Surfed sounded great, and I bought the pro version, but it has not worked on my iPhone, my iPad, nor on my Mac. I’m sure I’m just missing something, but there’s no way to get support. When I go onto Surfed , there is no section for technical support. In the FAQ, there is no section for troubleshooting. There is a link that says contact me, which goes nowhere. I would write it at zero, but the lowest, alas, is 1.

No history listing at all, safari extension has been installed.

No email or contact method is listed here or on your website.

I downloaded wanting to edit my existing history. Once I realized it couldn't do that I removed it. Opened up Safari and one years worth of search history is gone without warning. Very, very bad to delete user data without notifying a user first!

Paid for Surfed but this functionality doesn’t actually work.

I really want to like this. I have been waiting for the promised iCloud sync that recently arrived but it doesn't work on the Mac I use the most. I contacted support (finding that email address was not as straightforward as I had expected) and received a response. I tried the recommended solutions which did not work. I emailed back to let them know I still needed help and that is all I have heard. I really hope I can get this to work and I didn't want to do support by review but it looks like that is what it has come to. YMMV but so far I am not really loving the update.

I decided to support Surfed based on the potential. I'm hoping it does get developed. For now, Surfed has plenty of bugs. For example, the Smart Collections don't work. I've both created my own, and added some from the gallery, and they don't add or tag anything. In addition, Surfed will randomly ask me to buy the Pro version when I try to do something, even though I've already paid for it.

At this time, Surfed also doesn't sync between devices, so you have to export and import everything. This is a pro purchase. It was the reason I upgraded, only to encounter multiple problems when trying to upload.

Hope these issues get fixed soon, because it does have potential. I'll gladly update my review when that happens.

It’s annoying having the blue menu in the bottom right corner on every website I visit. It only just recently started popping up. I don’t want to disable the browser history but just want to disable the blue menu

Surfed does what it says it does. Unfortunately, the recent update seems to have deleted all my Safari browsing history from before September 2023 with no way to recover it. While this is partially my fault for not using Time Machine, it's also the exact opposite of what I wanted, and I'll not be using Surfed again.

looking forward to the future of Surfed . I don't think its scratched the surface of what it'll end up being able to do.

The mac version has some quirks that I think need to be ironed out.

1) thanks for making the menu bar icon and being able to hide the icon from the dock, but when clicking a reminder url Surfed opens, i don't think it needs to though!

Ever notice how some google searches disappear in Safaris history? Surfed fixes that issue. It tracks whatever you want to track and let’s you BLOCK the tracking of whatever you don’t want to track. Personally, I just use it to track my Google searches—because Safari makes them disappear! Surfed is so good, it feels like something Apple would do. My only request is for Surfed to have iCloud sync. It would be a great pro feature — a very logical feature I think people would pay for. Just today, I was using Surfed on an iPad mini; and had to go to my main IPad to find a Google search (because the history doesn’t sync).

this app rules. It lets me retrace my steps through the web, because I can’t keep tabs open forever and I don’t always bookmark what I intend to.

However, it would be great if history either synced across devices or was accessible across devices.

Purchased Pro, but unable to use pro feature on iMac to sync with iPhone & iPad.
