Owned by some random LLC in Australia. That alone doesn't bother me, but when they lock your account after 1 day of browsing ThaiCupid , and they request a copy of your passport to continue using ThaiCupid , that’s when I five this a hard pass. Do they ask all the ladies for copies of their passports? I doubt it… they don’t even require women to fill in all of the profile info, yet for men, who are the ones who pay to use ThaiCupid , if you fill in ANY profile info you are required to complete it all. Yikes. Basically the company is harvesting your data to sell. No thanks.

They terminate my account before I even message anyone. I thought must be some type of error so I make another account and that account was terminated also. I never got to complete my account or even message anyone. I tried to reactivate my account and they asked for government ID. It’s not even worth the hassle. I just checked my email and have over a hundred messages from women and thank you for terminating my account. I was not impressed to say the least.

This site is a rip off I recommend visiting Thailand rather than waiting your money on long distance communication with beautiful women yes they are but there’s a language barrier when communicating through ThaiCupid and depending on where you live in the states the time zones are off your up during the day and there sleeping it’s awkward I wasted $40 but you live and you learn. I’m going to take a trip rather than give my money away to a worthless app

After being on this site for a 8 months, 6 people in the US are on this site. And only 2 somewhere near me. Both haven’t been on in over 3 months. All the rest 85 + likes are from Thailand. I’m not into importing a gf or wife. Of the 85+ likes most are suspicious and the small percentage that isn’t, isn’t worth your time. If you are looking it import a wife this may be a starting point but that’s not my gig. The US part of this is straight trash.

If you pay for ThaiCupid , after 1 month. ThaiCupid will log you out. You write to ThaiCupid IT. They will give one chance to log back in. But they will wait for a long while, then send you an email saying you have 1 hour with a “link” to reset your password at your inconvenience. Then the IT will never respond to you again. Stealing your 3,6,12 month subscription.

Can’t read any incoming messages or reply then unless you pay for premium.

You really should allow people to read messages and reply just because not every American you think wants to pay for that service will . When we have 20+ dating apps of our own. Just be honest if it’s about love then let people find each other . If it’s about money then disregard this message and keep making it difficult for people

This is the ONLY one I know of that does not use the horrid swipe system and it is wonderful. You can pick who you want to message and there is no deck of cards or anything. Plenty of great people to meet as well. Wish they would expand into the US one day. How every dating site/app should be designed.

A very good app but could be free for a day to get a soulmate. I am from bangladesh not able to access payment mode from my Standard Chartered Debit Card.
