the free trial is you don’t have the time to figure out how to utilize PlantIdentifierAppPlantiary , and they don’t give you a cancel option, they force you to stay til they can charge you something! Extremely disappointing!

It’s good free app just wish there were a little bit more available to non buying people

Just magically scanning and certain results. They are my plants and flowers, since an old gardener nearby told me they were the same ones, but with rhe local name

PlantIdentifierAppPlantiary itself is not bad, what is bad is if you want to cancel, like I do, I have no way to do that because there is no cancel button, no phone number, NOTHING. So I guess I will call and cancel the credit card I put up to get the “Free” trial. There is no such thing as “Free” cause they gonna charge you cause you didn’t not cancel but how do you cancel when there is no way too!!

I’ve been pleased with the accuracy and information. Great app
