Set up is easy shut your phone off and you have to go back in the room with your phone to reload. If it’s a room monitor you shouldn’t have to go back in the room. It’s connected to the phone it’s connected to your Internet. You could be anywhere your phone is in the camera should work. It’s too short range. V720 is garbage.

Got it on TEMU, which everything else works and is good! Took a while to show up but for the price, I’m impressed with everything.

The camera though, I couldn’t get past the final step of connection.
“Network connection time out”
Tried 10 times. Oh well. $3.50 down the drain but got a 64g SD card out of it lol.

If you’re serious about wanting to protect your home with video surveillance please do NOT purchase this camera or app as neither one works at all! It’s just a VERY basic camera that sometimes works but V720 never finds the camera! Complete and total waste of time & money!

I tried for about 30 minutes to get it to connect, I typed the WiFi and crap over and over and it kept saying failed when I knew everything is correct

I was assuming that I’m going to have issues since every time I get something from China it’s not working at its fake, then when you are asking for returning label, they are not providing you with one, you must deliver it to the address they provide you with and pay shipping costs, which of course would be around the same amount of your order m. So in this case just dispute the charges if they todo not want to provide retuning label! Camera is totally mess, the recording is not even clear, then when try to open you recoding all you hear is weird noise, then you cannot watch video because you camera some how is offline…. Looking to find the resin why is offline but no luck!!! So I gust I’m just despite my payment !!!

Download was easy but once I closed V720 (as someone would do when not using their phone) then later opened it to check on the room to try it out and see if the camera works. Well the whole thing shut down and it was wanting me to go through the set up process all over again. So if you set up the camera, close V720 down and then leave the house (or with this you don’t even have to leave) then it won’t work because the camera won’t stay connected to V720 . SAVE YOUR MONEY, BUYER BEWARE!!

I was able to connect it smoothly but I couldn't see anything because it kept going back to “installation guide, Choose a name” screen. Every time i would be quick enough to click on the camera that was “Online”, it would load to 70% and then say that there was a disconnection. It gave me the option to reconnect, and of course, it would reach to 90% and take me right back to choosing the name for the camera.

I know i got what I payed for.. but atleast let me use it with the crappy image.

It worked until the new update. Once i did it the camera went offline in the network viewing mode but for the short range viewing it works fine. I have tried everything. I reset it. I deleted the camera and tried to set it up again. I deleted V720 and tried going from the beginning of the set up and it just will not go back online for long range viewing it only links up with short range viewing. So like the title says GARBAGE

Just purchased from Temu online and it won’t connect to my Wi-Fi directly. Strongly advise not to purchase this camera. It notated only 2.4 ghz Wi-Fi compatible but it asks that you input the Wi-Fi network and password to connect which I am very hesitant to do and will not input any of my passwords into a foreign app. Plus my phone doesn’t even find the device on my Bluetooth.

Everything worked fine for me. The set up/installation was easy. Even on V720 it was easy enough that a 10 yr old could understand. But 10-15 after installing the battery died 😵. Would not recommend unless you want to recharge every 10-20 minutes 😐

This camera doesn’t stay on to long, if you turn off and or it just stops, you need to start to reconnect to your phone, its a waste of time, sometimes its hard to even get it to connect to your phone. Not happy with it.

I bought two of them and both do not work they keep going offline and never got to it doing anything except for blinking and nothing else. Unless you want a fake camera do not buy junk.

I purchased this little camera off of Temu and it had some good reviews so I bought it and when it got here which was 4 days ago I’ve been trying to set it up and it will not work at all V720 won’t let me set it up and this is the right app I look through all the information on how it set it up and I followed all of the instructions and I’ve tried it every day and it still wont work PLEASE DO NOT BUY AND WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS TRASHY LITTLE THING

Do yourself a favor and don't trust this company with your wifi and data information. I connected it and first saw you can't record for more than 6 seconds, then when you try to live stream it my phone got extremely hot. I have a Iphone 14 Pro Max which this brings me a lot of worry because not even my ring camera brings that much over heating to my phone.

I was able to get it to work maybe like 1 min then it freezes and stays stuck. , that app is trash and the camera is no good for it turns off on you when it wants to is being controlled by. Someone else. , wasted money and I can’t even use it , disappointed on this product and V720 aswell. , I can’t recommend this to anyone. Sorry and sad to say but you got me again .

AP MODE IS AN UNSECURED WIDE OPEN NETWORK THAT ANYONE CAN JOIN!!!
It has no security whatsoever. You cannot change the password yourself and anybody can get on that Wi-Fi hotspot because I hooked up to it as did my friend just to see and that is the only way I believe you can have two way monitoring so be careful it’s not worth it, you’re leaving your device and your information wide open as well as potentially your camera feed…..

