Dominoes Café Reviews

I’ve been playing this for a few short months and loving it but recently, since yesterday, the game has been freezing up. I’ve deleted the game and restarted since yesterday many times. Tried later in the day same thing. Checked to see if app was updated and it was but it keeps freezing. Just tried 11:04 PST and still the same and repeated all steps from above. This is what it’s doing, Let’s me play one tile and then it freezes. Can’t get out of the specific game without getting out of DominoesCafé .

Would be a lot funnier if DominoesCafé didn’t try to even the game out. If you’re up by too much DominoesCafé will assign you multiple double tiles to give the other player a chance. It happens almost every game — sometimes to my advantage, sometimes to my disadvantage — I get what they’re trying to do (create suspense, increase the time you’re playing). But ultimately it’s what made me stop playing. It’s way too obvious. Assign the tiles at random!

I either take the time to write 5 star reviews or 1 star reviews. This is for the latter as DominoesCafé crashes and never loads upon launch on my iPad running iOS 15.1 … ridiculous. Sometimes I’ll get as far as a black screen of death with my Netflix avatar in the top left corner of the screen, but that’s as far as I’ve gotten in about 15 tries. Should I punish myself and keep trying. I know Dory would want me to regardless how insurmountable these crash currents may seem 😂

Not a bad game on my iPhone. It works fine, but the ai feels like its cheating a time…. It would give you up to five doubles in a hand, which is almost impossible to win a hand like that, and it feel like it knows every piece you have because it will block it right away! Doesn’t feel natural!!! Hopefully they will let you play against other players in the future

I loved playing this game. I’ve been playing for a couple of months until recently. When I updated my iOS software on my iPad as well as my iPhone the game stopped working properly on both platforms. I’ve tried contacting Netflix in regards to this but they basically said that they would pass my issue on to tech-support.

Love this game on the iPad!! Just wish there was a way to play online with other player and not bots

The “cafe” music option is a great sound. I wish I could download the song.

There was supposed to be games coming to Netflix
I don’t see the point in adding games to the Netflix app if you just have to download them separately anyway

They should give an option to try the game without subscription.

iPad running 15.2.1: game crashes immediately upon opening app. Can’t even reach the load screen.

Why would this not have online play against real players. Very boring playing against an ai player.

When moving the dominoes, they leave a trail on the table and the trail doesn’t disappear.

If you ask for a human player, the game runs about 20 seconds, then sends a bot, EVEN though you specifically requested a human.

Latest update gives error when loading

Can’t play at all. Opens and says An Error Had Occurred and will never let you do anything

Your AI opponent knows what is in your hand and plays accordingly.
