The app isn’t working at all I’ve deleted it and reinstalled that didn’t work, I turned off my device and turned back on that didn’t work. My child’s daycare doesn’t seem to have a clue just said everyone is having technical difficulties this week. I’m sure you’ve also received my email in response to your email subjected “Problem Resolved.” The issue has not been resolved. I’ve tried logging in and it’s still not letting me log in. I called - again - and received the same message “It’ll take 24-48 hours.” I’ve lost all trust in you guys. You guys have been behind but that’s a problem on your end. What you’re telling me that I cannot get any of my child’s updates or updates from her daycare for the past week and a half because you guys are behind? When I only need two of my accounts to be reset? Please do not email me your response to this. Call me. My case number is SA0015229. I’m sure you’ll find my number there. Hi, My child’s daycare started using this app on the 31st. I’m the only parent in that daycare without being able to see what the hell is going on with my 5 months old because of your lack of management and organization. I’ve been calling you guys since last Thursday to get you guys to reset my account. I was told that I’ll be receiving a call “tomorrow.” It’s a week today and I still haven’t received anything from any of you. I’ve been calling everyday and each day I called, I was told “I see a ticket put in here for you.” Well no shit that there’s a ticket. After a week of waiting, there better be 7 tickets. 6, since I’m quite understanding that you guys didn’t work on Monday. I called again yesterday and the representative told me that she passed my message to “the big people” and that I should be receiving a call back from three “big people” by “today,” which was yesterday (6/1). And here I am. Whoever she refered to as “big” doesn’t seem so big after all. Or perhaps, she has a different definition of what “big” is.
The guardian ID and family ID provided to me by my daughter's daycare isn't working. I am unable to access the app.

We have had this mess of an app for a year now. There have been no noticeable improvements in that time, except maybe the app now opens sometimes if you’re lucky.
There have been no changes to the messaging parts of the app. Autocorrect does not work, and messages have a 50% success rate at going through. The chance of the message actually being read is even less because notifications are still basically nonexistent. The only form of notification is a disappearing stack of banner notifications. I can’t tell you how many times I have missed a message from school because the notification disappeared or was buried in a stack of other things.
The app must be difficult for the teachers to use, too. I haven’t gotten a picture of my oldest child in several weeks. I only get updates about my younger one at nap time.
The app remains incredibly slow, glitchy, and cumbersome. It’s hard to use, is not intuitive, and seriously hampers our ability to know what our kids are doing and communicate with the school.
I had high hopes that changes would be made to make this app better, but in a year, there have been none. LCG should have done something about this dumpster fire a long time ago, but they instead continue to disrespect the parents who pay huge amounts in tuition by giving them this subpar, barely-functional-on-a-good-day app.

So the school leadership has reached out to SproutAbout about my profile saying disabled she was informed 48 hours this was false, then I speak with 3 different people asking me the same basic questions and saying I will get a call back. Never do just someone knew asking me if my app is up to date and still having issues I say yes it’s up to date and yes it’s still shoveling disabled. They informed the daycare that it was resolved which it has not been… and they informed her they have a very small staff… I actually liked the app we used within the daycare prior I never had any issues. Brightwheel was amazing to use as well as WatchMeGrow. But for some reason SproutAbout is an issue for not only us parents but for the staff as well.

Not sure why our daycare pays for this app. It’s often glitchy, video and photos have issues when trying to tap to view, and lately I can’t even get the update feed to load. Daycares need to pick a different app developer because this one isn’t worth it.
Edit - welp turns out this app is owned Learning Care Grouo which is owned by a private equity firm who also owns the daycare we send our kid to. Probably means the daycares are captive clients (ie probably forced to use this app). Also means this app will always be terrible because if the daycares are forced to use it because they are both owned by the same parent company there probably won’t be competition from an outside app company…. Thanks for making a terrible app in the name of profit