Obviously should have known being where it came from, but be SUPER careful w V720 & setup!!! During set up it very easily brings you to third-party apps and disguises them making it look like you’re still in the sign-up process for V720.
My less tech savvy partner thot you needed to enter a credit card number in there would be no charges although it did charge $1.25., and hidden subscription fees, and it ended up being a third-party dating app!!!!
ALSO, MORE IMPORTANTLY… if you use AP mode to connect to the device’s Wi-Fi hotspot, you are connecting your phone or device to an OPEN, UNSECURED, WiFi network. IT HAS NO SECURITY, Anybody can connect to it w out password, & you are unable to change the password. Therefore leaving your device, info wide open & probably your camera transmissions as well. So just beware and remember what, you paid for because as they say you get what you pay for. Avoid it all together

The downloading process was quick and easy but every time I open the camera to view any of the recording logs or even to just see the live stream it crashes and closes V720 .

This device is a piece of garbage! It does not hold a charge for one it keeps going off-line by itself for no reason at all. We’re not record will not Advance the screen and lock sympposition.. Do not buy!!!!!!

The device kept flashing check equipment network. It kept disconnecting and took too long to reconnect. Also V720 doesn’t allow or have a zoom in and out feature. Not a good app over all.

Do not get this camera. It will most likely not let you see the footage. Also I accidentally deleted V720 and I tried to re download it but it wasn’t your card information. So absolutely DO NOT BUT THIS DEVICE

What a scam the devices won’t power on and won’t connect to V720 aren’t even discoverable on Bluetooth. What a waste of money. Don’t waste your money like I did.

Tired to use it after I bought it and it wouldn’t let me finish the installation process, it would keep saying the device is offline and it would keep bringing me to the install finish screen where you pick a name for you camera🫤

In AP live mode, if I click recording button on live video, it only save a picture instead the video. If you can fix this bug, this camera can be a quite useful one. I will update my review once this bug is fixed.

IF you can keep it plugged in all the time, AND fairly close to the Wi-Fi source, AND keep V720 opened all the time, then it’s pretty good for the price. but the battery doesn’t last very long, So you’re constantly recharging it. doesn’t seem very practical.

It finally connected to the camera, and when I tried to record a video on it to be sent on my phone, it came as an image and basically it doesn’t record videos without an SD card. I’ve inserted an SD card, however it doesn’t record stable either. Sometimes it doesn’t record at all and all videos are splitted minute by minute.

This little camera for the price I paid for is worth it, but the battery does not last even 45 minutes so I had to hide in a spot in my house where I could keep it plugged in and the audio’s decent enough. The visual is decent enough for me. this is just to get a general idea what my partner is doing when I’m not home I just wanna know if I would’ve purchased another camera can you work two of them on the same app like do you just switch back-and-forth that’s what I really wanna know but other than that if you just want to make sure of whatever situation it is worth it it’s just that the battery does not lie so if you can find a place to keep it plugged in and it be inconspicuous you’re good to go.

I love that the cameras are so affordable and they actually have pretty decent quality but I wish there was a option to set up motion detection on V720 , would make these cameras 1000 times better if there was just that one extra feature!

I have had kids toy cameras that look and act better than this camera. No complaints about V720 , very minimalist. Not sure what the full light option being open or closure is supposed to mean, but it is Chinese trap trash after all so I didn’t/don't expect much.

not gonna lie I did not know how to turn it on at first, and I probably still don’t know how to turn it on. I’ve been looking at these instructions for a very long time and maybe because I’m old but yeah I do not know how to use this please someone help me.

Contrary to most reviews here, my camera does work, and one can view it when one leaves the house, on your cellphone by opening V720 .
Unlike one complaint, there’s no need to re-pair your home router with the camera each time you close V720 . Sometimes it takes 3 - 30 seconds (or even a couple attempts) to connect, but once connected, you can see your home camera’s view, including audio, from wherever you are as long as your cellphone has internet access.
Video quality is admittedly not great in terms of clarity and color rendition, but for a $6 camera I didn’t expect more. Infrared light for low light viewing doesn’t really work.
USB cord is very short so assuming you want camera to last longer than running on rechargeable battery alone, an extension USB cord will likely be needed.
You can take snapshots of the view saved to V720 or to your camera roll. Saving video clips doesn’t work for me, however.
Still, for $6, it does what I hoped it would.

Definitely small enough to keep watch.

The quality isn’t bad either from V720 . Also love how it has night vision to see better in the dark.

I still have to test it out with the SD card but it’s amazing so far!

I have bought more expensive “high tech” cameras before and they haven’t worked as well. It doesn’t have a lot of bells and whistles but for the price it is beyond what I anticipated getting out of it. Picky people give it a bad rap and it really is a good setup

I’m surprised about all the bad reviews because it worked for me and I didn’t even use the instructions; it’s an A9 camera. I purchased it for $2 off of Aliexpress and I was sort of worried to use it after seeing the reviews but honestly I like V720 . Although, you cannot zoom in or out and the quality is pretty dog water but it’s overall not bad at all. I’d definitely say it’s worth it if you’re trying to save money because you can even hear audio on it. Also, you can save videos and photos on V720 . You can even use the playback feature to get previous footage.

Of all the crap I've bought off Temu, this $6 cam is probably the only thing I haven't gotten a refund on. I got it to keep an eye on my vehicles and it's got a pretty clear picture when facing outside. The setup was easy and you can even set up a passcode to keep someone from seeing what you see if they got in your phone. Audio quality isn't bad either. The battery life isn't very long so you have to keep it close to a power source. Overall, not bad.
