Eskimo asks for your date of birth for registration. I never used an eSIM data only app asking for data of birth.

It doesn’t live up to the global service label. We visited Naples, Malta, Sicily, Barcelona, and Genova. Out of these five cities, 2/5 (40%) have no service at all. It felt pretty bad when you had no GPS and Internet.

My this app data purchased worked well , though more expensive than other e-Sim online offers. However on sharing and transfer to my family members who also downloaded Eskimo , did not work overseas Support was sought and reset done but still inoperative. They gave up using this app and reverted to online eSIM purchases again.

So far, I’ve used this app in several countries and by and large, I’m impressed. I hope they add many more countries in the future! I’ve recommended Eskimo to many of my friends and family!

I’ve used this app esim in current trip - Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, UAE, Oman, Nepal, India and even my 80th country in the world - Bangladesh!

Everything about this app was easy from set up and usage. Even though it may be a little more expensive than some of the other eSIM out there… this app is the only eSIM company out there so far that let us keep our data for 2 years before expiring. Love the fact that I won’t have unused data go to waste after my travels and I can even transfer some data to families and friends if they need data too.

I travel considerably from the USA to Europe or Asian countries. This was the first time using this app based on a referral from a friend. I panicked when I forgot to download the eSIM prior to leaving the USA but wifi at LHR was plenty strong enough. I kept myself in airplane mode and the eSIM downloaded, and within a few minutes cell service picked up with no issues. I even had no issue with iMessage or FaceTime (I’ve had this happen with other eSIMs on my iPhone 11). Service picked up after landing in BER and FRA. I did panic a bit when it showed I was almost 50% out of data. However, that was for the free 500mb I was burning through first. Which leaves me to my only feedback for Eskimo : Make the usability just a bit more clear to show the user has “x % of y total data left”. It look me a few moments to study the screen to see that I had not touched my 10gig yet. On the way to BRU. Hoping for same success! Good luck everyone!
