Maybe it’s just me but everyone who’s asked to swap with me is a small or x-small, and I am a large x-large. I’ve had trouble also finding stuff in my size in the swap drops. I’m also iffy on that concept as well, i dont know why stuff can’t just go live when you post it.

We’re all ready for an app specific to trading up our gently used slow fashion faves and here it is! So much thought and energy has gone into (and continues to!) creating this amazing community. Some of my most beloved closet staples have come from this community. Join us!

I’ve been trading items from my closet for almost a month now and I’ve traded 15 items so far! It’s been so much fun giving unused pieces a new life and getting to try new brands and styles. I also love the discussions people post on LuckySweater , as well as getting inspired by other users’ outfits.

Isthmus feels like a lovely and welcoming destination on my phone! For anyone who cares about slow fashion and clothing that lasts, this is the place to be. I love how easy it is to filter items and to communicate with other users. They are off to a great start and I know there are a ton more exciting updates coming our way!

I’ve had such a wonderful time swapping unused items from my closet with other people on Lucky Sweater. It’s a fantastic way to reduce my spending while making connections with people (and refreshing my wardrobe of course)! I love the new additions that have been made to LuckySweater recently and can’t wait to see what’s next.

If you’re looking for a more purposeful, more ethical way to get “new” clothes, try trading with like-minded stylish people! There is already a great selection here and most clothing is in excellent or like-new condition. Get something “new” to you and cut down on waste, while making some lasting connections in the process. A much better alternative to overconsumption.

It is rare to find such a thoughtfully created app. The founders’ genuine enthusiasm and openness to feedback is really refreshing, and this generous spirit has shaped a community that is just so wonderful and kind. I love having a space to give my clothes a second (or third!) life and try new things. It’s a particularly fun way to reduce my environmental footprint while connecting with lovely people and exploring new makers and designers!

Update: customer service immediately reached out and got this issue fixed - yay! I’m actually even more impressed with LuckySweater now. No complaints!

It’s a great idea and I love it when it works, but at least once a day I have to delete LuckySweater and redownload it, sign in again, etc. I can’t send feedback either because I get an error message every time.

Isthmus is a great community centered around and promoting slow fashion. The concept is fantastic as trading opens solely on Tuesdays so you don’t feel pressured all week to browse/trade. During the week, you can still participate in discussions. The creators have obviously put so much work and love into LuckySweater and are always giving weekly updates, adding brands, accepting and incorporating feedback, and making it even better!

If you love clothes but not debt, this is a joy!
